I said that I wasn't sure and the doctor said a nurse would come check in but no one did. She then shrugged again and said, "well if that's what the doctor said..." Why would she feel the need to say that to me since she's not even the front desk receptionist who takes the payment?? Long story short, certain remedies work for some people's types of balding and certain remedies don't work for other people's types of balding. Then after getting the consultation from the second doctor I did my own research and found that I indeed did not need the steroid remedies he gave me since I did not have typical male pattern balding (androgenic alopecia). When I left the appointment with the second doctor, he had himself a pitiful laugh his with his staff when I was on my way out the door after seeing him, explaining to his staff that another doctor gave me steroid injections for my hair when I didn't even need it.
