Since the house is older, the stairs are creaky and that was a bit distracting (hence the lost star). Dorota performed my service and she was excellent. She applied the right amount of pressure during the massage portion and had the perfect touch during the facial. I truly enjoyed my time at Healing Hands. I am eager to see my results and return again!

Call ahead to set up an appointment - be prepared to wait a few days. Before your massage they let you choose an essential oil scent for the duration of your visit. My boyfriend and I came in for a 2 hour couples facial and massage and it was such a blissful experience. After your facial they will recommend to you what your skin is lacking. They are a bit pushy with sales and packages, just so youre aware. After the service they offer you infused water and sweets. They also sell GM Collins which is a phenomenal skin care brand that you can only get through spas and its one of my favorite brands so im so happy that they carry it!

You are very tight" I didn't think anything at first. But then during the hour long Swedish massage she says two more times "you have big muscles" my bf says he felt uncomfortable. And hearing such a comment more than once becomes disrespectful. They kept pushing for deep tissue massage for the extra $30 charge. And since it was a Groupon deal there is a sign saying tips should range from $10-$20. As soon as you get the register they put out envelopes for tips to be added right away.

My surgeon recommended Shaira at Solo Wax for the lymphatic massages and the maderotherapy. She also treats seromas and adhesions which are very common after surgeries. The entire staff is discreet and the premises are pristine and safe. I came in, in extreme pain from the surgery, bloated with excess water, and Shaira made the bloating go away. Within three months of daily visits, I was not bloated and my lymphatic system resumed working. She also incorporates cavitation ultrasound therapy, and it made a huge difference. She also monitors the wounds and ensures they don't get infected. She is a licensed nurse in the US and in Europe, so you are in good hands. The maderotherapy is to break down the adhesions that may form when your tissues are healing. It works. I couldn't bend or stretch backwards, and Shaira fixed it so that now I can do yoga or even reach out to upper shelves or just stretch in general without pain. I love the waiting area. It is this neutral minimalist clean palette that just calms you down. You want to be there all day. No pop music, no staff members gossiping or talking smack about clients. Just pure calmness. There is a pharmacy next to the salon, and a wawa across the street. Plenty of parking in the back, and also besides the pharmacy. If you are having tummy tuck, ask for Shaira.
