Spoke with Michael and he got me all set up for a Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) that same day. Upon first contact, I knew I made the right choice as he explained the process thoroughly and I was sold. Unfortunately, the report showed a ton of issues with the vehicle and Michael gave me a call explaining everything down to the last problem as well as a detailed report the following day. I was absolutely blown away as I've never received a PPI this detailed. Saved me a headache of driving 2 hours to inspect the car myself. Fast forward to a few days later. I actually ended up finding another vehicle in San Diego yet again and it was a no-brainer; contacted Michael again and he set me up with a second PPI. This car was in absolutely better shape physically and mechanically and he couldn't stress that to me enough. He gave me another detailed report as well as his personal opinion coming from a mechanical background which did help me feel like I was making the right choice. I ultimately ended up purchasing the second vehicle and couldn't be happier! Overall, I would absolutely recommend Maverick Motorworks and have had a beyond pleasant experience with Michael. Just wish his shop was in Los Angeles as I would be more than comfortable taking my car to him for service.

I took it straight to these guys and thank god I did, they found that whoever had the car previously must have had mice and they moved into the engine area. There were chewed areas around the hood, the engine and probably the wiring. Besides the mice damage the car had issues. So we took it back to Carvana. I appreciate their honesty and customer service was amazing, if I replace that Audi I will definitely bring it here. Thanks again for keeping me from making an expensive mistake.

I spent about $5,500 at Integrity Auto Repair on my 2014 Ford Fiesta, including dual-clutch work, a…read morecatalytic converter, battery-related work and other repairs. Unfortunately, the experience became extremely frustrating. About six days after the work, there was an exhaust leak. Johnny initially acknowledged that the front leak was related to the work and said it was repaired under warranty. However, afterward other mechanics told me verbally that the front was still leaking. I was already exhausted from repeatedly going back and forth to the shop, arranging transportation and spending additional money on Uber while dealing with the car. There were also continuing concerns with the transmission. After the clutch replacement, CarMax road-tested the vehicle and reported a grinding noise around 10-15 mph. After spending this much money, I ultimately lost confidence in continuing to put more time and money into the vehicle and replaced the car shortly afterward. To be fair, Johnny did say he would warranty problems related to his work, and he also provided an additional computer/module without charging me for it, which I appreciated. However, one of my biggest disappointments is that from a business called Integrity Auto Repair, I would have expected more candid advice before putting roughly $5,500 into an older Ford Fiesta. Afterward, multiple mechanics and people experienced with these vehicles told me they would not have recommended investing that much into this particular model. Had I been advised to seriously consider replacing the vehicle before spending that amount, I likely would have made a different decision. Overall, the entire process was financially and emotionally exhausting, and I would not personally return.

Shut off the engine and while looking under the front bumper, OUT FALLS A RAT!! Sharpe Automotive was our first call. Dean Sharpe dropped everything, showed up in less than 10 minutes and explain what happened. The rat made a home in our filter housing. When we started the engine, this little guy must have been pulled into the belt. Engine cooling fan blade assembly damaged, with one blade broken and another blade cracked. The fan-clutch wiring bracket was also broken, and the fan-clutch wiring had been stretched after the broken drive belt became twisted around it. The belt tensioner was broken in half, and the drive belt was broken. Dean, somehow, drove the truck to Sharpe Automotive without power steering and had it back and fixed in less than 24 hours. Such a phenomenal experience we had to make a reel about it. Thank you Sharpe Automotive team. You performed a miracle in a moment we needed it most.

At no point was I given an estimate, invoice, or explanation of their hourly diagnostic rate. The issue involved an electrical problem, and Tony informed me that his top mechanic specializing in electrical work would be available that Friday, so I dropped the vehicle off that day. It was not until the following Wednesday that I received a call from Tony stating my car was ready. I took time off work to pick up the vehicle, only to find out upon arrival that it was not actually ready. I could not get a straight answer regarding the delay. The next day, Friday, I was told the vehicle was finally ready. What I find most disturbing is that I never received a phone call explaining the problem, discussing the repairs needed, or authorizing the final cost before the work was completed. After three hours of diagnostics, they concluded that I needed a new alternator. We are talking about a 1963 Chevy Impala -- not a particularly complicated vehicle. Tony simply assumed that whatever amount appeared on the final bill was my responsibility without any prior approval or communication. Ironically, Tony himself stated, "It's a very simple vehicle to work on." Based on this experience, I would never return to that shop again. I no longer trust Tony or the way this business operates.

My car model was only produced for two years, and everywhere I called--including U-Haul--kept telling me the part was on order, only to cancel it again because there wasn't one available. Thankfully, another shop referred me here, (To Tony) and I'm so glad they did. From the moment I called, he was like "no problem, I will take care of it". He was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in finding a solution for me. They went above and beyond to source and install a hitch receiver that would fit my unique car and then mounted my bike rack perfectly. The bike rack I had ordered from Amazon was not of good quality. Tony is a dealer for Rocky Mounts and said "no problem" again and ordered me a rack that is so perfect for me to use easily. The level of skill, attention to detail, and customer service here is truly outstanding. Everyone is so nice. They did what no one else could--and they did it quickly and at a fair price. If you have a car that's hard to fit or need specialized work done, I absolutely recommend this place. They're problem-solvers, and they genuinely care about their customers.
