Lauren, the receptionist, is the absolute sweetest--we always have great conversations while I wait. When I first started coming to EWC, I had a waxer who made my first experience so comfortable. She was kind and patient, which really helped since I didn't know what to expect. When she moved on to open her own salon, I began seeing Ashley, and she's been absolutely wonderful. Ashley is incredibly professional and detail-oriented. I usually get my eyebrows, upper lip, sideburns, and chin waxed, and she always preps my skin thoroughly before starting. Afterward, she makes sure to remove any leftover wax residue and finishes by filling in my brows using one of their products--they always look amazing when she's done. I really do love the Asian massage places and actually prefer them over the large chains that mention membership while rubbing your back. Honestly not much English is spoken, but that's fine because there does exist a mutual understanding. But in this case, it seemed like there was a mutual mis-understanding. The price list said that $60 was for 60 minutes, $90 was 90, etc. I chose 90 minutes and asked if I could use my debit card. They said yes, but it would be an additional $7 charge. I figured fine, I was in pain. It was an ok massage, definitely nothing special, but when I tried to communicate with her she really, really didn't understand what I was saying. So I gave her what I thought she deserved as a tip (I'm usually a great tipper, but also fair), and she shook her head and told me that for a $97.00 massage, she wanted twice as much. I think she understood the expression on my face when I walked out.

I instantly found out the reason why is because my appointed was immediately sent confirmed to my iPhone, with the date, time and what I was having done. This is great! Again, everything was spotless! 'I COULD EAT OFF THE FLOORS." This is very important when choosing a wax place, and there's absolutely "NO DOUBLE DIPPING." The second thing I liked was she uses a type of BLUE HARD WAX. There are no strips to pull it off..Its great for SENSITIVE SKIN. The wax is kept at a perfect temperature and I never got red, like when they use the strips to pull off the wax. Sammy explained STEP BY STEP what she was doing, and music was playing in the background.. One thing that Sammy does that I found very interesting is she waxes the outer part of your nostrils ( there is a small charge.) The wax is molded into shapes this can only be done with hard wax.. I decided to try it.. I couldn't believe how much better I could breath.. I must say Sammy did a wonderful job and I am completely satisfied!!! My eyebrows look great! Sammy even explained what areas needed to let fill in.. Afterwards I decided to use her restroom that too was IMMACULATE! BARE BIZZ WAXING is the place to come for all your waxing needs..
