We found Now & Forever Love from tags of our friends instagram posts as we were looking for day of coordination services. We were actually speaking to 2 other vendors to see which one fit us best. All 3 vendors all provided the same services so we decided to go with Now & Forever Love because they offered team of 3 people (1 lead and 2 assistants) for a slightly lesser price. Initially, we spoke with Helen and she mentioned she would be on maternity leave and that Kaitlin would handle our wedding as a new lead. Even though Kaitlin was a "new lead", she handled our wedding very professionally and experienced! Even though they were doing day of coordination, they offered their services months in advance with monthly check ins and availability if we had any concerns or questions. They also had great vendors recommendations as well. We booked our videographer (boybrooklyn) through them as he was the only one that we loved that had our style. Our first choice of DJ was also recommended through them but we were unable to book as they were already booked for our date. Kaitlin was always available for us if we needed her. She also attended our rehearsal and made sure that we had everything according to her checklist. She was very on top of all the little details that even we didn't knew existed. She also took over as point of contact for our vendors, which was a big help and I didn't even noticed they stopped contacting me lol. On the day of, she made sure we stuck to the schedule and wasn't afraid to direct and lead. She also ensured all the million small things went according our way. We also ended up having a boba hour and one of her assistants were able to pick it up before the ceremony to make sure that it was set up during cocktail hour, which was a big help! Another assistant also remembered my mom's locket that I left on my bouquet and made sure I got it back before the bouquet toss. One thing I really appreciated was that she was able to save me some ice cream (from our ice cream cart), boba and tacos from our late night snack! I wasn't able to eat much that day because I wasn't hungry, and I super appreciate her saving it for me because I would have 100% regretted not being able to eat these goodies during my wedding day. I also didn't ask her to save me anything so I really love how she was proactive in doing these things for me! Erica was such a pleasure to have as our coordinator. We re-scheduled our wedding 3 times and Erica was on top of everything and extended way beyond her duties each time. Feedback about our wedding from the older adults was that is was the most organized and well planned wedding they had ever been to. My husband and I met Erica at my husband's brother's wedding. We were truly impressed by her ability to keep her Zen and friendliness all the while coordinating a million different tasks at the same time. My husband reached out to Now and Forever Love in August of 2019 when it was clear that we had no idea how to plan even the smallest of weddings. He chatted on the phone with Helen and got some initial information. A week or so later Helen followed up with him which really impressed me. We met at coffee shop to discuss our vision of a small, 30 person, mountain wedding in the Fall of 2020. At Helen's suggestion we searched VRBO for houses that allowed events and were able to find an awesome "venue" on VRBO - a lodge in Idyllwild. We hired Helen and began the planning! She checked in every month with tasks to be done but considering we were over a year out, we didn't have a ton to do. I booked other vendors and kept in regular touch. Then Covid19 hit. We were so at a loss of how to move forward. Do we cancel? Do we reschedule? Do we downsize? Let me tell you, Helen was an absolute rock throughout every anxious, upset, heartbroken phone call and email. Even when she didn't have an answer right away she stayed optimistic and positive. We decided in July of 2020 to downsize to just 9 guests plus ourselves - the newly dubbed, "microwedding." We discussed social distancing, masks, hand sanitizer, and everything that we would need to do to protect our families while still trying to hold a wedding during a pandemic. Helen handled everything with true grace and ease. No question was too random or silly; she was never condescending and I never felt awkward asking her for help. It really felt more like texting a friend and that was really important to me. She was always excited and enthusiastic in every text, email, and meeting. She even came to my final dress fitting with my sister-in-law to learn how to bustle my gown! When our original caterer (who was bringing all the rentals) ended up falling through, Helen recommend a local rentals vendor in Gardena (La Pinata Party), who were FANTASTIC. We would not have found them without her. When things started getting down to the wire, she was always there with suggestions and a friendly reminder. She also has a really fantastic list of her own rentals which we were thrilled to be able to use. She and her assistant Simon arrived Friday to help set up and get the rehearsal going. I was always confident that we were staying on schedule and that she had every detail covered. I am pretty organized and love lists, but it was invaluable to have Helen take care of so many things like set up, decorations, and scheduling. She arranged our day-of schedule and kept our families and our other vendors (catering, photography, and HMU) up to date on the timeline for the day. It was the perfect day; everything went smoothly and we honestly owe it all to Helen. Our families were extremely impressed at her professionalism and just all-around positive attitude. I was looking for a wedding coordinator to obviously help with our wedding day needs, but also, I was looking for someone who can keep me on track leading up to the wedding having never attended a wedding let alone been involved with planning a wedding. From day one, she's always asked the right questions + said the right things, giving us such confidence that she could take charge and handle anything and everything we threw her way! You can really tell that she has a lot of experience under her belt and isn't afraid to do the uncomfortable things to make sure YOU feel the MOST comfortable on your special day!! Working with Erica at Now and Forever Love was the best decision we made during our entire wedding planning process. We booked Erica for Month & Day of Coordination and we are so glad we did. To start off, I, myself, am a planner and so at first, I didn't really think it was necessary to hire someone to plan/coordinate in addition to everything that I was doing. But I was wrong. Erica handled everything you can think of with all 10+ vendors we had. She coordinated logistics, budgets, payments, schedules, decorations, you name it! Looking back, month-of coordination was the way to go because there was such a seamless hand-off from my planning to Erica's coordination prior to the wedding. As a bride, there can be so many stress-triggers especially during the last month of planning and Erica alleviated most or all of them through the month-of coordination process. On the big day, we felt like guests at our own wedding because we were so well taken care of by Erica and her team and did not have to worry about anything. Between Erica as the lead coordinator and the 2 other coordinators on-site, they took care of all the logistics and ensured all of our guests were taken care of. Not only was Erica extremely professional, but she also became such a good friend to me in the process. You can genuinely tell that she puts her heart into everything she does and ensures the bride/groom, family, and guests have the best day ever. I could not have asked for anyone better and I almost want to plan a wedding all over again just to spend more time with Erica. Lastly, I'd like to specifically point out Erica's attention to detail. Our venue, the Colony House, required us to hire a day of coordinator. WTH! We didn't budget for it nor did we think we needed one. But we loved the venue and just figured we just had to do it. We found N&FL through Instagram through our venue. Fast forward to the day of our wedding on 1.11.2020 and we couldn't have been more grateful and impressed with Helen and her team!! From the get go, Helen and I worked together long distance. She finally met my then fiancé, who I warned was pretty crass and goofy. She totally humored him and could hold her own with him. She checked in with me every month leading up to the wedding. She was there to catch anything I missed and the day of kept the agenda and schedule on track. Erica was the lead coordinator for my wedding and it couldn't have gone any better! First of all she is so sweet and easy to get along with. We had a couple meetings before the wedding and she helped organize every little detail. Her planning and scheduling allowed us to create a smooth timeline and she definitely opened our eyes to many things we hadn't even thought about. She was super professional and quick to respond. I never had to worry because anytime I had a question, concern, or thought she was there with an answer. During the day of the wedding I was never approached or interrupted by anyone. Erica was our lead planner for our 3-month wedding coordination and she was an absolute dream to work with! We knew she was the one for us when she came to us with questions we hadn't even thought about, and with her being so experienced, it was amazing to see that she had all the existing relationships with our vendors and knew exactly how to work with them to make it a seamless experience. Once we hired her, she took the lead on all communications and really took the baton and helped put us at ease. Erica was our coordinator for our wedding, and she has all the qualities that a great wedding coordinator should have - calm, organized/detail-oriented, and a great communicator. She was our month-of coordinator, but she really did so much more. She would send us an update email at the beginning of each month so check on our progress and advise on next steps. I tend to overthink and would get overwhelmed, but she was great at breaking everything down to a manageable level. And weeks leading up to the wedding day, we would talk/text/or email often to make sure all the bases were covered. On the wedding day, it was so nice that I didn't have to worry at all about the venue set up at all and I was amazed at how beautiful everything looked and it turned out exactly how I imagined it. I'm so glad that I met Helen at the Big Fake Wedding. It was the first wedding/bridal event that I had been to, and it was like 1 year before our planned wedding date. I was not really interested in signing with any vendors at the time, but while I was walking around we sparked a conversation. I immediately felt a comfort and trust while talking to Helen. I was definitely in the market for a coordinator, but I did not want a planner as I like to plan and book all my vendors. Although Helen was just serving as a coordinator, she provided so much support through the process (and I booked her almost 1 year prior)! She has great vendor suggestions and is supportive of anything you decide. I felt comfortable asking her any questions about cost-efficiency, what other Korean-Americans tend to do, and any of those other weird details that you wouldn't know where to ask. As my wedding date approached (March 2019), I learned that Helen had like 9 weddings in a row during that time! However, I did not feel that she was busy in any way. She was prompt in responding to all of my questions/planning emails and always drove to where it was most comfortable for me to meet up. She was detailed about schedules, checklists, and communicated well with the wedding party. Then, on the wedding day! I was so impressed by the team! There were 2 girls (Erica took care of the girls) and they were both so sweet and supported the wedding party amazingly (especially to keep my photographer on track with time :P) Also, during the reception, our table greetings were running long so I was getting concerned about guests just sitting there after dinner. Right when I had that thought, Helen came and asked if we should skip the brief open dancing and go straight into cake cutting and that was exactly what I was thinking!! I'm not one to be very bridezilla, but I do have a bit of OCD... I was able to completely let go and trust Helen's team and judgement. Everything turned out beautiful and event ran smoothly! When my now-husband and I decided to get married, we wanted to keep it small and low-key, and I was convinced I could do it all myself. That said, as our wedding crept closer and closer, I found myself to be increasingly anxious about the nitty-gritty details. A few months before our big day, I decided it might be a good idea to look for a coordinator. On such short notice though, I was panicked that no one would be available and I'd be on my own. My wedding was perfect! If there were any hiccups I had no idea because Vivian was handling everything behind the scenes. There were constant changes being made to the day-of schedule due to conflicts with our parents' expectations, but Helen and Vivian made everything work. They were super responsive and on top of things. After my husband met them for the first time he said, "they have their sh*t together". A very high praise from a guy that can't tolerate incompetence.
