I booked this for the music. Was so hoping the food would be good. The ambiance was great, music was fantastic! Just stop in there for drinks. Eat elsewhere. The apps were decent, calamari and mozzarella balls and they were tasty, which was a good start. The chicken parm was dry, terrible. The steak was very tough, but the frites were yummy. They only have 4 dinners on the menu. One is a burger with American cheese and no sub? Eat elsewhere, so many great options, sorry this one couldn't be it! read more

Gave this place another shot because the live music is really nice, and the drink menu is great. Once again the food/drinks were good, I really liked mine and he thought his was decent, but the service was just mid. We reserved a "dining room, non high top seat" (which wasn't just a request, it was an option on their booking site!!!) and they immediately put us in these bar style high top seats (while their dining room was practically empty!). When we asked to move they took forever to move us and instead filled the dining room while we sat there for 20 minutes. They then told us they had no more tables in the dining room and moved us to the bar area (which was fine but the waiting around was ridiculous). The server when we finally sat down was nice but it was the slowest experience ever. We got one course and were there for like 2 hours, ~45 mins of this time was definitely spent waiting on them to initially take the order and then waiting for the bill. Almost a year apart the restaurant part of the place just still isn't run very well, I would stick to just sitting at the bar if you come here and reserve tables somewhere else at Mohegan. read more

It was a quick stop before a concert. When we walked in I thought it wasn't opened yet. There was no one there. The hostess's stand is inside past a bar that had no one at it. The decor is interesting, the staff friendly, the food was ok and the drinks a little over priced but tasty. read more

Been sitting here for 20'min. No server has approached yet. Sat us late for our reservation. No way will be make it to show on time despite giving ourselves 1:45 before the show. When expressed concerned over our 8pm show start the hostess informed us that the performer actually doesn't start until 8:20. Great but after sitting for 45 min and still not seeing a server and asking the hostess to put in our drink orders which we never got we just up and left. Now sitting at the Shed who greeted us immediately at our table and in less than 5 minutes took our order. read more

Came to Mohegan Sun for a show, this was only place available for a reservation. Ambiance is nice and music group was good. Wife and I waited15-20 minutes at the table before I asked an employee if anyone was covering our table!! Several employees had passed by with no attention. Things were much better after that blurp. Unexpected and fantastic! We were just walking around the casino looking for a place to have dinner and heading towards Sol Toro when we notice Novelle and we thought "let's try something new!" (To us, LOL apparently they've been here 7 years and we just never noticed) We chose a seat at the bar, like usual. Rachel greeted us right away with a drink menu and asked if we were eating and provided a menu. We LOVED that they had sharing plates. As we were looking over the drink menu Rachel mentioned that Gingerbread Martinis were only $5. Say less my friend. 2 please! Knowing how we tend to eat, we opted for 2 shared appetizers rather than a meal. Well, 2 appetizers and French fries because why not. We ordered the Seafood Rangoon and it was the lightest, crispiest batter I ever had on a Rangoon. Absolutely scrumptious. We also got the charcuterie and it was the perfect charcuterie. It would have been perfect for a full table of friends. It had meats, and cheeses, and toasty bread and pickles and stuffed peppers, oh my! Oh and honey and whole grain mustard. We actually packed more than half of it to take home and bring to the vineyard tomorrow! Finally the French fries. Absolutely perfect. I can actually envision myself coming back here just for the french fries. I hope they're the same ones they use for the steak frites because next time I'm absolutely going to order that. I forgot to mention the ambience. Not a huge fan of jazz, but it didn't take away from the experience. I think it's absolutely very cool that they have a live jazz band though. My daughter had made reservations at this fun newer to Mohegan place. It is so fun inside there's table games on an upper level but high minimums. we heard a great Dj was coming in later too! Huge bar and lounge area are so pretty & comfy. The Bar is reservations only inside. Bathrooms are beautiful & and wonderful sweet attendant inside. Classy place with tvs around to watch games , great music playing & I cannot forget the hostess that also took our order & was so friendly & great as a server too! The food was great we spilt a free apps & had drinks everything including the servers who brought the food was wonderful! I Cannot say enough about this great place we can't wait to go back! Had a wonderful time at Nouvelle the other evening! They had great room for large and small parties. They had their own table games and slots within the restaurant as well. The bar as you walk in is large and the drinks made there are quite tasty. I had an espresso martini as well as the "Darcy" for drinks. The staff was quick and friendly and offered live music while enjoying the cocktails. One member of the group ordered a dessert as well and it looked divine. This was a trendy upscale restaurant, bar, w/ gambling tables inside as well as a dance floor for late evening when it becomes a club. The food was tasty as I had the chicken Milanese and had a few drinks. We had a large party of about 24. The servers were great and attentive. After dinner the DJ started playing music and the crowd started to gather. There were several groups who had table service along the dance floor. Fun crowd, and the bar kept the drinks flowing. read more

I don't think I came here on the right night. It was completely empty besides one or two other people sitting at the bar. We had the calamari and cocktail shrimp. The shrimp was very fresh and tasty. The calamari was so spicy but they did give us such a big portion which was awesome for the price. The service was kinda slow especially since the place was not at all busy. I would come back here and try it again on a different night because I just don't think I got the full experience of this place. read more

This place sucked, mostly because they seemed to be super short-staffed. The employees were spread way too thin. Our server was also the bartender for the front bar on a Sunday during our brunch reservation and she didn't check on us- she didn't have time because she was busy manning the main bar. The runner brought our food out and we just sat there for about ten minutes because they failed to bring us silverware. We ordered waffles with whipped cream (they told us as we were seated that we could add that or 2 eggs to any order) and the waffles were crap. I didnt even eat mine, and they still left it on the bill. I think the waffles must have been one of the first things ready and I think they were sitting in the kitchen for a while before they sat on our table because the fried lobster mac n cheese came out piping hot, and everything else was not even close. The lobster mac was good- it could've used more chunks of lobster, but it was good nonetheless. The coffee was mediocre and the mugs they served them in were cheap and you could scald your hand if you were unaware how hot the mug was. The DJ showed up around 11:30, and he was good. They need to get it together regarding service and plate-timing. Because of that, I would not recommend. Lastly, the unisex bathrooms (individual private stalls aka "water closests" as their signage indicated) were in the back with a row of community sinks parallel to the stalls. As a female, I did not like this. Girls go to the bathroom to get themselves right and readjust their looks- not easy or comfortable when there are men sharing the space. Just weird. read more

Walked in on Fri after 10. Two of us go to the front bar and asked for a menu. First time being there and wanted to know what the food was like. The male bartender, who was pleasant said sure and gave us one. There was a band playing so we asked if we could sit at the back of the place to hear the band and get a bite. He said sure, enjoy. We sit at a table. After a few minutes of no one walking over, my husband goes to the bar where two female bartenders were talking. One was playing w/her fingernails while talking to the other one and the other playing w/her phone while talking to a women sitting in front of her. They both ignored my husband. Finally, he said something to get their attention. The one playing w/her nails never looked up or moved. The other said yeah wait a second. When he asked for a menu or if someone would come over and wait on us she said w/an attitude the kitchen's closed. So why didn't the male bartender up front say kitchen's closed when we asked for a menu, and better yet, when is the female bartender going to see a dr about having the stick up her butt removed? The positive out of this experience is that we went to Sol Toro and had great food/drinks. read more

Went here for the Sunday DJ brunch event. Our reservation was for 2:00 and they call us at 1:45 asking if we're still coming because the kitchen closes at 2:15. So we literally had to order as soon as we sat down to our table. We asked to order over the phone which was fine. When we got to the place, there were only two other parties there. They sit us farthest away from the DJ but we requested to sit closer since there really wasn't anyone there. Supposedly it's for VIP only but they let us sit anyways which was cool. We waited about 50 mins for our food and they forgot one of the entree's (mind you, there were no other people getting food) it was just wings, burgers, and fried calamari....which was pretty mediocre. After we ate, got up to dance for maybe 5 mins until a fight came about. The guys of the VIP group tried to fight a single black guy for getting too close to one of the girls. The whole time we saw that he was very respectful and didn't bother anyone. He even took pictures for us and was super chill. So of course, he ended up getting kicked out and banned from Mohegan for life. So messed up. So after that happened, they ended the event an hour early. We barely got a chance to enjoy ourselves after waiting all that time for our food. Would not recommend, seems like they are bias and very picky about who comes in their place. THIS PLACE IS DISCRIMINATORY!!! I went this past weekend with ten girls and one guy. We waited all night to dance and when the dance floor finally opened we were told we needed stamps. We went to the front to get stamps and they gave a stamp to each girl and not to the guy. When we asked why they just told us he couldn't. Was it because he's a guy? Was it because he's gay? The bartenders told me he needed to pay $300 in order to dance. When I asked for a manager and wanted clarification he told me "it's actually going to cost you $500." HOW COULD YOU DO THAT? When I said that's not fair the "manager" told me they can do whatever the hell they wanted and then turned his back to us. Excuse me? When I approached him again and asked for his name he said "just manager." To top it all off, I commented on their Instagram about the issue and they removed my comment and BLOCKED ME! Instead of addressing the issue with me they blocked me. I would NOT recommend going here. They're completely discriminatory. read more

Worst bottle service I have ever experienced. A VIP party of 20+ people, and reserved 3 weeks in advance, was without any of the alcohol requested in advance. Once more was ordered, only one bottle was with the cocktail server, when she was actually with the party. Server did not utilize any sort of chain of command system to allow herself to be present for the party and allow another person to bring over new bottles as ordered. Once a bottle was empty, cocktail waitress was nowhere to be found and it took 20-30 minutes until she would be present again. It wouldn't be until a security personal would have to tell a [rightfully so-] inpatient guest that they were unable to pour there own drink- when there actually was a bottle to be poured. Unsure if this lack of service was due to lack of experience or being pulled in too many directions. This aside, the atmosphere was great along with the DJ. read more
