We got married October 2025, and reached out to Naomi of DNT Event in mid January 2025. We were under a time crunch, had an estimated guest count of ~200, and were doing a destination wedding. Naomi was cool, calm, and collected during our first call, and gave us the faith we needed to know we could do this. We spent many time calling, emailing, texting, and Naomi was always responsive. We purchased the chocolate soufflé package that gave us help for planning a wedding of this size. Where to begin? Naomi came recommended by a friend who had recently had a wedding, and we didn't even end up meeting anyone else - we knew from the questions she asked and her approach to planning in that first meeting that she and her team were the right event planners for our wedding. Choosing our wedding coordinator was a huge decision for us. What if the personalities don't match? Did we even need a planner? Is it worth the cost? What if the personalities don't match? I'll have to start this review by saying I was a bit bias towards going with Naomi as a wedding coordinator for my wedding. Unbeknownst to her, I attended two weddings she had planned in 2012 and 2018 (both which ran perfectly from my view) before my wedding in October, 2019. The experience of being an attendee and groom should give you further confidence that she is worth a long look as you decide on your coordinator. Going into our first call with Naomi, my wife and I had done our countless hours of google searching about all things wedding related and we felt pretty confident on our knowledge of what we wanted in terms of details and activities during the wedding. However, after talking to Naomi, we realized there were so many gaps we were completely unaware of. Like most things in life "Not knowing what you don't know" is a bad spot to be in and is a very real scenario when you begin wedding planning. Right from the get go, Naomi helped us fill these knowledge gaps all while being enthusiastic and understanding of the many things we had to go research on. We also both noted that she didn't give off a "saleswoman" vibe at all and that we got the sense that she was genuinely interested supporting us in any way possible. After our initial good impression, we decided hire Naomi and that's when things got real! Through extensive questionnaires and checklists that Naomi created, we developed a large base of information that would eventually develop into our wedding day. These were quite overwhelming at first and to be honest a bit stress inducing as we realized there were so many more things we had to decide on. Throughout this time, Naomi was always there to lend advice and help us through filling everything out and also giving us email reminders on the dates by which we should have the information. For many of the tough decisions between my wife and I, it was extremely helpful to have an unbiased perspective from Naomi. Many times we would present a few suggestions to her (really bride vs groom options) and she would give us her opinion on both. More times than not, this would help us align on a decision and move us along to the next decision instead of getting stuck on a particular item and creating more stress. When it came to vendors, Naomi has developed strong relationships with many and provided us with recommendations for any that we had not chosen and others that we could reach out to and compare against if we wanted to. Again, during these discussions, we never got a hint of her trying to be saleswoman and push us towards certain vendors. It was always about giving us options, discussing the attributes of each and then letting us make the best decision for us. Once we had chosen a vendor, she immediately reached out and began developing a relationship with them. We didn't think much of that initially, but as we got closer to our wedding day, we could see how the communication between her and the vendors was seemingly effortless. This I'm sure played a huge role in allowing my wife and I to focus on being present in our big day rather than worrying about vendor activities. As we began locking down our vendors and wedding day activities, Naomi was slowly developing a master schedule in the background. This is where all of those questionnaires came into play as she began to piece together how the day was going to go, how much time we had for everything and backup plans in the event the schedule fell behind (which it did of course..). Approaching the big day, we were presented with an extensive schedule that could be shared with our wedding party. It had EVERYTHING we needed for that day down to the minute. As we read though this schedule, we could really feel a lot of stress subside. At the end of the day, it was like following a script from a play. We didn't have to think, we just had to look at the schedule and execute. I can't begin to tell you how much this allowed us to be mentally and emotionally present for our wedding. Not having to worry about the 100's of things that are happening on the day of was priceless. Finally the big day was here and pretty much everything ran like clockwork. All of the time planning and preparing was worth it and Naomi and her staff covered everything amazingly well. All of her staff were professional and extremely helpful to our guests. We were getting comments a few days later on how helpful her entire staff was and at first we thought they were talking about the venue and catering staff. However, it was actually Naomi's team! This was above and beyond what we would have expected and really a testament to Naomi's work and how selective she is when developing her team. Naomi and her team were the single greatest decision we made for our wedding. Naomi is amazing. She is kind, fun and so supportive. I got the full package with DNT events. Which means, I spent a year working very closely with Naomi. You can tell Naomi anything, vague or extremely specific, and she'll get to work on it right away. She will always find a way to make your vision come to light. My husband and I wanted a really casual, fun pre-wedding event called the Sangeet. It's usually a big party the night before the wedding. We knew we wanted food trucks. That's all we told her and Naomi created something amazing and somehow figured out what we wanted even though we weren't able to verbalize it. String lights, Moroccan themed seating, hookah, etc. It was amazing. The pictures attached will give you some idea of what the DNT crew can do. They are also great with Indian weddings. Indian weddings are beasts. They tend to be grand and extremely detailed. Naomi did amazing with it and knew way more than me about Indian weddings. Naomi also saved us a TON of money. DNT and Naomi made our wedding dreams come true! I can honestly say, despite having been to many beautiful weddings, ours was my favorite. And Naomi and her team had a big part in making the day feel extraordinary, deluxe, pampered, and so stress-free. We are still getting compliments on our wedding, and our vendors, but especially on Naomi and her excellent team. They were so thoughtful without being intrusive and helpful, ensuring that our wedding VIP's/family members were taken care of with desserts and drinks, and that my new husband and I, didn't have to want for anything. We always had one of our signature cocktails in hand, without ever having to go to the bar! Prior to the ceremony, Naomi coordinated all the vendors, ensuring they arrived on time and set up everything to our liking. All this was going on while I was getting ready, and what was amazing is that in the midst of all this, I was left completely alone to bask in the excitement of the day, except when her sweet team members came to ask if we needed anything. Naomi is truly your advocate in dealing with vendors, and makes sure you get exactly what you asked for. I honestly have no idea how she is able to think in such a detail-oriented way, and get everything scheduled to such perfection, that there is never any sense of rushing and yet, everything gets done. DNT was recommended to us by a friend who had used her services for her own wedding a few years back. This particular friend is a skilled wedding and events planner herself, and her wedding had lots of different vendors, moving parts, etc. and everything went off perfectly! So we knew DNT had to be great. And purely by coincidence, after we booked her, we saw that she was on our venue's preferred vendor list (another testament to her team's abilities). I had the pleasure of having Naomi as my wedding coordinator for our wedding this past October. She is amazing. Her team is amazing. Our wedding went just as planned and I could not be happier with the way it turned out. If I could give DNT and Naomi 10 stars, I would! I got engaged in Feb, and started the actual planning in early March... for a wedding in June! Yes, I was crazy enough to plan a wedding in 3 1/2 mos. I had hopes of having a classy, elegant wedding, but thought that would be impossible in such a short period of time... and enter DNT and Naomi! She met with me from the beginning, pointed me in the direction I needed to go, made a checklist for me, gave me suggestions on what to do from the invitations to the menu to the table seating, kept tabs on my progress, but most importantly, reassured me that everything that I was hoping for was not only possible but absolutely doable with confidence and a smile. In addition, she even negotiated with the venue and certain vendors to make sure I was getting a fair price and the most for my money... I feel like she earned her pay in the first week I hired her! My wedding was everything I dreamt of and more... it was flawless in execution, filled with all the little details that make a wedding special, and absolutely stress-free since Naomi and her team handled everything on the day of. She had a timeline that was outlined to the minute, and took care of EVERYTHING, even to all the items that needed to be packed up at the end of the night. I reached out to DNT several months before my wedding to get a price quote. It was a bit out of my budget however, after speaking with Naomi, she assured me that it was worth the cost. After our hour long conversation, I knew she was the right person for the job! Now let me say this....I could not have asked for a better, more efficient, organized, helpful and detail oriented group of girls who took on the task of being my wedding coordinators! They take the bull by the horns and take care of everything you didn't even bother to think of. They were on top of everything, including checking in with my family and making sure they were okay during the reception. They took away all my stress and made sure everything ran smoothly and flawlessly. If there were any issues during the reception, I didn't hear about them or see them. Naomi served as the lead Coordinator for my Wedding, and I am so glad to have found her! She and her staff coordinated the day incredibly well, and what sets them apart is their expert handling of the chaotic, tense, awkward, and conflicting moments that can happen during a wedding. Plus they are FUN to work with! Seriously though I believe that stressful feelings can seep into a crowd of people easily if not controlled, so it was important to me to have coordinators that can calmly handle situations while maintaining the cheery mood of the celebration. This is an overdue review, but I wanted to praise Naomi and her DNT team for coordinating our wedding back in June 2018! She helped make our wedding dreams come true! We hired her technically for month-of planning, but she was there for advice from the start. We had witnessed her work on two of our friends weddings and knew we HAD to hire her. We had a large wedding of almost 400 guests and large wedding party of 8 bridesmaids/ 8 groomsmen with a church ceremony, tea ceremony, and reception held at a different venue. She is an expert with the timeline, skillfully navigates difficult vendors, quick to address emails and concerns, and gives great cost-saving suggestions-- and she does all of this with a smile and cheerful attitude! One time she called me to answer questions as she was heading to a wedding she was coordinating that day! Because of her experience, she picks up on those details needed to for the day to run smoothly. After the day, I slowly heard about all the details DNT took care of when I was occupied and I was impressed! She had 6 ladies on her team that day and though at first I was doubtful we needed that many, I saw how necessary it was!! My fiancé and I each had one team member assigned to us the whole day which helped me feel secure the entire time. THE MOST impressive aspect of the day was the fact that Naomi was running off of THREE different timelines!!! She was able to hide 2 surprises from me. Unbeknownst to me, my fiancé (at the time) had planned a surprise violin performance for me with his friends AND my parents had planned for the Trojan Marching Band to make a surprise performance (without me or my fiancé knowing). AND at the end of all of it, we still started the dancing at 10pm JUST like she had outlined it for me in the timeline she gave me. She worked magic!! I don't know how she kept everything straight. Her attention to detail is so focused and granular to the point that we often found ourselves in awe throughout our wedding. I had my wedding on 9/30 and couldn't be happier that Naomi and her team were my coordinators. My venue was fairly big so she brought a few team members to make sure the entire venue is covered and organized. She accommodated my request to have a couple Mandarine speaking associates since my parents and some guests don't speak fluent English. I really appreciated that. At the venue, Naomi and her team were very helpful and moved our event forward in an very orderly fashion. Our guests were also very impressed with the outcome. I reached out to Naomi a few months before my wedding date. She was very kind and responsive. During our communications, she has always been patient, responsive, responsible and extremely resourceful. In September, which is the month of my wedding, she took over pretty much all vendor communications so I could relax. Because of her, I never really had a moment of anxiety. She took care of everything extremely well. I have to mention that the wedding day itinerary she and her team prepared is nothing I would even come close to had I prepared it myself. Not sure where to start with my review on Naomi and her team...put simply, HIRE HER!!! And hire her first, even before you choose a venue because she will help you with that. First of all, I interned for her 8-ish years ago when she first launched DNT and I was amazed and inspired by her work ethic then. Now, especially on the receiving end of her work, my now-husband and I are still in awe of how beautiful, seamless and professional Naomi and her team were on executing our wedding day. We got a mixture of her services with more planning coordination aside from day-of coordination. Seriously, I thought our wedding would be "low-key" and chill, so at first, we didn't want to hire a planner. But further down the planning process, we realized that we needed help even for a small wedding (we had 69 guests, 5 kids). Thankfully Naomi was available for our date. We hired her about 15 or 16 months out (we were engaged for almost 2 years) and she was already booked for a good number of weekends in Spring! So book your wedding planner first before booking anything else! Naomi helped us out so much from fishing out vendors, editing our invitations, negotiating contracts, supplying us with worksheets to help us organize our budget, decor, etc. The day-of Naomi and her team beautifully decorated our reception venue (we only needed a welcome sign for our ceremony spot). I also appreciated her taste because she changed some things around than originally planned and it turned out way better! As you know, things do not go as planned or a vendor turns out to be difficult to work with. So even more so my husband and I are so grateful we hired Naomi because she took care of it all--hah! She is not afraid to call vendors out who do not perform as promised and she asks all the right questions and considers things that we didn't think of. We went with two vendors from Naomi's vendor list (though all of her vendors looked amazing): Kwon Photo and DJ/MC David Newton. I wrote reviews for them too and we are soooo happy we hired them! They all work so well together as a team and seriously made our day so very special! It's so sad that the day goes by so fast, I wished it went on for another day! With how hard Naomi works I'm sure she's made so many couples happy! I remember one wedding I interned, she comforted a bride who had a total meltdown during the reception. Naomi ordered us stunned coordinators to get the MOH, grab makeup to touch her up/tissue, etc. That left such an impression on me because she really cares about her clients and does so much more than just planning and coordinating. read more

I hired Naomi almost two years ago after I began the daunting task of planning a wedding. My search for the perfect wedding planner started on Yelp and after interviewing a few candidates, I knew that she would be a great fit. From the initial phone interview, she was warm, personable, knowledgeable. I could already tell that she was going to be organized and super on top of her sh*t. Unlike some other wedding planner packages that offered 3 or 4 month prior to the wedding packages, Naomi was available from the moment that I booked with her. This was of great use as I found planning the wedding particularly frustrating due to the lack of transparency. She saved me unmeasurable time researching various vendors as she had a list of trusted vendors that I knew would be good. I ended up booking my florist, DJ and makeup artist by merely looking at her list. Literally would have taken me 20x longer to research on my own. For the vendors that were not preferred vendors she gladly took over communication with these vendors to inquire about the packages/pricing, negotiate the best deal and review the contract so that there wasn't anything fishy. She has a good handle of what is the norm for the wedding industry and will go to bat for you to get you the best deal. Throughout this very long process of planning, she was extremely reachable and prompt with responses--even even she was on vacation! She had valuable suggestions and had an answer for everything. She was EXTREMELY organized and I got the sense that she provided a sense of security even for the vendors as they knew she would be detailed to the tee when it came wedding day. Fast forward to the wedding day, it was the most stress free day I could imagine for a wedding. She had made the most detailed itinerary for the wedding day. I knew exactly what was supposed to happen at what time but didn't have the responsibility of making sure that things followed that timeline. We had very open communication leading up the wedding reviewing all details including ones that I would have for sure overlooked. She executed my vision beautifully the day of. She and two of the girls on her team were very professional, ever so present whenever there was a hiccup... to the point that when something came up it didn't stress me out one bit as I knew she would get it handled. Ok - this review is long overdue but I have been thinking about it sporadically since my wedding day and couldn't go another day without writing it. That's how much of an impression Naomi and her girls left on me. My husband and I got married on September 9th, 2017 in LA, and we planned it all the way from London. Let me just say our day would not have been possible without them. Worth. Every. Penny. In fact we may have even gotten more than we paid for. I hired Naomi initially to be my coordinator, but having been through the whole process I would highly recommend her for her additional services as well. Naomi has incredible aesthetic, is extremely knowledgable down to details and has an extensive list of quality vendors who are guaranteed to help you achieve your vision. Not to mention, she really is the nicest person, yet at the same time the most effective person to fight for you. Ultimately, Naomi was my go to support system throughout the whole process and particularly the week of. She showed up on the day with headsets and clipboards and literally took every ounce of stress and worry off my plate (one of my flower girls wand arrived incorrectly and one of her girls, Erica, literally grabbed it and came back 10 minutes later with it in perfect form). I can't tell you how many of my guests and wedding party came up to us after raving about her and her staff - she even got my brother in line for missing his cue which was amazing to watch.
