I took my 2012 Jaguar to a Meineke where the manager has done great work on my other cars. I had a…read morelow coolant level warning light, but there was no coolant in the ground. He ran a coolant test and determined that the leak was coming from under the manifold. Jaguar is known to leaks like this. He said that his shop didn't do this work. Because the leak was minor, he suggested I take it to a reputable shop that specializes in these cars, or the dealer. I took the car to EMC where I had acceptable work done previously. I expected a sizable bill for that job. I didn't need to know if there was a leak, or where it might be. I already knew. I drove the car several miles to EMC. When I went to EMC later I was quoted an exorbitant amount for work that included a new water pump and several hoses. But that's not the worse part. I was strongly cautioned not to drive anymore by EMC, and after AAA towed it home I understood why. Hoses near the radiator were were busted and coolant poured out like a busted hydrant. The only explanation for this is that EMC caused more damage by over-pressurizing the system. The two water pipes under the manifold have been replaced. The most difficult to reach, the crossover pipe, was replaced with an aluminum upgrade. I shouldn't have any leaks, but the coolant just pours out. EMC must think I'm stupid, but I am a trained mechanic from way back. I pulled manifold and did that work myself. EMC needs to step up and fix the mess they caused. I filed a case with the DMV against them, and the next step is Small Claims if they are still unwilling to accept responsibility. This type.of conduct is what gives auto shops a bad name!

I had installed the n2itive parts already when I brought it in. Even though they weren't busy, he still took great care and had the alignment done in under 30 minutes--about 45 minutes total including a test drive. The car now drives perfectly straight, with both camber and toe dialed in just right. Also I got paper work before and after alignment. It did not cost me a lot like the other shops that wanted close to $300. I paid $180 for the alignment!( thank you Yoshi ) The shop is very professional, and the service was fast and smooth. The mechanics were polite and easy to talk to. I also loved seeing all the JDM cars they had--R32s, R33s, and even an '86 and MR2. It felt like stepping back into the 1990s. Communication is super easy. I contacted Asian Imports Plus through text last week to see if I can bring in my car for a weird noise every time I accelerated or stop. My husband and I weren't sure if it was from getting my car repaired a few weeks prior from this shop. They were very accommodating and told me to bring in my car last Friday. It turned out to be that my brake pad was worn down to a certain limit and needed a few hours to repair. Then I got a call that one of the bolts broke during the repair and needed to be replaced as well. Because it was a Friday (and they're closed on the weekends), it had to be done on Monday. They explained to me they wanted to make sure everything was completed right and safe for me and my family. As promised, my car was ready Monday for pick up. My car runs smoothly with no issues now. Unfortunately, this is a full mechanic shop, so smog customers appear to have to wait behind vehicles being serviced for oil changes and other mechanical work. When I arrived, I was told the smog check would take about 10 minutes. After waiting longer than expected, I had to ask for an update and was then told they still had not gotten to my vehicle because they needed to finish other oil changes first. At that point, I decided to leave rather than continue waiting. A smog check itself only takes a few minutes, so I would not recommend this location if you are using a Groupon and expecting a quick, convenient smog test. They may be fine for other mechanical services, but my biggest issue was being given an unrealistic expectation about the wait time from the beginning. It ended up wasting my time and the trip there.
