I have never stayed at a place that felt so homely. The bed was comfy and thank goodness there was no down comforter- I get so hot with those no matter the temp. They also own a restaurant and bar next door- such a convenience! My mom and I enjoyed some cold brew and beers outside while waiting for our check in time. Hands down, the best place I've stayed! The staff is really friendly and accommodating, I was able to text them and they provided laundry detergent and dryer sheets for free, late check-out, and more. The location is excellent, we were able to walk to/from downtown Durango and enjoy the scenic river nearby. Parking is easy and fast, making check-in and check-out smooth. Lastly, the bedroom had nice views and was quite large, with a small balcony to enjoy a meal on.

Mesa Verde is about 30 minutes to the west, however when you get there, it's another hour or so to most of the points of interest.
