Time for a couple drinks after dinner. This is my first time here! This restaurant is also located in Mohegan Sun casino. For my [next to the....] last drink of the night, I'm having a Bee's Old Fashioned made with Jim Beam bourbon, Elderflower Liqueur, honey hitters and a splash of soda waters. Boomer is having an Espresso made with Sobieski Vanilla Vodka, Kahlua, Ryan's Irish Cream, fresh coffee and fever free espresso. Both are nicely garnished and taste just right! For my food, I'm trying the New England Clam Chowder with oyster crackers. For his food, he is having a Bavarian Pretzel with warm cheese sauce. Mohegan Sun has its own water branded here! The clam chowder is hot and delicious! That's a lot of cheese to dip the pretzels! It's very good too! For his next drink, Boomer is having the Be Hoppy IPA made at Wormtown Brewery in Worcester, MA. I'm having the Dead Flowers IPA made at Form Brewery in Burlington, VT. The beers are ice cold and delicious! This place is great!

Service was okay but could've been better. Our server was not attentive at all and it took about 15 minutes for her to acknowledge us after we were seated. Their chicken pot pie was interesting. It had the filling in a dish with a puff pastry placed on top. The filling part was sour as if the ingredients were spoiled; I had to send it back. The puff pastry was delicious. The soda bread was super hard and dry and inedible. Shepards pie was decent. With salt and pepper it was delicious. Bolognese pasta was mediocre at best. It needed lots of salt and more flavor. Pasta was cooked nicely. We didn't finish our meals nor did we pack it to go. Atmosphere is beautiful with red and black decor. There's a full bar, maybe even two because the restaurant is pretty big. Music was very loud and made it difficult to have conversation. Probably wouldn't recommend for food but drinking here would be fine.

My daughter and I tried Lansdowne last Fri night before the Kane Brown concert. We had drinks and appetizers we tried the taquitos pork and a Caesar salad and the corn beef egg rolls that was not my favorite a little greasy. But our drinks were delicious I had the vitamin C and my daughter had a pineapple martini. The pork taqueria delicious and salad was very fresh . Seating was very fast the staff and service was excellent. Definitely recommend the menu had many things to pick from . We went last minute no reservations and still made it to the concert on time Enjoy Chris M

Lansdowne Pub is a good Irish bar especially considering it's inside of a casino. My wings were decent & how I ordered them. The bartender was cool, had a decent whiskey conversation with him. Apparently they are separate from Mohegan which lets them stock bottles that you won't find in other parts of the casino. Nice Irish decor, it's a solid place. I don't know if it deserves 4 stars but definitely more than 3 so here we are, gave it 4.

Food was absolutely disgusting. Went for a late snack and the sliders could be used as hockey pucks at the Olympics, and the Al pastor was as dry as sawdust. See picture below, they are so oblivious to their surroundings they don't even notice the picture is sideways. The waiter was very polite.

My cheeseburger was huge. The pretzle bun was a bit stale so ai just worked around it. Fries were crispy and service was good. I also had the new england clam chowder which was creamy and clammy. Lol.

I ordered The New England's with a side of turkey sausage. The eggs were fine, but the hash browns came as two picks and were hard as pucks! Needed a serrated knife to cut through them. Toast was cold as well. The turkey sausage was dry as a bone and basically not worth eating. Plus, they automatically add a 20% tip even though we were a party of 3. NOT cool for such poor service. Not going there again which is unfortunate because my parents had their Wedding Reception there in 1957 and my sister had her Wedding Reception there in 1984. Bummed! Overall not a bad place to visit and would visit again for the drinks for sure.

The hubby read some of the other Yelper's comments and knew to go upstairs, really glad others mentioned that! The space is just big enough that you don't feel like it's tiny but just small enough to feel like you're right in the action. The bar tenders were friendly, they had lots of beer selections (not all on tap, many canned options) and the band turned out to be absolutely fabulous! Following Strange Brew on Facebook is a great way to find out about all their different shows (bands, trivia, comedy, etc) and I don't know why we waited so long to get there! A great thing is their response to Facebook requests for information. But, It was cold outside and when we came in, upstairs, it was cold inside too. So we decided to leave and find a place that was a bit warmer. Nite that there was plenty of seating and it looked like a nice venue. ***** Facebook response for parking. Thank you for your inquiry. There are a few options for parking including on street parking on both sides of the road. Our building is located on the right side of the road (Water Street is a one way road). There are also three parking garages across the street. Each are available for parking, two of them have signage that says otherwise but it does not apply to our business hours, 6pm till closed. There are a few other parking garages located in downtown within walking distance including Main Street parking garage. There is also parking available in the lot at the marina, about a two minute walk from us on the road running parallel with our road. Please feel free to ask any questions you have regarding the venue &/or event(s). Thanks! For the entryway their response: Sorry for delay, On the right side of the building their is a staircase. Our server came and took our drink orders and provided us with menus. We chose the pretzel sticks that come with beer cheese. Entrees were the chicken tenders with barbecue sauce and the heifer burger minus the jalapeños. Strawberry margaritas completed the order. The pretzel sticks are served piping hot, you can see the steam coming off them as you dip them in the great tasting cheese. The are soft any nicely salted, just the right amount of salt. The chicken tenders arrived covered in a great tasting barbecue sauce. Baby carrots, a side of extra barbecue sauce, and blue cheese completed the dish. There are plenty of tenders in the order, enough so that we took some home for another meal. The barbecue sauce was nice and tangy and complemented the tenders perfectly. The heifer burger was served on a nice soft bun alone with crispy bacon and gorgonzola cheese. Could have had more cheese for my taste but no complaints on what was done with it. The burger was cooked a perfect medium rare and it was well seasoned and very large. It came with a large portion of French fries and pickles on the side. The fries were very crispy and stayed hot throughout the meal. This was definitely a great meal. Service was very good as our server was very attentive and took good care of us. Been here before and we'll be going back. A great place with a large enough menu that everyone should find something they will like.
