I had my appointment with KG. I seen her anime promo on IG and really liked her style so I said, why not! She was really responsive, and detailed and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. During our appointment, I noticed how clean the studio was. Very pristine and large. They also had some good music playing while the artists worked and that was nice. KG herself was kind and precise with her work and she overall had a great aura. On to the tattoo. The session was roughly 2-3 hours and she was highly focused, but also open for conversation which was nice. It's a tattoo, and it was tatted over some past scars, so it's going to hurt, but she didn't apply crazy pressure that left me wanting to tap out which is good. Some artists are very heavy handed, but KG was light but diligent. The tattoo came out SO pretty. Overall, I highly intend to get more tattoos by her. I'd love to call KG my "go-to-artist" because her style is diverse, her line work is top tier, and she's a nice person to be around.

The O Tattoo Studio is by far one of the nicest tattoo shops that I have ever been. The studio is super cute and clean, not your stereotypical tattoo shop. I get tattooed by KG (Kris) and her work is amazing. I have two pieces done by her and I am obsessed with both. Most definitely will come back for another one! I met the owner Siri the last time I came in and she was really nice, actually everyone that works here is. I would definitely recommend checking out KG and the other artists here, they will not disappoint!

Upper arm all done by the uber talented, uber professional KG (IG link below). After some pretty crappy experiences with other artists, I was starting to get discouraged with the idea of finishing this sleeve I've been dreaming about for a long time. But she's been a breath of fresh air over these past 6 months or so working together. The collaboration has gone super smoothly and I couldn't be more pleased with the way everything came out. I was especially nervous because I have dark skin; and I was concerned the details wouldn't show. As you can see from the photos, that was not the case. Had an Orca tattoo by Whiskie. We chatted on IG a few times prior to the appt, and she always responded to my inquiries kindly. Her design was beautiful, and the tattoo was a lot prettier than the sketch! Despite being an introvert, I quite enjoyed my convo with Whiskie. The session went really well. I loved how the other artists came by Whiskie's station, casually talked about their day and hyped up her work. It was such a warm and friendly environment. The studio itself is very chic and neat. 100% recommend!

I accidentally came across this page on Instagram when looking for tattoo artists. I was a bit skeptical at first as I'm a small petite woman and it being a tattoo shop in Oakland but it's in a great area! It's a private studio on the corner and there's parking nearby within walking distance. I booked with Lea (or Whiskie), and it was probably one of the easiest sessions I've ever had. Not only did I like the artist I booked with but everyone else that she worked with and the overall vibe of the shop. If you're looking for fine line, touch ups, and flash tattoos this is the place to go! I cannot recommend them enough and I wish I had gotten my first tattoo here

This was my first time getting a Tattoo and the whole experience was wonderful. The studio is very welcoming, clean, and calming which ultimately made the tattoo experience as seamless as possible. Siri is one of the sweetest, most gentle individuals I have ever encountered and I am very thankful to have her design and do my tattoo. Saw Sago for a flash piece & LOVE it! The studio is so clean and welcoming. Everyone is friendly and upbeat. It's in a very safe part of Oakland right near Berkley. Close to public trans but- I drove and was able to find parking out front. I definitely recommend this studio and will be back for more!

I worked with Arie and she was absolutely lovely! Communication pre-appointment was on point and I felt very prepared the day of. I asked for a couple of tweaks and she graciously made the adjustments and offered some additional suggestions. I felt like we were a team and her calm demeanor put any nerves to rest. It took about two hours and I felt comfortable the entire time. The shop is beautiful and clean and was one of the best experiences I've had getting a tattoo. Arie checked in with me often and was so focused and paid great attention to detail. The finished product was amazing and I'm so thankful I got an opportunity to work with her.

This tattoo experience was really great :) The studio is clean with a cool aesthetic, and it felt safe and comfortable my whole stay. Their music choice was pretty good, so I didn't need my phone to occupy me during the session. I worked with Michelle (Insta: @ yue.ink) who was nice, easy to work with, and has the coolest art style! An enjoyable experience all around, and I would definitely recommend coming here. At the age of 40, I just completed getting my first tattoo from Siri at O Tattoo Studio. I couldn't be more grateful and thrilled with the entire experience from start to finish. There were a couple of reasons why I am a massive fan of Siri and O Tattoo. 1. Siri is a stellar artist. I wanted to find an artist who excelled and focused on fine linework and enjoyed botanical tattoos. Siri delivered. She had an incredible attention to detail, an ability to craft beautiful ultra fine lines and developed a feminine, delicate full arm tattoo. We started with co-creating the design. She offered a strong point of view for what would and would not look good given the overall aesthetic I was going for. Over two sessions, she created a masterpiece. 2. She is the owner of O Tattoo Studio and it is an awesome female run small business. Yes please. Her studio is peaceful and welcoming, and you can tell that everyone who worked there was happy and at home being there. 3. Lastly, she invests in her community. While I was there during each of my three visits, she had several different apprentices learning from her. She took her time, explained what and why she was doing something. She is crafting the next generation of artists to continue the exceptional work at O Tattoo Studio. O Tattoo Studio is the best. I am grateful to have found Siri and the team there. From the moment I walked into O Tattoo I felt completely comfortable. They have cultivated a great vibe there, well beyond the beautiful physical environment. Working with Siri felt like both an honor and a pleasure. She is an extremely gifted artist with an incredibly sharp eye for detail and a great touch. Got my first tattoo done here by Story and the whole experience was wonderful. The communication was great during the design process. The studio itself is very clean and bright with a lot of cool art/decor to look at (they even had a little pet snake! so cute) Since it was my first time, Story tried her best to make me feel comfortable (which I was) and informed/walked me through everything. I got an amazing custom piece by Story! She made me feel so comfortable and listened to all my revisions. Super patient, kind, and talented! The studio had a great atmosphere. The high ceilings with a cool chandelier made if feel very open and inviting. Lots of pretty plants to look at while you are getting your tattoo done. Super clean, chill music and comfy tables to lay on, what more could you ask for! Definitely would recommend! read more

Siri, the owner, worked with me to come up with and design my highly detailed sleeve. The studio is comfortable, open, well lit, the opposite vibe of a lot of dive-like studios. Very LGBTQIA++ and women friendly. Thad bathroom is full of awesome witch decor. read more

Excellent experience! I love the ambiance and decor of this place. It feels like these artists have created a true community and a strong learning environment. I had a really amazing experience getting a tattoo from SiriMontra -- she is so good at what she does, her artwork is really beautiful! I had a tattoo that I wasn't that happy with that I got at another studio years ago, and she was able to somehow transform it into something so much more fitting for my personality and pretty based on my very sparse articulation of what I disliked about it - I am so so happy that I came here! She also was able to add another piece to it on extremely short notice (I asked as I arrived at the appointment..) and she was extremely nice about it and accommodating. I can't speak highly enough of my experience with this tattoo -- I am so so happy with how it turned out! Everything from the communication, to her ability to visualize and create something that fit my aesthetic, to the actual process of getting tattood was so good! read more

Could not have had a better experience for my first tattoos. I sent an inquiry with Story via the form on the website, and she responded a few days later and was communicative over email. I was originally going to book one tattoo but when I mentioned that I'd eventually like two, she suggested doing both in a single session. We picked a date a few months out, and she sent sketches the day before the appointment. The studio is right at the corner of Telegraph and Alcatraz, and it was easy to find free street parking. It is clean, light, and airy inside. Story was done with both tattoos in under 2 hours, which was well under the estimate she'd given me and her work is exquisite. I'll definitely be back if I ever want to get more work done. read more

I couldn't be happier with my tattoo experiences here! I love the atmosphere of the shop, it's gorgeous. And everyone is so friendly and inviting. My artist is Violeta, who is amazing! I happened to be following one of the apprentice's, Jazz, on Twitter and she had the cutest cleanest Whooper design up and I made an appointment. 100% worth the long commute to get there lol. Jazz is so accurate and talented, her mentor was available to give advice and even worked on the tattoo a little to show some technical skill which was so cool. All the staff was really friendly and talented. Jazz has so much skill and I'm excited to see what else they work on!! Definitely a place to check out read more

I couldn't ask for a more wonderful first tattoo experience! Lea was my artist; she was bright and kind and welcoming, and talked me through every step of her process. She maintained communication with me from the very start, providing clear instructions for deposit, day of preparations, and aftercare which was very assuring. As for the studio itself, if you visit their website their banner reads: elegant * sophisticated * feminine, and it was exactly that and more. You can feel the positive energy the moment you walk in, and from the interactions I witnessed (consultations, mentoring, passing compliments), I could see how supportive and affirming everyone was. Even pre-pandemic, I believed tattoo shops were the cleanest place to be--O Tattoo Studio certainly confirmed that. On top of the industry standard, everyone was masked up and hand sanitizer was provided upon entry in respect to COVID prevention guidelines. I felt incredibly safe and empowered to be in a shop operated by such talented women, and am definitely inspired to collect a piece from each one of them in the future! This studio is on a different level. It is clearly a collective of artists rather than a business and you feel that in every interaction. I worked with Siri who is incredibly skilled and passionate, In design, execution and (a very generous) touch-up, I was completely taken care of. I booked an appointment with Lea for a dog and cat skeleton tattoos under my collarbones. I did end up being 10 mins late due to the commute (I'm from Daly City), but they were understanding and glad I arrived safe. Very nice, clean, and elegant studio, and Lea was super friendly accommodating the entire time. Even making sure that I had eaten and drank water beforehand. I also mentioned to them that I'd prefer numbing spray, since I'm more on the petite side and they didn't mind at all. The whole process took about 6 hours since neither of us were on a time crunch, and we also took plenty of breaks to stretch, use the bathroom, and snack. They even worked with my budget, I was expecting around $800+ but the price was only $400, including my deposit. I wish I could give more stars, such a positive and comfortable experience! Can't wait to come back and work with the other artists!! read more

So many good things to say about O. The studio is SUPER clean, professional and comfortable. The real treat though is the artist I worked with, Siri. I did not give them the easiest assignment, as I wanted my mom's thumbprint somehow artistically crafted into permanent ink. It took quite a bit of convincing, but I eventually let go and trusted Siri. This was my first tattoo, so not an easy thing for me to do. The result is what I believe is absolutely the best possible outcome and I couldn't be happier. Siri stuck with their initial ideas and provided logic based explanations around her thoughts and ideas. Siri, thank you. You're amazing and I respect you tremendously. read more

Today I got my first tattoo and I picked the perfect place to get it at! I had been in contact with Siri for many months leading up to the appointment. She was very responsive. I knew right when I walked through the door that I made the best choice. The studio vibe has great energy and is so refreshing. It is so clean! Christy greeted me at the door. She was kind and made me feel right at home. Siri greeted me soon after. They both had awesome personalities which calmed my nerves and made me so relaxed. We talked and laughed through the session. Five stars for Siri and the crew at O Tattoo Studio! I had been thinking about getting a tattoo symbolizing Oakland for almost two years, and so glad I finally made it to O Tattoo Studio to have it done. Siri was great about working with me on the design and it turned out exactly how I wanted it! Tattoo is beautiful, and the fine line work she does is amazing. Siri explained everything as she went, tattooing process was not painful, and the team keeps everything nice, clean, and sanitized. Space is also lovely and light and filled with gorgeous plants, little pieces of art, and beautiful butterflies, moths, and cicadas displayed so well. If you get a chance, check out the killer Morticia Adamms platter on display in the customer restroom. read more

michelle is an amazing tattoo artist! the store itself is very pretty (in the middle of getting updated!) and very clean! also very safe, you have to ring the bell to be let in, otherwise the door remains locked. i had a REALLY fabulous experience for my first tattoo and will definitely be looking here again for next pieces! read more

A longtime tattoo artist, Sirimontra's deep relationship with art actually began when she first drew at the age of three. Since then, she has worked with various mediums ranging from painting, computer illustration, to sculpting. Tattooing is especially gratifying for Siri as she enjoys getting to meet the people who will wear her artwork permanently. Siri draws inspiration from the natural world; however, she also is known for her fantasy artwork. Days leading up to it, I was still very worried because I hadn't seen her sketch yet. The day beforehand, she sent me her sketch and I adjusted it to my liking. The next day was my appointment and I had to call her since the building was kind of hard to find. The studio was very clean and professional. I had never had a professional studio tattoo prior to this visit and I was a little worried about the pain especially because of the stipple shading. Ally had a super light hand and the outline was completely fine, and after the pain spray it was basically numb. Another concern was the healing process and I did notice little black flakes coming off and I was a little worried. After a couple weeks, fully healed, the tattoo looks as good as it was when it was freshly done. The session took less than two hours and I think the price was reasonable. Definitely appreciate Ally being my first studio tattoo experience! Thanks again :-)

Made an appointment through email, sent different pictures of what I wanted, and he was easy to communicate with. When I arrived, he was friendly and accommodating with all the little changes I wanted on the stencils. He made good conversation throughout the entire process, which distracted me from the light pain from the tattoos. For both arms, he said it was a minimum of $80! Such a good price for two tats so I decided to tip him graciously. Highly recommend this place if you want your first tattoo experience to be comfortable.

I recently had my first tattoo(s) done by Léa at O Tattoo studio, and let me tell you what a wonderful experience it was! Léa was the best combination of professional, kind, and fun to talk to while doing her work, and on top of that an incredible artist with seriously good technique -- my tattoos were in a difficult spot and she pulled it off without a hitch. I came to her with a general sense for what I wanted and where and she nailed it with the designs, it didn't take more than 5 or 10 minutes to agree on the final piece and I'm so happy with how it's turned out. And the studio itself, wow what a good place to get tattooed. It's big and bright and calm, with just enough eclectic decoration by the artists to make it feel home-y and a unique reflection of each of their styles. I half-jokingly mentioned I could fall asleep there during the session, I was so relaxed. All around I couldn't have asked for a better time, and I'll absolutely be coming back to Léa and O Tattoo for more! :) read more

Siri was very calming and made me feel comfortable and at ease. Even when there was confusion about date and time (twice!), She rolled with it and accommodated me. She advised me on how to improve my intital plans for it. She didn't change anything without checking with me and talking it over. Siri not does Permanent Makeup !!!! whoo hoo!!!! She got certified in the SOFT TAP method using natural vegetable pigment and uses her tattoo gun like a magic wand. She is the best!!!!!!! She did my eyeliner and eyebrows. My eyebrows look so natural that no one can tell that it's permanent. Super detailed and natural looking. AMAZING!!!!! I am super picky and anal but I trust Siri and highly recommend her for permanent makeup!! read more

Absolutely loved my experience here! Siri was so kind and accommodating. I told her I run cold and since I was getting a spine tattoo my back was exposed. Siri put a personal heater by me, offered me a blanket and tea. The tattoo was a little pricey but you're paying for the art you want and the work she did was beautiful.
