The food here is good - bet on it - as are the drinks. Several flavors of tea are available, lotsa lattes, coffee, soda, and water (this might not be an exhaustive list). The staff here is wonderful! There's that "local coffee shop vibe." Very nice and I stopped going to other coffee shops even though this one is about 1.5mi further from my house than the nearest chain store location. It's well worth the extra few minutes. Lastly, I've introduced friends to this place, ergo I highly recommend it!

    Eating area!

Friendly staff, drinks were good, but breakfast sandwich was bland, overcooked eggs, and bacon did not taste fresh.

Wow! What a gem! My daughter recommended the Nutmeg Cafe since she wanted to try it out for the longest time. We made a lunch date - and here we were. The cafe doesn't look much from the outside but is super pretty. The staff soo nice!!!!! The food is sheer amazing. We both ordered a salad. It was so fresh and sooo delicious! I also opted for an order for a cup of squash soup- it was heaven on earth!

Yum! Met a client at Nutmeg this morning. It was the first visit for both of us and we were delighted! I had a jasmine tea, which was wonderful. The client ordered a Millionaire Bar and made me eat half...and I was okay with that! Definitely too rich for breakfast. I will be back!

The pictures on Google make this cafe look super old but I was really surprised that everything is very modern and cute in person! Farmhouse sandwich was gigantic with fluffy soft eggs. It was thoughtful that they served the cappuccino with a piece of chocolate like in Italy. Nutmeg steamer was 12/10! Sweet but not too sweet for those who lean away from coffee. I'm glad the money went to a family business that puts so much energy into their work.

It's a little hidden and hard to spot. It's worth looking for though. New place that opened up at the shopping center next to the paint store (same side as McDonalds and across street from Kroger). The coffee was spot on and it's good to see another local coffee shop that's not a Starbucks. It was a little busy so that's a good sign, but help support this local business. Again, it's hard to see and the signage isn't the most conspicuous. We wouldn't have noticed it if we weren't shopping for paint.

A favorite for brunch, we booked dinner for a Friday night. Phenomenal experience celebrating the holidays with a small group of family and friends. We already loved Table 33 for lunch or brunch, but had never experienced their dinner menu.... Now, it's our favorite Dayton-area restaurant for any meal, snack, or cocktail. (Do not sleep on their wine list though, fabulous assortment and available for retail purchase) Friday night dinner reservations and we were floored with the recent dining room updates - including new dining venues off a hallway, each with its own unique decor (including a unique chandelier in each) and a truly decadent and unexpectedly private environment. Seating for 4 and above in the varying spaces. After dinner, we booked the guaranteed add-on table reservation at the adjacent venue, 'The Dessert Room'. A well-appointed room with a European decor and upbeat music settles you in for a delightful list of desserts, from gelato and macarons to pies and cakes, and a nice coffee, port, wine, or cocktail menu. The service is amazing. The food and cocktails, phenomenally good. The venue? Truly gorgeous. The owner is reinventing another adjacent property next to 'The Dessert Room', currently a mix of a Mexican fare (bowls, burritos) and tequila. Previously a coffee shop, interested to see what it ends up being to tie these venues together.

A friend who knows that I like to find good little restaurants, many off them beaten path, told me about the restaurant at the General Denver Hotel in Wilmington, OH. We decided to take the short drive from Cincinnati to Wilmington to check it out. This is the kind of place I would consider a HIDDEN GEM. I love that the restaurant is located in an old hotel, in small town. We sat in the bar area ( I think there must be a larger room also). Our waitress was terrific. We weren't finished with our original diet Pepsis when she delivered new drinks. Now the food. It was delicious. We ordered Clam Chowder and we each had a Lamb Burger with home made Saratoga Chips. The Lamb Burgers were out of this world. This is a great little getaway so we will be back!

Unfortunately, the experience was not. The waitress was great on checking in with us and providing drinks, receiving our dinners took over an hour and out of 12 dinners, they were either over cooked, under cooked, or cold. On top of that they had someone else other than our waitress try to bring out the meals and had everyone's order mixed up. Beautiful facility however the service does not meet expectations.

We also go the chorizo a la vodka which was 9/10 We lastly got the cheeseburger which was 7/10, good ingredients but have had better tasting burgers. Everything tasted fresh and was locally sourced. There wasn't anything inherently wrong with our meal at Corner Kitchen but it was just mediocre…read more Perhaps part of the reason is that we went early to try out the Happy Hour they were promoting and we were the only people in the restaurant. The decor looked more drab and like a diner than I expected. I assumed it would be more like the other hip, upscale restaurants in the Oregon District. We started with cocktails, an espresso martini and an old fashioned, that were very good...my husband commented that it was one of the best old fashions he's had in a while. We then ordered 3 small plates from their Happy Hour menu to share. The shrimp and grits were tasty but only 2 shrimp, even for a small plate, seems skimpy. The charcuterie was some grilled bread, a very small amount of cheddar cheese and sliced salami, some jam, and "pickled vegetables" which were grated carrots and two slices of jalapeno in a condiment cup. The poutine was just odd. Instead of a beef gravy and cheese curds on top of fries, it was deconstructed: a bowl of gray mushroom gravy with a small pile of fries and fried cheese curds. Overall, it was a decent meal and the server was good, but I wouldn't choose it above any of the other restaurants in the area.
