We test drove for couple of miles and appeared to be fine. Within the short two years I have had the Mercedes I have had to the following problems & had them fixed at Fletcher Jones Mercedes. The transmission, The A/C, The pulleys and NOW have a heat deviation which requires the removal of the entire engine and is going to cost $12,000!! I bought a 2014 toyota camry LE. Yeah I had to go fix the car up a bit but got it for $12,000! That's well below MSRP. I just needed go align it, get some new wheels, a new battery, and that's it. Hasn't given me any more problems. I bought it 7 months ago. There's a slight funky smell that comes from the AC that I gotta get checked out and get some new brake pads. But overall the car is good. And DO NOT purchase their warranty either because it's just as bootleg as their whole operation. If you have thousands of dollars to throw away then go right ahead and purchase a car from them but if you're in the market for a good used car steer clear of this GHETTO BOOTLEG RAGGEDY car dealership. Ugh UPDATE! It is now 6 months later and I'm still finding out information about this car! It had oil leaks when I purchased it and those leaks are what caused all of the other issues with the car. 1 month after having the car I had to replace the water pump, ($700+)there were leaks in the upper and lower oil pans, 2 months later I had to replace a drive belt. Now 2 months after that I'm finding out that because of the oil leaks I have to replace the water pump and many other issues to the tube of $4000+. I only paid 8,999 for the car. Now I take the blame for not doing my due diligence and getting the car looked at before I purchased it however these people have no shame in selling pieces of crap cars to people. read more

These guys are the worst I've ever seen. In addition to advertising vehicles they don't even own, they advertise vehicles that aren't on their property. I called about the vehicles (two in particular) that are on their website and that they've advertised on the web on other pages. "Jack" told me he'd be pleased to show them to me. Ten minutes after my call, he called to tell me he'd be leaving for the day, but wrote my name down so that he'd get credit for any sale on the lot. Drove 45 mins to this place, where a salesman behaved very strangely when I told him which vehicles I wanted to see. He called over the manager (George), who informed me "Those vehicles aren't even in Nevada. You should have asked. I explained I'd called in advance to ask about them, and Jack had indicated the vehicles were ready to show. George replies that "Jack is new here" and walks away. Why on earth would someone ask if a vehicle was in the same state, when it's advertised on their lot, and there are photos of it on their lot? The place looks like a junkyard and the people that work there look (and dress) like criminals. Avoid avoid, avoid. read more

Well this is a USED car shop. It was busy when we came. It is a family owed lot with husband/wife and a mechanic. We were interested in a BMW they had out front. They let us test drive by ourselves which was great. We ended up liking the vehicle. They did not let us negotiate at all. I am a pretty experienced negotiator and they were not having it. We pretty much purchased the vehicle at full sticker price. The car ran great for a while but then having plenty of problems a couple weeks later including radiator leak, bad window regulator, airbag light came on. Luckly we did purchase a small warranty that will help us with these things to get the car in shape. It is a really nice car and we really like it. They will provide carfax report which is nice. Just dont think you can work these people down, cause like I said they expect to get full sticker price on their vehicles. read more

That wasn't the first clk I've inspected.. Others had major problems that the dealer wasn't even aware of... In short, great place to buy a car from. They have lied stating that I bought the car (so I thought, after I added insurance and drove it off the lot) and after signing the papers a couple weeks later, desert auto sales demanded an extra 500.00. But, in the end they took the vehicle back and they didn't want to refund me the entire down payment because they didn't charge me for the miles (so they say) I've used. First of all... they gave me the vehicle and accepted the down payment of 3500.00, the bank had sent me my first months payment but they never demanded an extra 400.00. It was Desert auto sales who wanted the 400.00 for themselves. First of all I think they don't have an actual bank they work with as far as finance goes. I bought a vehicle outright from this dealership last November. My Title was stolen within 48 hours of purchase, and almost a year later they still will not help me. I have tried everything. Nevada DMV, Arizona DMV, Attorney Generals in both states, Manheim the auction they claim they got my car from, and the Nevada DMV compliance office. ALL of these people told me Desert Auto Sales is supposed to get me a replacement Title. After all, they heavily profited off of the 2016 Toyota Camry I gave to them as my trade-in. I bought my first car from them 2 and half years ago. It is a 2006 BMW X3. Car itself was in good shape. The first week we had it the back passenger window stopped working. Took it back and they replaced the bracket. 2 weeks later it broke again. They fixed it again. About 5 months later it broke again and it's remained that way. I was actually still happy with the dealer over all till I bought a second car from them back in December. Boy did I make a mistake. I bought a used 2005 Merced E500 the car looked nice and ran good. When I first took the car I came back the next day because car seemed to lean to the right. Martin the owner said the front tire was just low. So they put air in it and I left. 1 weeks later the check engine light went on I took it back to them and they said it was taken care of. All they did was reset the computer to turn off the light. Still to this day the check engine light is still on. The worst part is that they sold me a car knowing that the front right strut which is air suspension was broken all along. I went back to see if they could hook it up to the computer to tell me exactly what it was so I could look for part some lady that I have never seen told me they would charge me $75 to have it checked out. Anyhow my car is leaning really bad and it turns out both right struts are no good and it cost about 2k to get it fixed. Thanks a lot Desert Auto. Do not buy a car here they buy cars that are all messed up from auctions then they Mickey Mouse them so they can sell them to poor people like us who don't have great credit. read more

But when you got to looking it had been wrecked the Carfax it was the one owner was not the right VIN and had in been Photoshoped on there. Even though the vehicle was used...it was in MINT condition, shiny on the outside, clean throughout the inside, and was a smooth ride with no weird noises of any kind. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! I purchased a car from them in August. Within 1 week of having the vehicle I had to replace the motor mounts. I was told by Martin, the owner, that this is normal wear and tare. After making 3 monthly payments and making sure my car was insured a year in advance I had vandalism to my vehicle in November and my insurance sent me a check to repair my car. When I took the check to Desert Auto Sales the owner Martin took the check from me and told me he was going to hold it and we would cash it to get my car fixed. He LIED!!! Martin cashed the check without me and kept the money. I ended up repairing my car with my own money to the tune of almost $2000. I spoke with Martin and his "partner"/ Girlfriend Daniella and it was decided upon that since Desert Auto had kept the check for the repair to my car the money would be for advance payments towards my car payments. This ALL turned out to be a LIE! At the end of December on New Years Eve Desert Auto decided to repossess my car. To date they have sent me ONE letter asking me for $8500. This letter was unsigned and had several blank spots telling me my car will be auctioned off if I did not give Desert Auto the money they requested. I did try several times to call and speak with Martin and to get all my items out of the car and my money back. I was told that he was out of the country. I decided to go down to the office and see what could done in person. To my surprise Martin was NOT out of the country but standing in the parking lot. To this date I have never seen my car again. I have lost all items out of the car. I am out over $4000 in repair and rental car fees. I lost my job due to no reliable transportation. And my car is nowhere to be found. The car came with all kind of problems oil leaks, coolant leaks.. which ultimately lead the engine to seize. After talking to the owner all he came up with is that its my fault for why the car didn't have enough fluids. I suggest you get the car inspected yourself before you even buy from this funky ass dealership. Horrible place. Shady salesman Joseph and his finance manager rushed me out at closing because they wanted to go home. He lied about the price of the car, took a deposit they wouldn't return to me, and never put the price of the car on the deposit receipt. They refused to return my deposit after they ran my credit check and never once looked at or took my paperwork. I told them I didn't want to do business with such scumbags who lie. The other dealers I went to said to report them to the DMV because they are unethical and should be investigated. Apparently the DMV has a branch that does just that. So I am. Joseph told me he needs to get paid for his time and he 'gave me the whole pitch he gives everyone.' But he forgot he told me to leave and we'd finish Monday because he wanted to close up and he was in a hurry and he actually didn't do his usual pitch. Sloppy work, Joe. Shady business. I don't know if this was a legitimate mistake or whether it was intentional. I went to look at diesel truck that was priced very low. When I checked the oil. it is was several quarts low. After adding 3 quarts and then starting the truck, it leaked like a sieve. They were not concerned about it and were not going to fix it because they had more buyers on the way for the vehicle. Several items simply did not work correctly. Do your homework and look the vehicle over from top to bottom. read more
