Today I was at this location because I had heard they can assist with a headlamp replacement. The gentleman that assisted me was rather exceptional. Matthew was not only very professional, but his attitude and relaxed calm and patient demeanor was on point. Matthew was able to navigate the space under the hood, access the entire headlight assembly and ensure the new bulb was secure, even with a slight modification to get the fit sure and snug. For his character, aptitude, and relaxed ability to fix the problem and teach me a few pointers for the future, I will GLADLY continue giving business to Autozone and this location on Division. Such a great AutoZone! I came in to buy a new cabin air filter for my car and bought the K&N reusable air filter and man oh man does it really pump out solid clean air. I was lucky enough to get the last one but if you ever need a new cabin air filter it the k&n one as it is not only reusable but it also boosts your air flow up 25% which is huge! It was a bit on the pricey side at about $50 after tax but when you think about it, you never have to replace it as opposed to replacing other brands. It's an investment piece and worth ever penny! This place is well stocked, clean, organized. This auto zone is like a brand new toy still sealed in its box. I went very early in the morning, wasn't busy, and helped promptly by one of the cashiers. Was looking to replace one of my headlights that went out, he pulled my car up on his computer, the part I needed, and walked r over to the location where they had 3 different options of the same thing! I'm pretty sure this is the Autozone I went to, and I got so much help from the staff I had to write a review. Short answer: I was on a road trip from Portland and my alternator was going out. I stopped in and Brandon was able to help me diagnose the issue, and coach me on fixing the part myself. I'm not a auto savvy guy. I made it to Montana after the repair no problem. Long answer: My alternator was going out around Kennewick and I stopped at a Napa Auto Parts. The guy behind the counter said it's probably fine. I made it about 20 miles out of town before the problem started happening again. I nervously kept my foot on the pedal and made it to Spokane stressed and overwhelmed. It was a Saturday, so no auto shops were open. Brandon was candid and easy going during my stressful time, and was extremely helpful. He tested the battery and let me know it was the alternator. He gave me a quick coaching lesson on what I was going to need to do, loaned me some tools, and set me on my way. He came out to make sure everything was going well a couple of times. The rest of the staff continued helping me as Brandon went home. My mechanical skills over the course of my life have gotten about as far as replacing a spark plug. I was able to remove my serpentine belt, move hoses, remove my alternator, replace with new alternator, replace the pieces I had removed, and crank the car. I made it to Montana, then Salt Lake City, then back to Portland, then to Eugene and back with zero issue. It's about two weeks after that road trip and still no issue. Stopped in Thursday morning with a small nylon rivet I needed to replace. Was shown where they were located but the man pointed at them said there they are and walked away to joke with the other employees behind the counter. I tried my best to find what I needed but ended up with the wrong thing. Went to Oreillys and the employee not only talked to me but went out to my truck to see what I needed! They weren't helpful at all. I asked them what part I needed for my car and they just gave me a list of parts that might work an wouldn't verify on the computer which part would actually work for my car. Another thing is the supervisor was yelling at his employees, which is very unprofessional with customers in the store. I'm not going to be coming back to that store again. read more
