Sweet little inn in the center of the downtown strip. We loved the ease of check in, being able to walk out into the hustle and bustle of the town, but then go back to our quiet and homey room. Homebody was our room/suite and it's very spacious and quiet. We feel like we were staying at a family member's house, it was so cozy and there's so much character in the building and hallways. It is on the second story and it has stairs, but we love the ability to walk right out. We also have been pleased with the friendliness of the person operating the phones here. Funky little place to stay in downtown Durango! There's only 6 or 7 room options that vary in both size and aesthetic. We got the Homebody room, which had a king size bedroom, and a full-size pull out coach in the living room. Also a kitchen with all the utensils you'd need. The look of the apartment was definitely eclectic - bright shades of yellow and pink splashed across the walls. Plus, a polka dot bathroom. The decor was fun too. An old school radio, suitcase, and telephone were among the many items on the shelves. These rooms certainly aren't anything fancy, but everything was clean and tidy. It's nice that check in is contactless. You simply get a set of directions emailed to you once you book letting you know the code to get in. Parking is limited but they do give you a parking pass so you're all set. Also great is its location. Truly the center of downtown, within walking distance to all the shops, bars, restaurants, and coffee joints you could need. The one bummer was a leaking ceiling in our unit's bathroom. Hopefully they get that sorted ASAP because it was quite bad. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to travelers passing through! read more

Stayed in a room facing the street, "Somebody's" room. Stayed Friday and Saturday nights. Loud music venue across the street and lots of drunk people. Couldn't sleep. Hotel provided one pack of coffee, no one comes around to refresh the supply. Hotel doesn't tell you this but the bathroom is in the hall. Nice room but not going to stay here again. When I emailed to ask if we could change rooms no one replied. Last thing, be careful of tea kettle, tons of sediment at bottom it's gross. read more

Nobody's Inn is a gem of a place to stay on Main Street in the heart of historic downtown Durango. It's part hotel, part apartment, part your friend's granny space in back. We spent 2 delightful nights in the Homebody. Our party consisted of the grandparents, daughter and 5 year old grandson. We all loved it, even the little one. There is a little deck with 2 comfy chairs off of the living room, which was a lovely spot to wind down with an adult beverage. The kitchen is roomy, modern and fully equipped. The colors and the decor were fun and vibrant. Both the bed and the sleeper/sofa were comfortable. The towels are substantial, you know, as in not thin and skimpy. Everything is done up to a high standard. And the price point is right on. We got to meet the owner and he is a sweetheart. All in all, a wonderful experience. I recommend that you book it now! read more

Really comfortable place, like a friend's comfortable studio that you borrow when they're out of town. Honestly, the most comfortable bed we slept in during two weeks on the road. The room ("Somebody") looked out over Main Street; it was conveniently located right downtown. Really great place. Beautiful room, and the best service we've ever had without seeing anyone. Stayed here twice. Really dug the concept.. my only beef is with the main front room, which has a detached bathroom across the hall (so awkward at night) and the room up front is SUPER noisy. This wouldn't have been so bad, except nobody told us! Not on the site, not in the reviews, etc. The other room we stayed in was really nice and quiet. So.. if you get stuck in the front room (I think it's called 'Somebody') .. prepare to be up at least until two AM until the bar that plays Black Eyed Peas closes and the loud patrons wander home. Spent our Thanksgiving weekend here and it was a comfortable and classy home base in the sweet walkable town of Durango. You can stroll for shopping, snacking or even the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge railroad. Love the combo of historical and modern styles that make up the interior design. Our family had a great time at "Nobody's Inn". We made reservations over the phone as we headed into Durango. Within 20 minutes we were in our room. We did not encounter a single soul from checkin to checkout. What a unique experience (the room key was in the door when we arrived). We stayed in the "Somebody" room. Great view of Main street Durango. We are looking for a Cabin home near Durango and will definitely stay at "Nobody's Inn" during our search. The Family of 4 (kids 10 and 9) loved it!! reservation was simple, location was incredible, price was totally reasonable, the room was cozy, clean, perfect. we had the Anybody room, and if we ever stay in durango again, i will do whatever it takes to get a room here again. seriously, the room felt like a small apartment. i could live in it. comfortably. the ONLY thing i could think of that might make this not perfect is all the rooms are on the second floor, you gotta walk up stairs, so if stairs are not your thing, maybe this place isn't for you. read more

Found this hidden gem online. It's in a perfect spot right in the heart of downtown Durango. Like most of the reviews says...it's more like an apartment than a hotel. Our unit the "anybody" was equipped with a full kitchenette and even a washer and dryer. Just 2 blocks from the Durango Train. SWEET. We will stay here again hopefully in the near future. read more

Loved this place. We stayed Wednesday and Thursday nights in the Somebody Room. Large room with a kitchenette, couch, TV, and big comfy bed. We had a private bathroom across the hall with everything you could need. The fascinating decor made it feel a little like a movie set. Quiet and private, we didn't see a single other person there while we stayed. The location is central so we parked the car in one of the 2 spots in the back and walked everywhere we went. Just memorize that code you need to get in or have it handy on your phone so you don't get locked out! read more

My husband, one year old daughter and I stayed here on a whim when we arrived in Durango one night earlier then we originally planned and loved it! We stayed in the Everybody and it was perfect for our family! It really was just like staying in a friends apartment, super cozy, clean, full kitchen and having a bedroom to put baby down for the night while we cooked dinner was great! The bed was comfortable too! Brendan was so friendly and quick to respond to our questions, and the self check-in/check-out is really a cool business model! Stayed in "Somebody's Inn" overlooking Main Street, which thrilled my daughter...I am feeling generous today with a 4 star rating. My experience was bad. We should have been warned about the noise from the college bar across the street. Incredibly noisy with yelling, cursing and very loud music with the bass turned up very high. I could even hear it in our private bathroom across the hall.I lost 4.5 hours of sleep between 10 and 2:30 when the place shut down. I had been looking forward to staying there for a long time, but sadly I will not return. Beware ! If you need a quiet night in THIS room. Reserve a room further down the hall. read more

Super fun place in a great location. The front entrance drops right on to a main road and you can walk to so much. There is no on-site parking but the public lot is just up the street and you will want to get out anyway. "Everybody" has plenty of room. Four adults and I felt like I could get away from the others. Not enough towels for four of us but we made do. The TV is in a very weird spot and that is my main complaint. Local chocolates and teas in the room upon arrival was a nice touch. I appreciated the little hall sitting area with candies and the story of how this place came to be. Oh, and they have journals in the room for comments which was fun to read through. This is the most amazing, beautiful, and unique boutique hotel! So affordable and I was completely shocked at what our room was...it wasn't a room, it was basically an apartment! Bedroom, living room, bathroom and a bedroom! They have plates, dishes, pots and pans. EVERYTHING is there for you! There was no front desk, you call, set up your accommodations and go to you room and check out the next day, all do it yourself! I can't say enough about this place, we absolutely loved it and will stay every time we go through Durango! read more

What a fun surprise, an anniversary gift from our daughter. Love the concept. We were the "only bodies" there and felt completely comfortable. Main street was lively for late March. We had the Main Street room "Somebody" and were glad we always travel with ear plugs. But it settled right down and we slept in a very comfortable king sized bed. Able to walk anywhere, which was great after the wedding reception 3 blocks away. Brilliant concept.
