Invited by long time friends we visited this place for the first but definitely not the last time. One quick note - they don't accept any credit cards that aren't Portuguese, so when I tried to play with my Capital One they wouldn't take it. Thankfully our friends were kind enough to pay for it :-) So, have cash if you're a tourist.
Their specialty is called "Naco na Pedra" which roughly translates to "Chunks on a Stone." We ordered that and were very satisfied. Your meat (chicken, beef or pork) comes to you raw and you cook it on a granite stone heated by burners. The meats were perfectly seasoned and cooking was a breeze. They also have a great variety of appetizers (petiscos) if you want to snack in advance. We also ordered Siricaia and Flan for dessert! Amazing meal with amazing friends. Highly recommend! read more
