I decided to replace the wiper blades for our Audi A5 and purchased it @ O'Reilly Auto Parts since it says that it's free installation and $12 off if you purchase a pair. Purchased the rain-x Rugged XL. First it was the female customer service personnel tried to install it but she had hard time installing it so she went and ask for the other staff, Oscar (that's what I was told his name whenI asked his male colleague his name was). Oscar had a hard time of installing the wiper blades so the female colleague called the other male staff to help out installing the wiper blades. It took 10-15 mins of installing just the drivers side. When Oscar tried to replace the passenger side, he asked me to bring the wipers down but I explained to him that wipers cannot go all the way up if it's down and it's harder to replace unless it's it's set on "service mode" He keep insisting to put it down and I kept telling him it will be harder so he told me that I have to do it myself if I won't bring the wipers down which is really harder unless it's on service mode. So I did it myself and it took 3-5 mins while it's in "service mode" I wish O'Reilly Auto Parts Paradise Valley Road needs all staff in training not just in replacing wipers since website states that it's "free installation". I've worked with customer service on my 23 plus years in the military before retirement and Oscar needs some help in proper way of customers service interaction. Btw, I am not asking "but" last time I checked "smile" or eye contact is free and inviting for customers upon entering the store. read more

Riley's customer service is a total flop. You call, and they either ghost you completely or, worse, pick up just to hang up abruptly--leaving you staring at your phone in disbelief. Tried three times today, same nonsense. It's rude, unprofessional, and makes you question why they'd ever bottle a thing. BEWARE, spoken warranties are not what are stated on your receipts. They use this sales technique to promote their products. When you try to return the item is when they tell you to read your receipt and don't acknowledge what was verbally said. They get upset with the customer, they throw each other under the bus blaming one another and your left with no warranty and bad customer service! I felt i was speaking to person off the street with no professionalism. Worse part is that I'm a long term customer and feel that their treatment of my situation was handled wrong. read more

I just had the best experience today. Most women do not enjoy going to auto parts stores, it can be intimidating and you don't want to look stupid. Like men shopping for groceries. Called a day prior to confirm they have an OBD 1 Reader for their free check engine light diagnosis. Most places only have an OBD 2 Was told on the phone that they do have an OBD 1 reader. The guy even mentioned they check cars back into the 1960's. However upon asking about it when I went in person was told they don't have it? Odd. I would hope that the staff wasn't lying because they didn't feel like doing the check. Don't waste your time at this location. The manager on duty even mentioned they only do readings as far back as 1996. So who lied? Get your act together guys. Only called ahead to ask so I wouldn't waste my time. I have been to this location so many times it is a hidden gem in Spring Valley. Everyone has always been so helpful and reliable with their automotive parts knowledge. I've had my battery changed, wind shield wipers changed etc and assessment on other issues with my 1999 Honda Accord. My car is old and I've been to tons of places over the years for assistance with my repairs and the service here is by far my favorite. I love O'Reilly's, but this place got the thumbs down tonight. The "Manager" Isaiah while rude and condescending during my visit, also sold me the wrong part. When I called the store, I got him again, same attitude and he hung up during the call. I went to the store in person to make sure the correct part would be ordered (with a different rep) Isaiah continued to interject into our conversation, more attitude (However I was louder than him in person) He said he always has a problem with older black men (obviously he is the common demenator!) Sunday morning I was in to buy a new battery for my car between 11:30 am to 12 pm. I was helped by someone who seemed honest and genuine. He made my experience very easy and fast. I was in and out very quickly and was told that if I took back my old battery I could get 15$ refunded from the new battery. I walked away satisfied and happy. However, I was later surprised to know that while I was at work, the employees took the liberty of looking up my parent's information and abusing that information to their amusement. They called the telephone number under my father's name and had the audacity to ask about my relationship status, make a comment about my personal appearance, and even go as far as asking if they could have my personal cell phone number. A true lack of professionalism and am sad to say that after so many years of our business, that these are the type of people O'Reilly's hires. read more

I waited over a month for a clutch disk I ordered only to keep getting the run around. My last time visiting Kragen was for some 3 dollar parking light bulbs that autozone were out of. I ended up waiting in line for close to 15 minutes while the cashier hit on the girl at his register. When finally another employee opened up a second register he took the customer in the back of the line. The next guy in line must have been close to 70 and looked like he was going to collapse from standing so long but the cashier didn't seem to care. I've lived in this neighborhood long enough know how many times this place has been remodeled, including the staff. The one thing that's constant is their RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. It took three trips to get the correct replacement for my head light from someone who obviously decided he was going to be rude as soon as I walked in the door. Trip 1: Thought I broke the ice because I got a smile and a good conversation out of this guy. Oops! Sold me the wrong head light. Trip 2: Asks me high or low beam (something he didn't do the first time), came out to my car to confirm and proceeded to sell me the wrong light AGAIN. Trip 3: Smart enough not to drive all the way home this time. Showed him once again that it was the WRONG PART, at which time he tried to blame me. HE'S the parts man and HE did come out to my car to confirm the part before he sold it to me. Hear that? That's the sound of their rude reputation reestablishing itself. I came in here one evening to get some oil for my car, I have never been treated so rudely by a customer service personal before when I go to an auto parts store! The guy Jeffery behind the counter was no help, I let him know that I drive a lot of miles each week so I needed something for the high miles, and an older car.. I was kindly informed that none of that mattered!! I was in shocked, me being a women who knows very little about car maintenance even knew that I needed a better performance oil to keep the engine in good shape! I needed the oil, it took me a few more minutes but I was able to find the oil I needed on my own, paid, and left...I will go to an O'Relly's again, I will just drive the extra mile to Pep boys, or Auto Zone! read more
