They are a lot like those of an economy airline - petty and arbitrary. For example, if you discontinue anything, whether it's a class, spa appointment, family memberships, or personal training, you will likely be billed for extras months/sessions you did not want or use, along with change fees and other random nickel-and-dime items. They already command premium membership dues for their top-notch facility, so I just don't understand why they think this is necessary. But, as long as you avoid all the extras, it's a fine place to work out.

Little did I know he wasn't lowering the price he was simply selling me less sessions (which he never mentioned until the end when I asked) So my advice is if you want to do business here make sure you're reading all the small print in your contracts.

However, not only did they charge me the $15 to come, they then told me I'm not allowed to bring my child because I'm not a paying member. Well I just paid and how can I decide that I want to be a member if they don't let me bring my child to try. And then to top it all off they "don't process refunds themselves" they have to send it out to corporate to process the refund. So long story short, if you have kids, don't waste your time. Get a membership to Paul Derda and you'll be much happier.

Idk how the old management was, but this gym is always clean and organized. I rarely, if ever, have to wait for equipment at any point in the day, and this is the same for the 5-7pm "rush." This gym has the largest variety of equipment I've seen and plenty of it. And to top it off, it's very reasonably priced, no annual fees or 12-month long agreements like most gyms. I love this gym. What I also like about Hyland Fit are their HUUUUGE accessible fitness rooms (3 plus the main 2 gyms) with tons of equipment, massive locker rooms with couches and actual sitting areas vs. a bleacher. Also, there's steam rooms and a dry sauna, all kinds of fitness classes included. This is definitely a much higher end gym without the huge cost!

This gym offers a traditional CrossFit class, but they also offer a competitive class, a strength class, as well as a Flex class (similar to a CF boot camp style). What has really given this gym 5 stars is the fact that they have offered skills clinics (jump rope and gymnastics) - which has exponentially helped me in these aspects of my training. Brandon and Marka have created something really cool here, and in a world where CrossFit has gotten way too serious about what it is (exercise), they've kept it fun. That's a great thing. In terms of space, CrossFit Crossroads isn't the biggest CrossFit gym you've ever seen, but it's super clean, well-organized, and the rig is great. It's all the space you need. And really, I think the smaller size is a really good thing. When gyms are too big, it's inherently harder to get to know people, and there are a lot of cool people here that you'd want to meet here. Best of all, they really care about all aspects of fitness at Crossroads. They want you to have fun getting fit, learning how to move well, and challenging yourself along the way. Good programming and a positive atmosphere are things that separate one CrossFit gym from another, and they have buttloads of both of those things here.
