4 & 1/2, Man this sandwich was good, one of the most memorably delicious meals on a trip filled with deliciously memorable meals. Although Porto's signature Francesinha sandwich is far more elaborate and over the top, I'll give the Lisboa the undisputed MVP sandwich city status on the strength of this beauty, sirloin steak, pounded gloriously thin, breaded & fried up Milanese-style and stuffed in a Prego roll. Said roll is no less than some of the most glorious bread I've ever encountered, think a delicious love child of the best Cuban bread and focaccia's you've ever encountered topped with a deliciously pungent garlic spread , pressed and toasted. While I am surely no authority on where is actually the best place to get one, and in fact have only sampled this very one referenced here, at this establishment (specifically the Yuppie variety, topped with delicious cheddar cheese and unctuous sauce), what I can with certainty say is that this is a very fine place indeed to sample one, with a hip inviting atmosphere and hit yet professional staff, and a great selection of insanely cheap and insanely delicious Portuguese wine. Staff was very accommodating with my borderline annoying request to eat a little and take some back to my jet-lagged lady back at the hotel, which I feel is kind of pushing it in Europe.

    The welcome snack!

Really liked the whole experience. Friendly young staff, simple but very fresh food. Specializes in fish burgers and meat sandwiches. Home baked crisps as a side dish, black burger bread (ink dyed). Cool, hassle free.

Wont take a visa card. Waits until after the meal and forces customers to go to an atm.

A friend had highly recommended this spot when I said I was going to Lisbon. It was conveniently…read morelocated across the street from the hotel I stayed at. We had reservations for a party of 2 on a Saturday at 6 PM. When you check in, they give you a slip of paper which has a QR code on it for you to access the menu later, and we were promptly seated upstairs. The menu is conveniently available in several languages (you select your language at the bottom of the main menu page). We were at a long table for 6, with us sitting on the inside and another couple sitting at the end, and the table settings in between us were cleared, so it didn't feel like we were on top of one another. I appreciated that the server gave recommendations that would be good for two people. We went with most of his recommendations (shrimps on garlic sauce (it's labeled as spicy, but it's really not), clams on garlic, tiger prawns grilled on bed of salt) and added some of our own (razor clams and lobster roll). All the seafood tasted fresh, bursting with flavor from the buttery garlic sauce, which we sopped up with garlic bread. The bread is brought to the table when you first get seated. It's not free, which I was aware of, but I knew it would go well with the dishes we ordered. The razor clams were juicy and sweet. The lobster roll was good, but not something I would order again when there's so many other fantastic seafood choices. I usually don't drink beer, but felt that it was appropriate since we were at a cervejaria, so I ordered a bottle of Sagres Bohemia. It went perfectly with the seafood. My SO, who doesn't drink alcohol, got peach iced tea. I wanted to get the prego sandwich for dessert, but my SO was pretty much full at that point, so I ordered a tarte whisky and a cappuccino for myself. The whisky ice cream layer in the tarte was nice and refreshing. I was shocked when we got the bill and it came out to less than 50€. This meal would have cost so much more in the US. You pay via tablet at the end and I left a generous tip in appreciation of the wonderful meal and service. They get you in and out of there quick, but it never felt like we were being rushed out. I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for some fresh, delicious seafood in Lisbon.

You check in and then they ask you wait in their waiting area next door which looks a little bare and the outside patio seems like a smoking area. After we were called, we walked upstairs to a brightly-lit dining room. Lots of serving staff and all very friendly. Their menu is extensive and it's great they have photos too! My favorites had to be the giant tiger prawn, razor clams, and the crab head, but everything was tasted good and the seafood tasted fresh. Would recommend!
