Do not recommend this place. Had an appointment for 10am to have an alignment done. There was two vehicles in the shop when I arrived. It took over an hour for them to pull my truck in the bay. They hooked the sensors up to the wheels and left it. 2 1/2 hours later I'm still sitting here with nothing being done to the truck. Having an appointment doesn't do anything to make you a priority. You're still put in line behind anyone that's there before you. The guy in front of me when I came in needed 4 tires. It's been 1 1/2 hours since they started on his vehicle and still not done. Might could understand if they were busy but the guys in the shop are moving like they're stuck in quicksand. DO NOT USE NTB in Conroe. Update: 3/12 hours later and finally done with a job that takes about 30 minutes to complete that I had an appointment for. There was a period that my truck was the only vehicle in the bay and wasn't being worked on. I've worked on my own vehicles for 45 years. This has got to be one of the worst places I've ever had to use. read more

This is the last time I ever take my vehicle to get serviced by this company. I purchased a set of tires back in 2021, and since then decided NTB would be my go to shop for wheel and tire maintenance because of their lifetime balances and rotations. Every time I got my tires rotated, I would receive my vehicle back with a misalignment. I've had 3 lug nuts stripped and broken total by this company since I became a customer, and accountability was never taken. I understand wear and tear is a thing, but the company simply can't torque correctly. At least not in any of the locations I've been to. I brought my car to the shop on 05/20/25 for a simple tire balance and rotation, but records of my tire purchase weren't in their system. Per Cindy, she couldn't find a copy of my invoice from my tire purchase back in 2021 before the company got bought out, so I was going to get charged. During my rotation, a lug stud was broken off, and they didn't want to let me drive my car home with only 2 studs intact. So Cindy quoted $400 and some change for parts and labor to replace 4 lug nuts and 4 lug studs on my rear wheels. I decided to replace all 8 versus only the ones that were broken. It made sense to get them done as a set. I was never given an estimate sheet, and it's my fault for not following up. The price I was shown today at pickup was completely different than what Cindy and I talked about. I was charged $500 total for parts (215), labor (250), and some miscellaneous bs... it is what it is at this point. Thank you to Jaime for helping me out. The guy looked stressed, and helped remove the tire rotation fee that shouldn't have been on the invoice and gave me a $10 discount on top of that. I get that these folks have to make their money too, but 149.99 an hour for labor... they will milk that time for sure. Overall, I can't trust this company anymore, and I feel taken advantage of. Thank you for the services, but I will no longer come back. I do not recommend this company if you're looking to get the best value out of your dollar, especially in today's economy. read more

They were amazing! Super quick got me in and out. I went in for a state inspection and a free battery check. I was nervous at first because usually if mechanics check your battery they will just tell you to get a new one regardless of test results, but they were super nice and said I was all good and everything went smoothly and answered my questions very nicely! I helped a friend today when their tire popped right before they went into work. Luckily NTB was next door and one of the workers walked with me next door to look at the tire. I don't know their names but it was one woman and two men working Monday, the 15th, in the evening. I walked in around 5:45pm, 15 minutes before closing, half expecting to be turned away but they said it wouldn't be a problem and were so nice and considerate. The tire just had to be patched and i was very happy with how careful and quick they were with it! I felt so bad coming in so close to their closing time but they said "you can't plan for a flat tire" which helped make a stressful situation feel calmer. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants fast and caring service. read more

I have pretty much always received my oil changes from NTB because they always did a free tire rotation with it. In the past I paid about $65 for full synthetic oil. They have now been bought out by a new company, which has decided they no longer do free tire rotations. They were going to charge an extra $25 for that now, so I declined the service. They told me my oil change would be around $100, and they told me that's what I paid last time. Well the time prior I paid that and received an oil change AND new cabin air filter. I have a 5 qt engine and left paying just over $100 for JUST an oil change (that price didn't sound right, but it was pouring and I was already there so I went ahead). I felt absolutely ripped off when I got in my car and saw my receipt from the time prior showing the oil change only being $65. In addition they did a "complimentary" general maintenance check, which somehow came back with me needing a new battery, an alignment on my front tires, and a leak in my rear shocks. These all turned out to false. I had just replaced my battery, which I informed them. I asked them which tires needed an alignment, to which I was informed my front tires. I had them checked by someone else, and they in fact do not need an alignment. It's been 3 months now and my tires show no uneven wear whatsoever. I'm not sure how they were even able to determine this in their very quick "general maintenance check." Finally my rear shocks have no leak, which I also had checked by someone else. These extra things they "found" during my general maintenance check would have cost around $800 if done by them, and not a single one was a needed repair. I was a long time and faithful customer, but I will absolutely not return after my last experience. read more

They charge 75.00 to install a battery !!! They wanted to charge me $ 223.00 for battery! Ridiculous. The battery was 121.00 then 75.00 to install it. I'm not sure what the other charges were for. I went to the dealer and got a similar battery with the same 24 month warranty for $120.00. Just an FYI ! CONROE LOCATION I At first I'm sure she said 263.00. But when I called later to ask why it was going to be so much, he sad $223.00... doesn't matter either way it's ridiculous to charge that. I have called numerous other places and the average battery for my car runs 90-120. Most places offer free installation with purchase. How can NTB charge $75.00 to install a battery ?? So yesterday I use the wife's car to go to work. First time it's been driven in a while( with all that's going on ) So on the way home I take it to get the tires rotated. Manager on duty tell that one of the tires has a nail on the outside and can't be fixed. The tire is a 12 days past the replacement warranty. Tire is still under warranty just not replacement warranty. He says to replace the tire with warranty will be $185. I only paid $172 per tire out the door. What kind of S--T is this!!! Oh then on top of this they didn't rotate the tires! Because I told him I would just buy the replacement from someone that will stand behind their products! Extremely dissatisfied. My fiancé had brought my car in for them to take a look at because my car had been bouncing around. We figured it was most likely because it needed an alignment. The tech had suggested that all we needed was two front new tires. My fiancé asked about the alignment and was specifically told we DO NOT need the alignment. We pick up the car, pull out of the parking lot, and it is still bouncing around exactly the same. I turn around to take it back and tell them the problem. Unfortunately the techs were completely booked for the rest of the day and they would not be able to look at it so I left. Frustrated, I go to Firestone only to find out I am needing much more than two new tires. I need new rear shock absorbers, badly need an ALIGNMENT, and the rear tires that were supposedly "okay" had separation in the tread and needed to be replaced. I then find out that NTB have a promotion going on for "buy two tires, get two free". I call another NTB (the gentleman was very kind and helpful) and he explains to me how the promotion works...we would have to buy a value installation package (hazard fees...alignment...etc.) I then explain to him our situation and he suggests I speak with the manager at the Conroe location to see if there is anything they may be able to honor or at least help me out with. Afterwards, I call and no manager is available so I speak with someone to explain what is going on. I ask about the promotion, why we were told not to get an alignment, and basically why it wasn't fixed in the first place. Basically what I took from it was it isn't their fault we didn't see the promotion and that they just "didn't see it". I mean, wouldn't anyone check to see if it was still shaking afterwards? Check the work? The problem is that it is shaking...AND IT STILL IS! I would have been more than happy to pay for any additional services that were needed, but feel like my business is not wanted. I had brought my car here because the last time I did, I had a great experience. Totally disappointed. Apparently a new manager starts tomorrow. I'll be calling. I'll be updating my review! 4/3 Update: I went ahead and filed a formal complaint to corporate. The gentleman who spoke with me was very nice and understanding. Got a 1 ton dually. Blew a rear inside tire. They couldn't get the Crome middle cap off and tried to pry the crome beauty rim off. I told one guy the beauty rim won't come off unless you take the lug nuts off. The other guy still went over and got a 6 ft pry bar and started prying off the beauty rim bending and creasing the outer beauty rim. When I complained to the front desk girl she stated I'm not paying for them. I told her he has already bent the rim. The guy comes in the waiting area and asked me if I wanted to come take them rims off. And of course no manager on duty so I have to go back. I was in a bind and had to have tires on my sons truck. There's a reason this place has a two star review - they've earned it. I'm an ASE certified mechanic, but I don't mind paying for the convenience of someone else disposing of the old oil, etc. when my truck needs a service. When I make an appointment and show up on time - I expect that reservation to be honored in a timely manner. A simple oil change shouldn't consist of leaving your customer in a waiting room for an hour before informing them it will be another hour before their vehicle is ready. I can change my oil, grease every fitting and go over my entire truck in my own driveway in less than 30 minutes. That time should be cut in half with a properly equipped shop - not to mention when the majority of your bays are empty. If you're backed up, short staffed or have a complication - let your customer know from the beginning instead of wasting their day. Looks like I'll be going back to servicing my own vehicles. read more

So I have used these guys for years, as well as my family having used them for years. Usually they take care of any problems that may arise and have pretty decent customer service, at least the times I have used them. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. We took my wife's car in about 6 months ago because of a shuddering when braking. They notified us that one of the calipers had started to bind and recommended we replace both front calipers, so we did. Now, 6 months later the replaced calipers are completely rusted! When asked about replacing them, the right thing to do, they told me they were 'mechanically fine' despite looking like 100 year old metal dumped into the sea. When asked for clarification as I was told they were replacing with OEM, they stated it was OEM 'style' and that I could pay them to replace the calipers with OEM parts. The clear disregard for anyone's safety is astounding! I encourage everyone to stay away from this place, who knows what they disregard when fixing or replacing parts on our cars! read more

TL:DR - They don't treat female customers with respect and they didn't perform a rotate and balance on my tires. Scheduled an appointment to have my tires rotated and balanced. All 4 of my tires were bought and warranted by NTB in San Antonio 2 years ago. As soon as I walked in, the guy behind the counter rudely snapped at me, "What do you want?" I told him I was there for an appointment. Another guy walked in from the shop and the first guy clearly upset I was even there told him I was there for an "appointment". As the second guy is doing something on the computer, the first guy asks me if I am dropping my car off. I told him no I can wait for it. As soon as I said it, the guy gets upset again. He starts saying my car won't even be seen until an hour after my appointment time. I arrived alone to NTB and it was clearly storming outside (under a flash flood advisory). Where did this guy want me to go? I stayed mannered and nice and told him I could wait. Then he starts adding time to the first estimate until it's over 2 hours past my appointment time. Like he was trying to get me to leave. Again, I said it was fine cause I clearly have a problem being anything other than civil to another human being. Meanwhile, the second guy is done doing whatever on the computer and TELLS me to sit down. Never asked me a question: not my name, my car make/model, nothing. So I sit down and proceed to listen to these two guys complain about how busy they are as they gossip with each other and stare at their phones. When MALE customers walk in, they are greeted and treated like a person. When a FEMALE customer asked a question about her vehicle, they were short with her. Then as soon as she left, I got to hear them talk about how stupid she was for not fully understanding why something she just replaced might have to be replaced again. Finally, nearly an hour after my appointment time, they pull my car back...... for 6-8 minutes. Not long enough to rotate the tires and balance them. I tried to watch through the shop door, but I am not even convinced they took my tires off. When they pulled my car around, the guy handed me my keys and dismissed me. He didn't hand me a receipt or work order. Nothing. I stood inside and waited to be acknowledged. Then went out to my car, parked right in front of the windows in the handicap spot, and waited to see if they would try to give me something. Nope. Now my tires are making a loud sound and I need an alignment. I will be going somewhere else. I would give 0 stars if I could. They clearly don't treat their female customers with any respect. I got an oil change on Monday and now on Thursday I'm currently parked on the side of the road in 95 degree heat with my 2 year old no ac going because they didn't not check or notify me that my coolant is so low in my car that it's overheated and ruined my engine. When I called to ask if they top up fluid like every other oil change place I've ever been to they told me they kinda check, nothing to much and if they notice they it's low they will notify you. I was NOT notified In the slightest. I drove my car from California to Texas with ZERO issues and bring it to this facility and all of a sudden a car that has never had any kind of issues at all is now overheated and telling me I need an oil change. DO NOT TAKE IT HERE! They clearly have no idea what they are doing and now me and my two year old are waiting for my husband in the boiling hot car because there is nowhere else for us to go nearby. After 37 years buying all my tires from NTW/NTB, never again. While buying 4 new tires, they wanted to include 1 with a noticeable and severe 'crimp' in the sidewall. I said no, they mounted it anyway. When I insisted they replace it, the manager fussed and argued while the service tech cussed and yelled. They did finally remove and mount another tire, but after 3-1/2 hours with only 1 other car in the shop. Enough. There are plenty of other shops to purchase from where customer service means something. We all have bad days, but don't yell at your customers and don't try to sneak things past them. Well we brought our daughter car there since she goes to college in huntsville and they seemed great at first then we got her car she stopped at the outlet mall then the car turned off and they hit the barrier on i45 mmm they just had her car not 20 miles or less down the road and it shuts off and she totals it just sound funny the work they did starter emergency brake and this mm not sure if i would trust them again please think about it read more

Don't waste your time here. Manager Terrance walked out in the middle of our conversation to the shop because he said he was too busy. Went Friday for patch job and when I got home the tire went completely flat again. Went back Saturday and he proceeded to argue with me again like it was my fault the tire went flat again. I went in last week for an oil change and to have a tire that had a slow leak repaired. I told my husband, I bet you 100 bucks they call and tell me they cant fix the tire and that I need 4 new tires. Sure enough, they called and said they could not repair the tire and that I needed 4 new tires, cost of 1200 bucks! I took my car to another tire shop, they fixed the tire for 7 bucks and let me know I still had plenty of tread on the 4 tires and could hold off for another 2000 to 3000 miles.
