Obviously not the answer I wanted to hear, but I appreciated his honesty. No charge for the assessment; no attempt to convince me to spend hundreds of dollars for replacement parts. Just the plain, hard truth (something all-too-lacking in America today). His parting advice was to go for an Intel processor instead of AMD next time. This guy is My Guy from now on.
