I called the after hours line that Dr D'Aloisio provided and he picked up the phone, looked at pictures of the problem and then offered to meet Is at the office that night. Very, very after hours! I was so grateful. My son was in quite a bit of pain and would have had to miss going to see his friends on Sunday to get the issue fixed on Monday. I was considering going to the emergency room which would have been hours of waiting. Dr. D'Aloisio really took care of my son. I would recommend this practice to anyone. Our family has enjoyed working with this team for our son's orthodontic needs. This extra care and help only added to an already top notch experience.

Dr. Maria Elizondo is truly a magician. I was referred to her 30 years ago by an acquaintance who…read morewas an oral surgeon, who told me she was the best. And there's no doubt about this. I am now in my sixties, and I had major pediatric dental trauma from my childhood. Dr. Maria changed my life, enabling me to access dental care without fear. I had a crooked front tooth that marred my smile, which made me embarrassed. Dr. Maria told me she could cosmetically fix it. So I have had a beautiful smile for nearly 30 years, thanks to her wonderful work, which only took an hour or so in the soothing environment of her office. She has protected my teeth and my health for so much of my life. I cannot express my gratitude deeply enough to her and her wonderful associates.

We hold Dr. Janeen Hughes and everyone involved with her practice in the HIGHEST regard!…read more My son's dentist referred us to Dr. Hughes due to a crossbite, as she suspected a retainer might be necessary. Additional dental expenses are never really good news for parents (and my son has a developmental disability, which means any kind of medical visit is potentially problematic for him). We found EVERYONE at Lakewood Park to be very sensitive to my son's needs, ALWAYS welcoming and extremely professional, and the cost of care to be very reasonable. My son actually enjoyed visits to the office (there are video games for kids in the waiting area, which was a treat.!) and the wonderful staff was always so nice to him that I think he considered it a visit to see some friends who "just so happened" to also be interested in his teeth! Best of all, the treatment was EFFECTIVE so we haven't needed to go back for some time, but you can bet that when my son requires further orthodontic care in the not-so-distant future, we wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

As a Weston resident and a medical doctor, our family will never go to Weston Pediatric Dental. We…read morepicked this practice only because it is close by. We made appointments with their office and informed the office my kids' birthday information. After waiting for 3 weeks, the office lady Christina informed us the same day of our appointment that the dentist is not present at the office, and the doctor whom we scheduled the appointment with is an orthodontist who does not see patients under 7 years old...They knew we do not have any kids above 7 years old on the first day we made the appointment. They let us wait for more than 3 weeks just to tell us that the appointment had to be cancelled, despite that we have repeatedly stated over the phone the need for our children to do a routine dental check. Christina lied about leaving voice messages and calling us a week before our appointment, which were totally untrue after we checked and searched our call/voicemail history. Christina demanded the cancellation of the appointment (or re-schedule us for another 3 weeks) while I still nicely described our kids dental care needs. She didn't listen, and she commented "I think you don't fit for our office. You need to go elsewhere." at me over the phone. Absolutely no apology for creating this inconvenience while she could have cancelled or reschedule the appointment weeks before, or at least inform us that the appointment was impossible right away when it was scheduled. The patient care service attitude made us completely lose the confidence in this dental office. We understand sometimes human mistakes or miscommunication do happens, but her offensive words "not fit for the office" and "go elsewhere" are totally not appropriate.
