Overall good and fast service. They try to upsell you by trying to get you to changing the engine…read morefilter every time you go in for an oil change. That filter only needs to be changed every one or even every two years so just don't waste your money. They top off your fluids, which is good. Many places say that they do it, but here you're in the car so you see them do it. You don't know how many places I used (many dealerships) that say that they will top off your fluids and then you have to do it yourself the next day. Anyway, I like being in the car and seeing what these guys do. Recently, they started to also check your lights, which is great. They'll ask you to tap your breaks and turn on your turning signals so that they can make sure it's all working. Very smart and a nice touch. I wish they started to also check tire pressure. I always ask for it and when I do, they check it, but some of their guys assume that if I don't have warning lights for tire pressure then they can skip it, which I find ennoying - those things don't always work and do break. Not a big deal. Just ask them to check manually and you're good to go.

In the past, I could stay in my car, have the test completed in about five minutes, provide my VIN and mileage, plug in the reader near the door, pay right there, and be on my way. It was quick, convenient, and exactly why I kept returning. On my most recent visit, there were no cars in line and I was greeted as usual. However, I was told by the manager that I would need to exit the vehicle and wait in the lobby because they needed to hook up several wires to the car. I explained that I had always been able to remain in the car during the test, and that I was on a conference call and specifically came for the fast, convenient service. Manager Ryan was not rude, but he said he could not perform the emissions test while I remained in the vehicle and that I would need to wait in the lobby. Since I did not have time to wait for a test that normally takes only a few minutes, I went to Cason Emissions, just down the street. The experience was excellent: the staff member was friendly, I was able to stay in my car, the emissions test was completed in about five minutes, and the price was lower. I will be using Cason Emissions going forward because of the convenience, quick service, and ability to remain in my vehicle. I want to be clear that this review is not meant to reflect poorly on the technicians--they are all fantastic, and I've always had great interactions with them. My rating remains four stars because of the consistently excellent service I've received over the years. However, it appears the drive-through emissions policy has changed under the current management, so others may want to be prepared to exit their vehicle and wait in the lobby. Today, I happened to be 20 mins away after a doc appt and took the chance. Well, just ad I got close, there was a wreck right past the exit! 50 mins later, I arrived at the center at 4:54. Quickly grabbed my Jaguar battery and struggled across the lot. A man unlocks the office door to tell me his system is down and proceeded to chastise me for my arrival time. I beseeched him to service me, expressing my exasperation with my latest attempts and how few centers are available. Dan responded impatiently with how he has to be there at 7am, and he would have to pay overtime...workers want to get home to their kids, etc. So, after putting the battery back in my vehicle, I knocked on the office door and asked if he would extend some concession for a future visit. To my surprise, he threw out an insulting 5%!!! "That doesn't even cover taxes." I replied. Clearly Dan did not care nor appreciate my business. I understood about the system being down, but he made NO ATTEMPT at demonstrating that he would like to keep me as a customer. He operated like a government office--'You need us more than we need you, you little nobody'. Although I pulled out the largest battery, I had two more I wanted to swap, but would've been satisfied with servicing one, OR providing an appreciation discount for my next hour long trek.
