I politely requested a mix of Swedish and deep tissue massage, and the employee reacted by laughing at me and speaking to me in a very condescending way, as if my request was stupid. The interaction felt rude and unprofessional from the beginning. She interrupted me while I was answering questions and treated me with impatience and disrespect the entire time. I came in hoping to fix my back pain and walked out frustrated and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place based on the way I was treated as a customer.

My surgeon recommended Shaira at Solo Wax for the lymphatic massages and the maderotherapy. She also treats seromas and adhesions which are very common after surgeries. The entire staff is discreet and the premises are pristine and safe. I came in, in extreme pain from the surgery, bloated with excess water, and Shaira made the bloating go away. Within three months of daily visits, I was not bloated and my lymphatic system resumed working. She also incorporates cavitation ultrasound therapy, and it made a huge difference. She also monitors the wounds and ensures they don't get infected. She is a licensed nurse in the US and in Europe, so you are in good hands. The maderotherapy is to break down the adhesions that may form when your tissues are healing. It works. I couldn't bend or stretch backwards, and Shaira fixed it so that now I can do yoga or even reach out to upper shelves or just stretch in general without pain. I love the waiting area. It is this neutral minimalist clean palette that just calms you down. You want to be there all day. No pop music, no staff members gossiping or talking smack about clients. Just pure calmness. There is a pharmacy next to the salon, and a wawa across the street. Plenty of parking in the back, and also besides the pharmacy. If you are having tummy tuck, ask for Shaira.

I'm glad I didn't buy it, as it came out to be about the same price. I didn't have any trouble reaching them to make this appointment, and they called me to confirm beforehand as well. I was offered tea while filling out my paperwork, and it came in a french press with a dried date on the side. The whole process was a lot more relaxing than I had anticipated. I've gotten microneedling before, at both dermatology offices as well as at medi spas. This is a regular spa but they were meticulous with sanitation--I could hear her opening new items and changing her gloves every time she had to touch something, like when answering the phone. She started by cleaning my face, and then applying a mild chemical peel and extracted a bunch of stuff from my pores with a scraping tool. I had never had this done before a microneedling--it was like a mini facial. I even got a neck massage while the chemical peel was setting in. After this she applied a numbing cream in order to prep my face for the microneedling. This was the only issue I had, which was kind of a big one. She didn't leave it on for very long, not even ten minutes from what I could estimate. Maybe the cream wasn't very strong. But because of that, this was the most uncomfortable microneedling I've ever had. So I would suggest in the future to either leave the cream on longer, or use something a bit stronger. After the process was done, a gel mask was applied, which calmed the redness temporarily. I was given instructions for care at home as well as an ampoule and a thicker gel to aid in the healing process. The experience was much more than I had expected, and I definitely think it was worth the money.

I had the occasion to visit Lenore's for waxing services. She seemed quite nice and personable. Her…read morefee was very good and that's what enticed me to use her services. Upon arrival at her salon in Bound Brook NJ I was surprised that this didn't seem like a going business. It was dark, dirty and in a state of disorganization. The waxing room didn't appear to be a place where one would feel comfortable disrobing for this type of service. My heart was telling me to just leave and chalk it off to a potential bad experience avoided. I persevered and stayed. I disrobed and lied down on her waxing table. She stated the process of waxing. She didn't seem to have an organized and methodical system of waxing different areas to insure each area was completely hair free after the process. She started using an electric trimmer. She stated that it was to shorten the hairs and that each area would be waxed afterwards. That didn't happen! The end result was some areas were waxed and most were not. They were shaven with her electric hair trimmer. She made a statement that her price was a good deal. I never made any issue over her fee! All in all I would never return to Lenore's for this or any service. My advice to all is; spend more money at another salon which seems like it is an ongoing business and have this service done by an operator who is knowledgeable and has a proven technique so that afterwards all hair has been removed by waxing and not a combination of waxing and an electric razor.

Tiffany was a good manager and good masseuse as well. Anna asked why I even considered going to another spa. The only thing I could think of was because I didn't think you were working today. She sneered and proceeded to ply her trade. Another great massage.
