I have never had such rude and unprofessional service as was displayed by the NSD delivery team. We ordered a home generator from Home Depot and free delivery was included. Our community is gated and the guards leave at 7:30pm. The driver arrived after that time and called me to say he couldn't get in. While I was explaining to him how to get in the gate, he continued to talk over me. There is a keypad for after hours entry and after looking up my name on it, the keypad sends a message to my phone and I can open the gate remotely. I told him he needed to listen to the instructions because it's easy if he follows them. He hung up. I calledo him back twice and he did not answer. About 10 minutes later his truck pulled up and that means he either piggy-backed on a resident or someone with approval to come through the gate (trespassing), or he bypassed the gate through other means. Our house has a rear entry. I went out to show him how to drive behind, where our driveway is on ground level. He would not acknowledge me and acted as if I was not talking to him. There are 3 steps to get up to my front door. Anyone knows you don't want a 300 pound generator at the front door. It goes to the garage. My neighbor saw what was happening and came out. He told the driver he needed to go to the back driveway. Again,the driver ignored him. He and his partner rolled the generator box across the sidewalk and up the steps and left it on my front porch. I am a 100 pound 70 year old woman. Is this how he would treat his mother or grandmother? It is rude and shameful. Home Depot should not do business with such a non professional company as NSD. Aside from the bad behavior, I am faced with how to move thus 300 pound object down off the steps and around my house to the garage and am concerned that their careless handling of the container damaged the generator. Had they made the delivery to the garage, there would have been no steps, making it much easier for everyone and no need to roll the container and possibly damage the contents. If I could leave this review with zero or negative stars, that would be my rating. I might not be able to get Home Depot to stop using NSD, but I can stop shopping at Home Depot and tell all my friends and neighbors of the poor service. UPDATE: I give the NSD management credit for reacting quickly to my situation and doing everything within their power to correct it. Both Robert H. and John H. were responsive and sent another crew out to take care of the mess left by the ones that botched the delivery yesterday. Apparently, the team yesterday were replacements because some regular staff was off. Still, they had to know right from wrong and it was unacceptable service. The regular crew was here today and moved the heavy box to the correct location. As a kind gesture, NSD had them to inbox, and assemble, and haul away the packing so we could look for visible damage from the mishandling it had yesterday. As soon as we can get oil and gas in the unit to test it we will know if there was damage or not. NSD has vowed to take care of it if the unit does not run and we feel they are being honest in that promise. In the end, the situation yesterday was unforgivable but once NSD knew about it they were quick to step up and that is admirable. We are raising the rating to 3 stars to split the difference between the deplorable experience yesterday and the stellar experience today. read more

Worst...Delivery Service...Ever! I ordered some flooring off of Home Depot.com. We paid extra to have it shipped to my house and not to do store pick up. BIG MISTAKE! One part of our shipment was handled by Non Stop Delivery. I think they are named this because they never stopped at our house. The first part of our shipment arrived by UPS on time and the UPS man was amazing. On the day of delivery the NDS package kept saying "Out for Delivery" in the tracking system. So I waited and waited and it never came. Next morning I called Home Depot and they gave me the run around. They have no way of getting in touch with NSD. I was on and off the phone with Home Depot all day only to be told that NSD said they delivered my floors the day before and they had left it in the street in front of my house. What, the what! Also, NSD's driver said he took pictures of this nonsense. I said great, please give me these pictures. Home Depot rep told me they did not have the pictures but would give them to me, wait for it.....if I call back tomorrow! UGH!!! The delivery of my treadmill was an experience unlike any other where I've paid a premium to have someone deliver and install. The dispatcher routinely answered the phone with "hello" like it was her personal cell phone. Doubt about a company always creeps in the minute someone answers a company line with a simple hello. I had to keep calling to nail down a delivery date and never could. She might as well have said "we don't run on a schedule here". I got texts and emails saying "we've been trying to schedule with you with no success" which is infuriating because no one called, no one emailed. I had to call NSD. The second time I called, I was told that she'd let me know for sure if we had the next morning appt (Saturday at some ungodly hour like 6:30am). I said "yes, please let me know." I wasn't called or notified that it would be at that time so we all had to get up early, unplanned and irritable. Worst delivery drivers! Ordered mattress from JC Penney for delivery, my luck it was raining that day! Although the mattress was covered in plastic, the drivers decided it would be a good idea to lay it on the wet street. They then dragged the mattress with a wet cover in my house up a flight of stairs scuffing up the walls along the way. Customer Service is AWFUL! I feel bad for writing a negative review, but they need to step up their game. I paid for "white glove" service. Their phone service is slow to respond. You're on hold for hours. They prompted me to hold or request a call back. I made the mistake of doing it twice. Never heard from them. I call and they tell me they don't have my $3,000 piece of equipment. I have confirmed with the original place of purchase it was in their hands, and NSD's own website says "its in my local NSD terminal". HORRIBLE customer service! I am so upset, I ordered a desk through Amazon almost 2 weeks ago and set up delivery for today, the delivery window came and went - NO delivery, no notification of any delay, nothing. Amazon says to contact the carrier, NSD, and first the phone number came up busy 5 times in a row, then I finally got on the line and was on hold for nearly 20min before getting disconnected and told I would "get a call back" at this number. Judging from other reviews I'm certain that won't actually happen. Then I tried the customer service chat, the person I spoke to was not helpful AT ALL. They stated that my item was never even scheduled for delivery, which is an outright lie because it's been scheduled for nearly 2 weeks. Then I was told that the person I was chatting with couldn't even help me with scheduling a delivery and I would have to contact the "terminal" whatever that means. I asked for a phone number that would actually connect me to a person who could help me NOT the main customer service line, and I was given the main customer service line anyway. Then they ended my chat without actually helping at all. This company feels like a huge scam. I then contacted Amazon and they said they reached out to NSD and they ASSURED me I would receive a call back in 24 hours. I'm not holding my breath. Honestly I'm posting this review to see if someone who is willing to help me will contact me. I'm in the middle of getting ready to move and I needed that desk today, I had everything planned so I would get the desk before movers showed up Friday and moved me to a different state where I'm supposed to start working from home on Monday - hence the need for a desk. Last time I left a review was back in 2018 and it was a bad review. Here we are in 2022 and still NSD sucks!. Why Home Depot contracts with them is stupid on there end. Had a door delivered by NSD. They said they would call 30 mins before the delivery. And they still don't call. I have cameras and the two guys that delivered the door are clowns! The Door was standing up right on a pallet. They tried to lay it on a small dolly. Which they could not do. So they carried the door on a pallet up my driveway left it in fron of my garage, were I could not get my car out. We got a couch that technically they only had to drop to the threshold, but with my wife and I not being able to lift it into the living room, they made an exception and we were able to assemble the couch piece by piece from where they dropped it. Horrible!!!! Ordered 2 pool loungers on Amazon. NSD sent me a message and even posted on Amazon site that delivery window from 12pm-3pm. We took the time to wait because someone MUST be home for the delivery. Then 3:30 comes and no show. I called Amazon and they call NSD. They responded that they are nearby and that we are their next stop and will be delivering within 1 and a half hour. That's a lie, because nearby does not constitute taking an hour and a half. Then 5:30pm comes around and no show. Wasted my entire day. The rep we spoke with at NSD was less than apologetic and sympathetic and said this stuff happens. I ordered a couch from Amazon for my wife, whose birthday is today. I had scheduled a couple weeks ago to have the delivery made today between 3pm and 7pm. I took work off this afternoon to wait for the delivery. As of 10pm, the couch has still not arrived. I contacted customer service around 8:15pm asking for a status update and was told that they couldn't reach the local terminal here in Grand Rapids, MI but the couch would still be delivered tonight. I have not received a call from anyone saying that my delivery is not happening today. I have emailed NSD with my order number after reading the many dissatisfied reviews on here. I am awaiting a response. If NSD hopes to become like USPS, UPS, or FedEx, it has a long ways to go. UPDATE - package was finally delivered on 8/31. Updating to two stars as I can tell the customer service team is doing their best to make these deliveries happen - it just seems as though the local distribution facility was either being uncooperative or otherwise opaque in their responses. I'd originally had a delivery scheduled from NSD on Tuesday 8/23 between 11am - 2pm EST. This delivery did not occur. I was informed that it has been rescheduled to yesterday, 8/25, between 8am - 11am EST. That delivery did not occur. I emailed yesterday (extramile@hubgroup.com) and was informed the 'package didn't make it onto the truck' and that someone would be reaching out to me via text message yesterday, to schedule delivery for today. That message did not arrive. I reached out to chat help last night after not receiving this message and was told someone would call me this morning. This call did not happen. I ordered furniture through 1Stop Bedrooms. I paid for White Glove Delivery, which is delivery to room of choice, assembly, and trash removal. 1Stop used Non Stop Delivery, who then outsourced the delivery to Need It Now Delivers PA. On 4/15, White Glove Delivery was not completed as promised, I had to assemble a portion of the delivery myself after the delivery people refused because they "didn't know how." They unpackaged my white couch to try to get it to fit in the elevator, and it got dirty. We had to carry it up stairs ourselves. They damaged a sconce on the one thing they assembled, after saying they didn't know how to assemble any of it. I requested a refund of $259.99 for the White Glove delivery, as this service was not rendered. The representative at Need It Now Delivers PA confirmed in an email that she requested I be refunded both to Non Stop Delivery and 1Stop Bedrooms. I spoke to 1Stop and they said they are waiting for Non Stop Delivery to refund them since that's who they paid. I have called NonStop Delivery twice and the customer service seems to have no idea who would be the contact to speak to 1Stop Bedrooms. I have now received 5 emails from 1Stop saying they have "escalated" the issue. I emailed Non Stop Delivery on 4/25 and have yet to receive a reply other than an automated response telling me to check the tracking online. I replied and asked for an update to my inquiry and have yet to hear a word. It has been poor service all around from beginning to end. read more

HORRIBLE! I purchased a treadmill for my father and paid for the assembly. First delivery attempt they came before the delivery window without any notification. At thar point we were told they could not assemble it because they only were allotted 8 minutes per delivery. No biggie..... I contact customer service to schedule the assembly and I am told someone would be out first thing in the morning. Well to my surprise 2:00 pm and no one has arrived or called. I contact the customer service line and the first person tells me to just wait for the driver. When i asked for a manager she hung up on me. Then i call back and speak to dispatch and they could not give me a time of arrival. Finally at 2:30 pm the driver calls me and tells me they will be out in an hour and a half. I took off work and stayed home that day to receive the package. All day went by and no call and no package. I figured that maybe they were running behind since it was a Friday so maybe it'd get there Monday. Monday rolls around and still nothing! I look at the tracking info and they said they "attempted" delivery. Lol crock of crap. At this point I contact Home Depot (because getting a hold of nsd is IMPOSSIBLE) and told Home Depot my issue. They resubmitted the tracking and it was to be delivered on June 5th. June 5th rolls around and AGAIN no phone call and no package. I ordered bulky items that were shipped in multiple boxes. I was told I would get a call 30 minutes before delivery. I never got a call and my order was changed to "Customer Cancelled". I called and after 15 minutes on hold the system claimed I would get a call back and hung up. Every time I called, I never got a call back. I then tried the web chat and kept getting disconnected. I finally was able to get in touch via the web chat and after that I only got a partial delivery and the site was updated to "Delivered". I tried to get the remaining items and just kept getting a generic "we will look into it and call you withing 24 - 72 hours". It has been over a week and the issue still has not been resolved and nobody can tell me what happened to the items. read more

After reading a few reviews, I agree this company is terrible. I have a Home Depot shipment at their location a little over 1 hour away. The truck would have come within a few miles from me on route to the location. It's been there for 5 days. Update today is it's to deliver April 11. Another 10 days. My shipment ETA with online tracking reads 8:30 to 12:30. Computer phone message was ETA 7:30 to 11:30. I entered my phone number for text updates. None were sent. I was to receive a call 30 minutes prior to delivery. I did not. Good I had my shipment delivered to my warehouse. It didn't appear they had a cart. There were several large, cumbersome, heavy boxes. One of the employees took the large wood cart I had set aside outside using a loading/receiving ramp to bring my shipment inside. read more

Nightmare to deal with. Ordered a rug from Amazon. Original delivery date was May 19th. Nothing showed. Delivery date has changed several times. Sending an email only gets you an automated response and no one actually contacts you back. Online chat option has you waiting for someone if anyone is ever available and it will close on it's own randomly. Calling puts you on hold for 30+ minutes forcing you to select the option for them to call you back. IF they call you back it is hours later. I spoke with someone May 28th to try and figure out what the issue could be and let them know someone has been home every day and NOTHING has shown up. I called again today only to be on hold until it hung up on me. I called back and was on hold for 40+ minutes until I had to select the option yet again for them to call me back. There is NO WAY to communicate with this company. I just want my rug that I ordered and paid for. I've been tempted to just go get it myself at the headquarters. Ordered a package from Amazon that was using NSD, and chose a delivery window a month in advance. No drivers showed up or called during the specified window of time. Spent an hour on hold before giving up, never heard back from their "customer care chat representative", and only got automated, unhelpful email responses. At this point I'm honestly not sure what the next steps are to get my package. Edit: Original rating was one star. After emailing Pat, the ball got rolling pretty quickly, and someone from a local delivery service contacted me. It still isn't clear why they weren't able to reach me during the attempted delivery, but there was some sort of vehicle malfunction and they were very flexible regarding rescheduling dates. Hopefully the second delivery attempt goes more smoothly. It definitely isn't optimal that the best way to get a response is through complaining on Yelp... but given the turnaround was quite quick post-review, I'm adding two stars. It does seem like the only *real* issue here is NSD's platform for customer service, which is pretty dreadful. read more

The delivery men were good and polite. They delivered baby furniture that I had ordered from buy buy baby. However, the communication was not good. I did not receive a call on what day the furniture would be arriving to schedule a time that would work for me. Luckily I happened to be home from work and pick up a call (normally I don't even pick up the phone because of spam) that they were here with my furniture. One box was missing a chunk out of it and had what looked like rat poop on top but the furniture itself for that piece was in good condition once I unboxed. read more

I would give negative stars if possible! Unfortunately, Amazon chose NSD to deliver my large package, and it has been the worst experience! So much has gone wrong starting with Amazon saying to expect a delivery on a certain day when I was at work, so I had my parents wait around all day, but no delivery. I did online chat with so-called customer service only for them to have no info to provide and just say they would have someone from the location call me in 1-2 business days. Despite this "Lucky" person saying they would make my issue a priority, the company never called back and instead updated my tracking status (that I had to look for, not that was sent to me) to having the delivery scheduled for 5 days later. Scheduled with who? They never called me back to make that arrangement, not to mention it's going to come late now and on a day that will be harder to have someone waiting for it. On top of all this, I figured out during this process that Amazon led me to believe that my delivery would just come to me when expected (like all other shipments), but it turned out that if I didn't hunt down the NSD delivery company's customer service info by Googling it, I would have never known I had to schedule the delivery, and it would probably continue sitting around in their warehouse. In the meantime, I have a living room without furniture and growing irritation. Delivery hasn't happened yet, but based on my experience so far, I anticipate more problems and terrible service. AMAZON, STOP USING THIS SHIPPING COMPANY! They assume they don't have to work for customer satisfaction since their shipping is designated and not an option, so they don't even try to provide good service. Despite what the company says on this Yelp page, customer service is the furthest thing from their priority! Attn: Pat L - you are clearly not doing your job well since low ratings (1 1/2 stars overall, and I am at a loss for how you even got above the lowest rating of only 1 star) and terrible service with similar trends keep popping up in these reviews. Tracking indicated that delivery would be November 16th between 8 a.m. and noon. We made arrangements to be here for the expensive items to avoid it being left at the driveway gate since no signature was required. At 4:30 p.m., we had heard nothing from this company and called to verify that it was to be delivered. During this conversation, after a 30 minute hold time, plus additional minutes on hold while the situation was investigated, it was revealed that the items had NOT been placed on the truck. We were advised that the earliest this mistake could be remedied was November 19th between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; we made arrangements to be here for the delivery. This morning, at 9:30 a.m., with no courtesy call, the truck pulled up to deliver the items. No update was given to us, no courtesy call 30 minutes earlier as promised. The driver denied any knowledge of the issue yesterday and claimed he had not been given our phone number to advise us that he was on the way with our delivery. Had we not been here this morning, the items would have been left at our gate where they may have been stolen. Not to mention that they weighed 300 lbs in total; the company says that delivery is to the first "dry area"; we would have been responsible for moving the 300 lbs to that dry area had we not been here. There is no excuse for this lack of good customer service and lack of communication. I don't want to hear that COVID19 is responsible for no one texting us to be on the look-out for a delivery a day later than originally scheduled and two days earlier than the new scheduled delivery. Two seconds after the driver pulled away, we got a text asking us to give a 5 star review...proving that our number WAS in the system and there was no excuse for the lack of communication. While we are of course happy that the items are now here, this company needs to do better. Customers take off work and reschedule events to be here for deliveries. My item was delivered incorrectly. It is a large and heavy workbench. It should've been left on my driveway right-side up, wheels on the ground. Instead, the delivery people left it on its side, wheels sticking out on the right. The unit weighs over 600 lbs, and I cannot lower it to its proper position without damaging the property or injuring myself. It is simply too heavy. NSD refused to come back out to complete proper delivery, even though the wheels are clearly visible AND the package's "THIS SIDE UP" warning is crawling vertically up the side of the box.
