This was one of the free side dishes- crab! Wow! Except they were blue swimmer

This place is impeccable. The staff always said 'thank you' as they left your table. The waiter we got was humorous, upbeat and had a great memory for the long list of things we ordered. He ha his phone playing whilst singing some kpop and serving us generous amounts of those side dishes with some unseen freebies such as the steamed egg and swimmer crab! We ordered a lot of food but no beverages, so we were surprised when the bill came to just $23pp. The atmosphere was great with us being comfortably seated in the outdoors area.

This is a traditional Korean restaurant in Strathfield. The food in the restaurant is clean and tasty, especially the pork and soup. I introduce a dish called pork with vegetables(not pretty sure about the name...) Although it is 43AUD at night, i feel that it is the most valuable dishes in the restaurant. If you have an interest in the Korean food, you could visit there with your friends(around 3-4). PS the average spend is nearly 30AUD.

I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat Korean food. What an amazing place to have BBQ. The restaurant is kind of busy, especially at night, so don't expect the great service, but it's worth to visit for great authentic Korean food. I will be back.

Good quality galbi is served here. Both marinaded and non marinade are same price: $20. I'm a steak person when it comes to meat so I prefer without marinade but marinated version is great too. Their gae-jang (spicy raw crab) was excellent too. Hope they keep it up! Their naeng myeon (cold noodle) is great too. Highly recommended!

    These are just side dishes!

US Reviewer here!…read more TL;DR - Chef Dan Hong is a genius. This was one of my favorite restaurants I tried at Sydney thanks to my awesome colleagues at work who took us there. If you want amazing Asian-Fusion food, this is the place to go. Review: This was highly recommended by my work colleagues here in Sydney and since I was only familiar with CBD, they were kind enough take us there by tram. I'm so glad I went with them. Location (3/5): It's an interesting location but I heard from the locals that it's an expensive area. The funny thing is that maybe a couple of blocks away is the red-light district. Heard it's gotten more low-key after the lock-down laws took impact though. Overall, it was a cool neighborhood to just eat/chill/drink. Restaurant (5/5): I love the concept of Ms. G's. It's a restaurant in this 3 to 4 story building and I love the huge open windows and asian-inspired decorations. You connect with the restaurant really quickly and it just had a good vibe. Service (5/5): The wait-staff was amazing. Our group was pretty large (around 10 people) and they were really on top of their game. Water was always filled, food came out on time, and they came back often to make sure we were doing okay. I really felt taken care of here. Food (5/5) - AMAZING. I'm not going to go over all the dishes we ordered but please take a look at the pics. Every dish we ordered I thought was amazing but here are the ones I thought were extra special: 1.) Cheeseburger Spring Roll - $6 Each - How the hell did he do it? He literally made a McDonald's Big Mac into a spring roll. It was one of the coolest dishes I ever ate. Definitely get this one when you go. 2.) Mini Bahn Mi - $7.5 Each - SO GOOD! Definitely my favorite dish of the nice. It was like a burger Bahn Mi and I love the soft buns and the crunchy chicken katsu. Perfect combo. I am definitely coming back here again to eat. Hands down one of the best places to go to in Sydney.

Quality/Quantity - Overall, the food was good. I believe our guest/host ordered al a carte...? Here are some of the foods we ate, in my own words/names, not menu names. Peking Duck in Crepes rather than our traditional American buns. Lettuce Wrap. Seafood Rice Dish - Shrimp, Scallops, Etc. Mushroom and Broccoli. Glass Noodle Dish. Chicken Clay Pot. Pork Spareribs. Whole Fish. Tofu and Bok Choy Dish. Beef Chow Fun. Clam Dish. Overall, all the dishes were good, but we were here more for the company. Atmosphere - This is an "old school" Chinese banquet restaurant. Back in the day, these were VERY popular, but not so much these days. In the U.S., they are closing by the day... Open 6 days a week from 10:30am or 11am to 9:30pm. Tuesday offers lunch only, and they are closed Mondays. Yelp hours differ; see my picture. Free mall parking, we got lucky and got the very first non handicap space next to the mall restaurant entrance. Service - Good service, not sure if our host were regulars here, but I felt they gave us 5 star service. Table side peking duck carving service, changed our plates often, kept our tea and water filled, etc. Price - See menu for prices. Our guest/host paid. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1999 and with your 4 (or 6) restaurants. Congrats on your success since 2006 at this location. I also see that your newer restaurants are much more modern. Glad you are able to adapt to the times. Wishing you and your team the best.

The congee was interesting, but at $15 a bowl of boiled white rice, compared to less than $5 a bowl at every other Chinese restaurant, it's a bit steep. Tasted and looked good though. The onsen eggs on toast and salmon was okay, but tasted a bit too ordinary. I saw both the ex Masterchef contestants hard at work. I liked seeing that they were personally behind the food and care about delivering quality food to customers. Too often these days, a celebrity chef will leave the restaurant to run itself.

You know those "Asian" restaurant which serves Chinese, Thai, Japanese and every other South East…read moreAsian cuisine that every country town in Australia seems to have? Well Kin is a bit like that but also in every way the opposite. Kin serves Asian-style cafe food, spanning Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese and Malaysian cuisines with some Australian cafe style food to boot. And somehow...it works! The salmon is out of this world - super tender but with a lovely charred surface. My money's on sous vide then blow torched. The accompanying spinach is a curious ball of umami and the onsen eggs have me leave poached eggs behind in the dust. The pho is incredibly rich yet delicate and the black sesame shake is grey like concrete, just the way black sesame anything should be. Despite not being a follower of My Kitchen Rules, I somehow still know of Shanelle and Uel. It's a delight to see them hard at work in the kitchen when we visit and even more so when we see them truly embodying their name, bantering with their staff and checking in to make sure they've eaten. It is clear that the food here is made with love. Kin, try as you may to keep me away with your terrible parking, puns and queues, but I will be back for the rest of the menu!
