I can't believe I have not completed a review for Number One! We have been faithful customers for the last three years. The food is always hot and fresh. We have not had a bad meal. Mei fun, Lo mein, dim sum, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, curry shrimp and veggies are all amazing. The order is always correct and great value considering today's inflation costs. Love this place! Please share photos of your favorites so we can try too!

    Chicken with Broccoli

Ordered the chicken with broccoli, a classic and delicious, hit the spot immediately. Usually I have to order the broccoli well done because it comes too hard, and I forgot to mention it in the delivery, but happy to report, there was no need because it was perfectly cooked, and a good balance between sift and a little crunchy. Service was okay, as delivery came within the hour, but not too shabby for a place approximately 10 minutes away.

This place has good food. The price is on par with area restaurants. Service is fast. The restaurant is clean and the people are friendly. The only drawback is there is no parking behind the restaurant only on the street parking. Municipal parking is available across the street. The chicken wings with pork fried rice is worth the trip.

My typical go-tos are: [Apps] soup dumplings, shiu mai, spicy wontons, vegetable spring roll, shrimp and vegetable pot stick, shrimp dumplings; [Soups] fish rice noodle, spicy fish rice noodle, spicy seafood, Shanghai wonton, shrimp and pork wonton, beef (I forget what it's called - it's the #1 ordered one there); [Mains] beef chow fun, fish fillets with scallions, salt and pepper pork chop, salt and pepper fish, fish fillets in wine sauce, young chow fried rice, and the standard chicken and broccoli. All delish! I think I've been going there long enough as to where they probably know it's me when I call in an order. Highly recommend for authentic Chinese food.

Chicken and Corn soup: Warm, and it hits the middle point of clean and hearty. I was scared that it was gonna be tasteless, but I got enough chicken and corn to not feel that way. Pork Chop: This is another Chinese restaurant staple. 85% of the chinese porkchops that you eat will taste the same. This one is no different. Tofu with Salted Fish: It was fine. The tofu did a good job defusing the saltiness of the fish, and the dish was generally well balanced. Objectively, this is probably one of their better dishes. I just feel that it didn't have the pop that I was looking for. Hot prawn salad with broccoli: The broccoli was just boiled. Nothing to talk about. The pawn was fried and bathed in mayonnaise. What's not to like? Yang Chow Fried Rice: A Chinese restaurant staple. 90% of the Yang Chow Fried Rice that you will eat will taste the same. This one stayed with the majority. Service; It was fine.
