It already started melting before we even sat down (and it was not a hot night). Some flavours were also questionable, like the avocado. We ended up going with the safer options: espresso and salted caramel. Caramel is fine but we couldn't get over some weird chunks in the espresso. Now onto the service. The staff was not paying attention and a quick conversation about the order had to be repeated a few times. But what we observed and heard was a blatant safety violation. While scooping, the cup fell back into the freezer and landed on another gelato (I.e. one gelato fell into another gelato flavour). They took that cup aside and scooped a new cup. But I overheard the discussion between the employees on what to do and they said they would be scooping the gelato back into the tray to be sold on the next day. This is disgusting and unsanitary. I won't come back after hearing what they said.
