Open late and two hard working helpful guys working there. Store was clean and bright and parking was easy. Open late all the way till 9pm. Not only that but the guys working there don't close 5 or 10 minutes early as I've encountered elsewhere. I like that - and although I understand the temptation to close a bit early I'm used to the high customer service from Trader Joes - there the rule is as long as your there before closing time - even just half a minute - they let you in... they have the same policy here due to the strong work ethic from the two behind the counter. They run right through the finish line. Store was clean and bright and nothing out of place. Very impressive. Its evident that the workers here wear many hats and preform a variety of tasks to achieve efficiency. One thing I always keep in mind is how restaurants operate. I can't stand some waitress just hanging around killing time when things are not tidy. I like the slogan 'if you've got time to lean, you've got time to clean.' Some of the cars I have are getting difficult to get parts for. Often special order is necessary - and the willingness to check and order close to closing time was noticed. After Auto Zone gave me the run around, I went to O'Reilly's by 11TH in Tracy, who didn't have my part, but the nice parts guy checked with his brother at their store down the street by Harbor Freight, who did have it in stock & it was waiting for me in 5 minutes. They were 2 of the nicest ( & good looking) parts guys I've ever dealt with. Thanks for enabling me to repair my car before I had to use it to get to surgery early the next day. read more

My car stalled a week ago at the walmart parking lot and thought it needed a new battery. So I called the one place near there but, the wait time to check my battery is 2hrs. Called O'Reilly and has been told that I can come by right away. Thank goodness my car started and drove there. They checked my battery and was told it's bad. They have it in stock and the most awesome part is, I got that battery from them and still under warranty and got replaced without any charge. The associate was so friendly and nice that I was in and out of there in no time. Lowest quality parts combined with terrible customer service. I purchased a pair of brand new rain-x wipers from this place, 2 days later they are leaving streaks on my windshield. I asked the cashier to exchange the defective wiper, he told me it was impossible because I didn't save my receipt. I told him the name of the cashier who sold me the wipers, he apologized and told me he wasn't working that day. So if these guys will give you a hard time over windshield wipers, you shouldn't buy anything of value from them. read more

They had the part I needed, it was cheap, and they were open until 9PM. I had a slam dunk experience replacing a brake light switch on my 2011 Ford Expedition. This $15 part completely immobilized my wife's car, b/c the shifter would not come out of park. I came home from work at 7:30PM, figured out the problem by 8:15, called And Omar said they had the part, at 8:35 I walked out of the store part in hand. At 9:00 the car was all fixed. Omar was really helpful and highly competent. The guy is an awesome asset to O'Rileys. Between helping two customers and answering phones, he knew just where to point on the screen in 5 seconds to communicate to the new employee what part number and where to find it. read more

I have been a customer for years at this address. Recently I tried to purchase a Transmission service kit. First they gave me the wrong kit & after dismantling the car I found it was wrong. Returned it. They couldn't find the right one but told me what transmission fluid to buy. Wrong also. After returning the fluid they put it back on my card & said it should go back on in 24hrs. It didn't. Returned to the store to ask why & another employee said it takes 2 to 3 days. Like most people having almost a $100 tied up and needing to get the car finished hurts. What bothers me the most was their nonchalant attitude of sorry & just put their heads back down & going back to work. Not even a by, have a nice day, nothing. I wasn't angry didn't swear, didn't make a scene, was upset but polite. How about offering maybe a store credit to get what I need or at least look like attempting to make a phone call to try & straighten it out. The effort would have meant something. read more

I was so impressed by the service level of the auto parts store that I wanted to tAke the time to write a review on it. I call and received such great service over the phone by Alonzo. He was a very big resource in helping me find exactly everything i needed in order for me to fix my car. The service over the phone great and over the top. When I arrived to the store the next day everything I needed had arrived by 7:30 am when they opened. Employees need to move like they get paid to do their jobs. Sitting here writing this because though I'm the only person in line, I've been here 10 minutes watching the guys mosey around the store yawning and walking around like i do on a Sunday morning after i just woke up. Ridiculous. Then i finally get to the guy and ask for a pair of lug nuts. They show 7 on hand. After another 5 minutes of waiting he comes back and says they have none. Seriously? Honestly I've only interacted with a few employees at this location and they are cool when they are there. But most of the time I deal with the older man who is pretty grumpy and not welcoming. Pretty much all of my interactions with him have been uncomfortable, he's definitely not a people person (he probably has his favorites). But yesterday I went in to buy a battery for my car and it was a sh**show. First off, he says the cheapest battery was 139 which was BS because I saw one for $109 online that was in stock but whatever it was probably a good thing I paid a little extra for a 3 year warranty one ‍. Secondly, I asked if someone could please help me switch it out since I haven't acquired many tools since moving out on my own (plus I didn't even know if my car would start in the parking lot which it did) but he straight up said "no we only have 2 people working". It takes less than 5 minutes to do it and other locations are always very helpful when it comes to that or putting on wiper blades. There wasn't anyone in the store other than me and another guy who was being helped by the other employee, so I just thought of it as being lazy. I bought a cheap wrench set and went home to replace it myself. I couldn't get the bolt off of the positive terminal because I didn't have the right size wrench to get it off. So being pretty irritated I drove my car over to the other location (closer to eleventh street) and the guy there (I think his name was richard or something, Mexican with black hair, very helpful) was glad to help me replace it and get the core deposit back. So after having plenty of crappy experiences at this location I will not be back, I will be going to the other location from here on out. read more

When you go in to buy a battery and it says free installation but the two girls working don't know anything and say they are short handed. There are three guys having a great conversation in the back not doing a thing. So they make me use brakemasters who charge me 24 to install it crap ass service Rebecca and the other girl were not helpful in the least go get your battery at Costco I would have but my car wouldn't start to get there! read more

I went to this place for some brake pads. Their customer service absolutely sucked. Two different employees did not know how to look up anything on the computer. It just tells me that this place just hires people to fill spaces and not because of what they know. I don't recommend this place if you're looking for good customer service. Just went in for the little trees air freshners. Cost me 7.56 gave the guy 8 bucks. He said 44 cents is your change walked away and never came back with my change. Wtf? I told a lady that came out of back and she started talking to me about a radiator cap. I told her I just want my fucking change. Did the guy have to go to the bank or what. A different guy got my change. It was only 44cents but wtf is wrong with customer service these days. Maybe it was bcuz I am a woman. read more

She had a hard time taking the old ones off so she asked the manager who was in his car leaving if he can help. He came right over and helped. I highly recommend this store. Long story short. Came here to buy coolant for my Civic. 1st off the guy gives me the wrong coolant. And 2nd he tells me that the coolant I currently have in there (green) is the wrong kind. Now thanks to him I have to flush my radiator because he gave me the wrong coolant. My fault for trusting that he knew what he was talking about. My suggestion is to do your own research as far as coolants go. read more
