Broward Plumbing - Full construction rebuilding Walmart, Broward Plumbing took upon fall project

    Broward Plumbing

I've been trying to get a plumber to come out or just give me a quote on the new hot water heater…read more I can't even tell you about the first three Plumbers/Companies. I won't even mention their names but they are no longer anyone I would contact. Friday I did an online chat with David Z- we set up an appointment for someone to come out Monday. I thought geez I hope they at least show up!!! Wow I now have a new plumbing company. I am so impressed with BROWARD, plumbing the responsiveness, communication, everything A+++++. And then let's talk about their tech Marvin Rose all I can say, is outstanding!!! I have a new hot water heater, and a company and technician I can depend on!!! And I told them if we need any plumbing services at my office it's definitely going to be Broward Plumbing and Marvin Rose. A breath of fresh air these days. Unfortunately it's hard to find great companies. Glad I did thanks David Z and Marvin Rose.

OVERCHARGED - Be Aware! I hired this company to detect a…read moreleak on a property. I was quoted $375 for the visit, with the promise that if I approved the repair, that amount would be deducted from the final service price. They found a small broken pipe and quoted an outrageous $4,000 for the repair, split into $2,000 upfront and $2,000 upon completion. Because it was an emergency and I didn't have time to get other quotes, I agreed. To my surprise, they charged me the full $4,000 plus the $375 diagnostic fee -- all before starting the work. The work area was left messy, a trash box was abandoned outside the property (never picked up despite promises), and they broke a sprinkler head in the process. I've called David multiple times requesting a refund of the overcharged $375, but still nothing. This was a very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

Amy's Plumbing - Call Amy's plumbing to help with leaks

She came right on time, diagnosed the problem and fixed it in no time! I asked if I could show her 2 other plumbing problems fearing that she would say no because she had a busy schedule that day, to my surprise she happily agreed, took note of my problems, said she would get back to me as soon as she could to schedule another visit. I thought I would have to replace 2 other faucets, but Amy thought she could fix it instead & saving me time and money!! This is not the first time I've called Amy, but I'm still amazed at how knowledgeable and professional Amy is and how quickly she resolves ANY issues I have and I pray that she never retires, because I'll never call any other plumber!! Amy is the BEST!!!

Extremely disappointing experience. I had been using Amy's Plumbing for a while -- they were always…read moreexpensive, but at least upfront with pricing and the work was done as promised. Unfortunately, the most recent job showed a complete change in their ethics and customer care. I called them to fix a leaking bathtub faucet in my guest bathroom. I was presented with two options: * $850 for a 3-handle replacement but requiring a hole in the wall, and * $1,150 for a 1-handle replacement with a clear promise that no hole in the wall would be needed. I agreed to the more expensive option specifically because they guaranteed no wall damage. While I was off the premises, Amy called insisting the plumber needed to be paid immediately before leaving. I paid. When I got home, I found a large hole in the wall in my master bedroom -- the exact thing they promised would not happen. I called Amy right away. Instead of owning the mistake, she blamed "miscommunication," said the plumber should have called me, and then started gaslighting me by claiming the job was "more expensive" and that I should be grateful that they kept the "old price." Absolutely absurd -- especially considering the already outrageous cost. I offered two reasonable solutions: * reduce the cost to the $850 option (the one that did require a hole), or * fix the wall they damaged. She refused both and showed zero interest in resolving the issue. Key points future customers should know: Pricing has become outrageous; greed has replaced fairness. They do not uphold their agreements -- even written or verbal commitments mean nothing here. Customer care is nonexistent. It feels like they have enough clients and simply don't care about losing anyone. If you're looking for an honest, reliable, and ethical plumbing company, this is not it. I never leave reviews like this, but the level of dishonesty and disrespect I experienced deserves to be public. UPDATE / CLARIFICATION: The owner posted a response that unfortunately does not match what actually happened, so I want to clarify a few key facts for anyone reading this. I was originally given two options for replacing my leaking tub faucet: $850 for a 3-handle valve, with a hole in the back wall. $1,150 for a single-handle upgraded valve, with a clear promise that no hole in the wall would be needed. I chose the more expensive option solely because I was told it would avoid cutting into the bedroom wall. However, when I came home, the wall was cut open anyway, and the tiles in the bathroom were also disturbed. I never received a call, no one asked permission, and no one sent photos before opening the wall. The work was done without any notice. The owner now claims that: the tiles "were not disturbed" (they were), I approved additional work because of corrosion (I was never contacted), and that "no one promised the wall wouldn't be opened" (the entire reason for choosing the $1,150 option was exactly that promise). These statements contradict what was discussed before the job started and what I saw afterward. I asked for a fair resolution -- either: * adjust the price to the $850 option, since that's effectively the method they ended up using, or * repair the wall they opened without authorization. Both were refused. I had used this company before when their pricing was high but transparent. This last experience showed a complete change: the price increased into unreasonable territory, the agreement wasn't honored, and decisions were made without my approval, followed by a response that tried to reframe the situation instead of addressing the issue. I stand by my original review. If you value straightforward communication, predictable pricing, and respect for your home, please be cautious here.
