He kept explaining to me why he could not share information with me about my son due to their "protocol". I offered to pay for an appointment and his time. He insisted that I would get everything that I needed in this one wraparound appointment that they would schedule. I shared that I did not feel comfortable even moving forward with the braces until I knew what the issues were. He shared that he had already told me 3 years ago. I said that if he taught me, I did not learn and I needed more information. He then proceeded to school me on going to specialists as though I did not know. It was incredibly ridiculous. When I said that I was leaving and that as a black woman, this always happens. People think that you are not smart enough to understand. He said, oh, if you are going to say things like that, I cannot work with you! I said that was perfectly fine by me. I have no desire to work with someone who could care less if his patients actually understand their condition.

My daughter said Wendy was so nice and made her feel very comfortable. They explained that putting on the bottom braces wouldn't hurt. They were right. My daughter was quite relieved. We hyped up the idea of going to the dentist, starting a couple weeks before the visit, and telling him that brushing his teeth at home was the way he'd end up getting a balloon at the dentist's office. The waiting room is filled with exactly the kinds of toys he loves, so he was instantly happy to be there. The dental hygenist was very friendly and sweet, helping him settle in to the big chair while explaining to us some basic concepts of healthy diet and how it affects teeth. We don't have a TV and don't allow screens but they brilliantly have a projector above the chair - so I'm not sure if this would be as enchanting for a kid who is used to TV but for our son, he was fascinated. It distracted him enough throughout the visit so there was no fuss, no resistance...full cooperation as his teeth were counted. The dentist and hygienist both sing as they're doing different procedures. They let him feel the electronic tooth polisher on his finger before polishing his teeth. I'm so glad we started him early and hope we can continue to keep on top of his dental hygiene. I highly recommend you bring your young child(ren) here.

He contacted Cambridge Orthodontics and was seen by Dr. Samadani. Like a one reviewer posted, I was also concerned about the cost (college is expensive enough). And just like said reviewer, I was also surprised when he said Dr. Samadani fixed it for free! He said it did not take long either and they were super nice. I just want to extend my gratitude to everyone at Cambridge Orthodontics. Thank you for your kindness and for taking care of my son!

I would trust Dr. Sadamani's professional opinion and advice and wholeheartedly recommend Cambridge Orthodontics to anyone looking for an orthodontist! I've had my permanent retainer for 4 years before one side of my wire came popped off, which impeded my eating. I couldn't go to my orthodontist because he is based in California, so I called around to multiple orthodontic offices in Somerville and Cambridge area. Cambridge Orthodontics was able to get me an appointment within 5 days of my call, compared to other places that offered appointment slots a month out from when I called. I appreciate that they understood the urgency of my situation and tried to get me in at the earliest time possible. The visit itself was nothing short of a pleasant experience! From the staff members who aided with different parts of my procedure to Dr. Samadani's consultation, everyone thoroughly explained to me what they were doing every step of the way. Dr. Samadani was especially thoughtful in explaining the different options I had for my permanent retainer. Frankly, my biggest fear was going to an orthodontist's office that I am not a regular at and be ripped off. I was on guard that they would tell me to replace my entire permanent retainer rather than repair just the broken part. Dr. Samadani was really honest about the state of my permanent retainer and I felt that she suggested the most practical option for me moving forward. I truly appreciated her honesty and integrity most about my experience with her.

The cost for the treatment was also reasonable and they were able to start us right away. After having a rather awful experience with another office in this same town, I was a bit nervous coming this morning. However, given how kind and professional this office was I signed on my older daughter right away and will plan on bringing my younger one when her time comes.
