They aren't ASE certified mechanics, and they will ruin your vehicle like they did mine. They offer 12 months, or 12,000 mile warranty for work performed, but don't stand behind what they offer. That's why they are currently being sued. They are a rip off!

The prices were more or less within our price range, and Subarus are historically reliable, so we bought the car. And yes, with every older, used car, there are bound to have some minor issues associated with a used car. But, the vin numbers matched, relatively clean, no squeaky brakes but an issue with shifting into 1st gear. Ok. Alright. So we bought the car. FOUR [4] days later in our first "major" drive from Cheney to Northside Costco, at Hawthorne/Newport Hwy, whilst making a left turn, car dies. We called PAS and spoke with the sales associate and let him know the situation and to see if they could help us in fixing this "new" problem. We called during business hours just after we had this incident, had to leave a message. PAS called back on Monday, told us to call back once we had the car towed to a mechanic [AMG AUTO] and knew what was wrong with our Subaru and to let them know. On 27 June, the owner of PAS called me and wanted to know what we [my wife and I and PAS] corps so to resolve this issue. PAS owner tried to placate me by seemingly offering assurances that some solution would be worked out. Once we found out that the problem was a bad timing belt, bent rods as well as a shot clutch [which seemed to be previously "repaired" but the fly- wheel had gouge marks) we informed PAS of the problem. Then the backtracking, unresponsivness, and the deflecting of responsibility. The ONLY help was a +/- $400 check out of the $4000 of the cost of the car and the $3800 for total cost repairs. We have made EVERY attempt to ask for a qreasonable and equitable solution

When getting quoted for a job they did not come look at the car and the new part I wanted to install so I either thought they were confident they know what they're doing/talking about, but no. They assumed it was a part different than discussed and didn't realize it would require more work than replacing the original part. They then asked for more time mid job and an increase in the job's cost (from what I originally agrred and signed for. I returned at a later date to ask how much it would be to finish and they said since the bumper has to come off, it would take around 2 hours of labor, so the cost would be $300. The original tech had told me he had everything routed for me to finish wiring "without" taking the bumper off. So either it takes them a ridiculous amount of time to take a bumper off I could do in much less than an hour, or they're lying about things and can't keep their stories straight. No wonder I've walked in while they argued on the phone with someone.

We mailed in the card via snail mail. Then he tells me to 'be nice or I'll hang up'! Ironic since he is the one that told me I didn't Mail in the warranty card and I don't know how to break in an engine. Stated he would call me the next day after reviewing everything - never called back. I sold the car before further problems since Sunwest doesn't seem as skilled as they claim and is rude to their customers.

I had to spend a month of my life learning about the engine just to understand how many things they got wrong. They basically stole my money. The worst sort of auto shop you could imagine is better than Sunworst Auto.
