Had a lunch date with my Bride. This restaurant has a pleasant scenic view of the waterfront and a modest interior with what seems to be a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Wait staff were pleasant and amiable as such. We dined on calamari with pesto and a mayo dressing and Spicy Fish Cakes with snow pea shoots for an entree. For our main Scotch Filet steak with roast pumkin and potato and a lamb shank with Tzatziki dressing and roast pumkin. I highly recommend all dishes. Overall everything was decent, flavors average. Our only complaints were that the "Spicy" Fish Cake wasn't spicy much less even fishy. The dessert was biscotti with Mascarpone, in which the Mascarpone exceeded expectations......however, the biscotti was a bit too hard. A jackhammer would have outlived its usefulness trying to break it. The second dessert was Banoffiee Pie. Very sickly sweet, but nontheless delicious. Diabetics consider this a warning..... Overall, a pleasant experience. Wouldn't mind eating there again. read more
