I no longer go to NV Cleaners. For years, I enjoyed their service. Unfortunately, my last visit was my final visit because they ruined two of my blouses. They're both ladies' dress shirts: button down with a collar. There were stains on the tips of each collar. When I asked about them, I was told that it was the way my blouses are made and they refused to give me a refund or pay for replacing my blouses. I purchased an expensive Tommy Bahama shirt last month. The next day (or so) I took it into this place to have it cleaned. I picked it up, took it home and hung it in my closet. Last night I pulled it out to wear to dinner with my wife and she noticed what appeared to be burn marks down the side. I took it back this morning to talk to them about it and was flatly refused any compensation. The counter guy kept saying it was "oil stains". Bullshit. Overpriced terrible customer service I literally only went in there for them to get rid of the tiny stain and they still had the audacity to charge me full price on some thing that they didn't even clean correctly go somewhere else this place is awful. Envy cleaners always does an amazing job on our clothes but today they went above and beyond... I dropped off some clothes about 35 days ago because I was moving I completely forgot to go pick them up. When I showed up today not only did they greet me with a smile and a bundle of fresh clean clothes they also advised me that there was something left in my pocket that I was completely unaware of... It was $167. They could have very easily stolen this money and I would've been none the wiser. Instead they were honest and gave it back to me in an envelope and I couldn't be more grateful! I went to this dry cleaner and brought 3 very expensive silk dresses all from the same brand. I went to pick them up and two of the dresses were fine but one shrank significantly and had what appeared to be burn marks on the sides and a hole. I know that I did not leave these stains on this dress or the hole and brought the dress in to be looked at hoping for a possible refund because the dress was ruined. They did not even offer a refund for at least paying to have the dress dry cleaned and just basically said there was nothing they can do about any of the damage they did. They tried to turn it around as if I was the one who left the damage as if I wouldn't have noticed it before I dropped it off. It's not a coincidence that the stains and hole happened to be on the same dress they also shrank while the other two were fine. I am extremely unhappy and will not be coming back. read more

Nevada Cleaners washes away bad service. The few minutes that I spent in Nevada Cleaners, outstanding service and talent saved me from having to buy a new winter cold. Recently my zipper went of track which led to the problem of it failing to zip. Not good when the weather is 45 degrees in Las Vegas while I am suffering from the flu. I have never suffered from being unaware of my surroundings. On my walks to Trader Joe's and Mothership Coffee, I noticed that between two of the entrances to Green Valley Parkway South of Sunset Road that there is a large cleaners. How could I not notice it with the drive thru lane? When I walked into Nevada Cleaners, I stepped inside a large room with racks of cleaned clothes and alteration tools to the left. An L-shaped counter separated me from the sights of the room. On the other side of the counter two friendly women immediately fixed the jacket zipper problem. Their alteration magic brought the zipper back to life. The best part was that they passed over charging me for their work. I would return to Nevada Cleaners. They could of easily told me that I would have to leave my jacket with them then charge me. I appreciate honesty that goes along with a talent that cleans a problem. read more

This is my go-to dry cleaning place. They do a fabulous job with my clothes and their customer service is top notch. I once accidentally left some cash in my pants pocket- they put it in an envelope to give back to me when I picked my dry cleaning up. I've been coming here for a long time (I live 2 minutes away), so they know my name, my car, they know how I like my clothes. Sure, I pay a little more than I would if I took my clothes somewhere else, but the personal service and quality are more than worth the few dollars difference in price. read more

We dropped off a long jacket for dry cleaning last week and were quoted a price of $13-$15 by the gentleman that worked the counter in the morning. When we picked it up today, the price jumped up to $27.00. When we asked why, we were advised that the person in the morning only gives out estimates and if we want a "real price" we would have to wait until this girl arrives at 8:30, rather than come in at 8am when they open. I stated that it wasn't fair to give out an estimate and then jack up the price just because "the right person" wasn't there to give "the right price".. begrudgingly she finally apologized and kept saying we had to come in at 8:30 to get the right price. How were we to know what time to come in to get an accurate estimate? The store opens at 8am. If that's the case then she (the girl with special accurate pricing powers) should get there at 8am when they open or train the gentleman on how to accurately quote a piece of clothing, or not accept clothing until she gets there at 8:30 and put that on the website. Ridiculous. We feel totally taken advantage of- this is a bad business doing bad business. Look out for karma, shop owner!!! Also, when we got home we saw that we now have a button missing, so now we have look for a tailor as well as a new dry cleaners. read more

NV Cleaners has won me over and is now my go-to dry cleaning business. I'd been using another dry cleaning place for awhile, but they started getting a little sloppy on the level of starch used (sometimes none, sometimes a ton). So, I checked around on Yelp and found that this place had consistently high reviews. Thanks Yelpers. You nailed it this time. NV Cleaners did an excellent job with everything I brought them. I walked in with about 15 dress shirts, some with "ring around the collar" staining and at least 1-2 with a coffee stain on the front. The staff let me know right off the bat that the coffee stains would be hard to get out. They said the coffee spots would end up a little lighter or darker than the color of the shirt after the treatment. I told them to go ahead and try and they did a great job. The coffee-soiled white shirts came out looking great with the former-coffee spots just slightly lighter than the rest of the shirt. That's a win in my book. And the collars on the shirts came back clean and looking new with the right amount of starch applied. I'm a big fan of this place. They've won a regular customer. read more

I've only been here once, but it was a perfect experience. The drive through is amazing. I did fluff and fold which is hard to find around here so it's natural that it's about 75cents more a lb here than most. Clothes were ready on time same day. And they gave them to me in an awesome thick clear plastic laundry thing with handles. Both guys that came out to help me had great friendly professional demeanor. I came here with 5 shirts for laundering and dropped off slightly after 7am. I told the counter girl about one shirt that my cat decided to use as a bed and had cat hair...no issue. Then an hour later I got a call stating they couldn't launder 4 of my shirts due to cat hair and allergies......so if you have pets you might want to go elsewhere. They did launder my hawaiian shirt and it came out great. Price was $7.40. The dress shirts were going to be $4 each, luckily I went to Four Seasons where they were 1/2 that price. I hardly ever write reviews but I felt the job they did deserved a review. Background: I came to Henderson on 30 day work detail so brought a large amount of clothes hoping it would last me all month and not have to worry about washing clothes. Well it didn't last me a month so I needed to wash. The hotel I was staying at didn't provide laundry services so I needed to find a place that would do more than just dry clean, thus I needed "wash and fold." I went to two places that said they didn't do that type of service so was about to go spend money on detergent & fabric softener, get coins, and find a laundry place. Then found this place. Review: They took my two bags of clothes with no issue. Super friendly staff. I came back the next day after work and went through their drive thru. They brought out my nicely folded up clothes in a clear bag for me to see my items without me having to get out my car. All of my clothes organized I might add. They even went as far as to matched all the socks together. My dress socks and workout socks were separated. Larger under shirts and sweaters on the bottom. The convince of this place is definitely worth it and I would recommend to anyone needing laundry services that go beyond the normal dry cleaning. read more

All I can say is Eco Clean! I only dry clean one article of clothing nowadays, which is a beautiful, designer wool coat purchased years ago at Dillard's and it has gone to NV Cleaners the last 2 falls due to my former Eco Clean dry cleaner closing up shop. They are a bit pricey for the Vegas area ($15.25), but it's worth it for a coat that I wear most of the winter and that doesn't stink like chemicals. This shop is a little far from me, but I really lucked out this year as I got caught in a traffic jam near the Strip on a Friday night and showed up at 7:05 pm and even though they were technically closed, the young woman there let me in to pick up my coat. Took Pottery Barn drapes To be dry cleaned. The previously 108 Inch drapes are now 100 inches. They have been unresponsive to calls for several days. Finally I took the shrunken drapes in yesterday. They said they'd re-clean and try to stretch. Called today and they have done nothing. UPDATE. The cleaner is now offering to pay for new drapes. I don't have a lot of experience with cleaners. This is the only place I have used, so this review might be biased... I have been using this for about 8 months now. They are always very friendly. And the couple time I have needed alterations they are perfect. I have not had a single problem with their work... However, I don't understand their pricing, it is so frustrating! I never know what it's going to cost. I have started asking for an itemized receipt and even that is confusing. They need to have clearly listed prices for their items. (eg: Blouses $x.xx Slacks $x.xx etc.) Then if they need to charge extra for a stain or something then list that too. I want to know they are charging me correctly and it's frustrating not knowing the breakdown. read more

The items I had dry cleaned turned out fine but I was not happy with the items I had tailored. I had a suit jacket and pants tailored. The jacket sleeves were not tailored to the same length and are visibly uneven. The pants had two seems that were ripped and needed to be repaired but only one of the rips was repaired despite me pointing out that there were two. The lady working the register was nice but I won't come back. Paid $79 for sloppy work. read more

So I been here a few times and very upset about my last visit. I bought in an item that had a LITTLE vomit on it and was told that I had to scrub off the loose food myself before they can put it in the machine which is understandable. So I did that and bought it back the next day then she tells me, she can't put it in the machine and that it has to be hand washed. So I bought it somewhere else just to see if they would tell me the same thing but NOOOO, they washed it and it came out fine. Coulda avoided all this by saying she rather not wash that particular item yet I wasted my time driving there 2 days in row. Other than that, their dry cleaning is good. I wish I could comment on the quality of their work, but when I recently called to ask about alterations, the person on the other end of the line basically told me that he doesn't have time to answer my questions. Here's a nearly verbatim transcript of the conversation: Me: "Hi, I need to ask about some alterations to a new suit." NV Cleaners: "I can't really talk about that right now." Me (thinking): "Is it confidential? Do I not have security clearance to address this matter?" Me (saying): "I'm sorry, what do you mean?" NV Cleaners: "I really don't have time to talk about that right now." End of conversation. Everyone has bad days, and maybe it was extraordinarily busy, but good customer service is still something that I value, and it was almost comically absent in this conversation. read more

I've only used them once for a jacket in October 2013. They did a great job of dry-cleaning my jacket and it was ready when they said it would be. Three-star rating stems from the staff not being the friendliest and that they do not accept American Express- my preferred payment method.
