After going to 2 places that could not fit us in, we decided just to come here to eat as well as drinks. This place was dead but could get us all in. The server rocked it. She made sure we were looked after. Food came out in a few different groups considering the size of our group. All in all it was all good except my fries were overcooked. Still I was impressed by the service and that there was plenty of room for us to all celebrate. Thank you to thre server who never looked frustrated by the amount of drinks we kept her on her toes with constant getting us.

We waited almost an hour to get our food which sucked. Our server would hardly check on us and when she did she would only come by to pick up the table and didn't ask us what she could get for us. My friends got charged $1.50 on top of The cost of their bud light every time they asked for it to be red. They disputed the price and the server threatened to call the cops on them. The server also said "well you've obviously had too many beers because you don't know what you're talking about!" Number one, if she had too many beers ( which she didn't she only had three) it would be the servers fault. And number two she called my friend a bitch. Who says that?! What kind of a place let's this happen?! What a joke. On top of everything she got the bill completely wrong just a really bad experience all together. I go out to eat a lot but will never go back here nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

Corina and I shared the mama Mary biscuit sandwich, Randy had the avo stack and we all shared the rosemary potatoes. Sharing the biscuit sandwich and having some potatoes was the perfect portion size. The gravy is the best I've had in ages, maybe ever. So much flavor and an excellent consistency. We will definitely come back when we're in town again.

It's hard to review an old friend!…read more Since returning to Wenatchee three years ago, we have cycled around to most of the haunts we frequented 15 years ago, mostly restaurants where we had made friends with the wait-staff and owners as well. Sadly, many of them have moved on. But some still remain, and encountering them again is exhilarating. I always look forward to the hugs and squealing laughter.--"...where did you go and what have you done...? We've missed you!" McGlinn's Alehouse is the place we spent most of our time for the first five years of our marriage. It was originally the Orondo Tavern, built in 1922 as a solid brick two-story commercial building in the small town rural American style--big, open storefront windows on the ground floor, and small offices and apartments on the second, with tiny windows surrounded in iron bar planters. Such buildings have long narrow internal staircases up the right side entrance--one you'd never access unless to lived in one of those vaults upstairs. I finally returned to McGlinn's tonight. I had been meaning to, long before this, but there was never any parking in front --many restaurants now have covered sidewalk-cabanas out front--a code violation waved during the COVID pandemic. Inside, the left wall is still that half-block-long cabinet of all the liquor bottles you can imagine, multiplied in depth by the mirrors behind them. Down the middle of the room is one long continuous table that seats 14 people on a side--yes, strangers sit together. At the very back wall there is still, the largest brick open-hearth wood-burning oven you'd ever bake a leg of lamb and two pizzas in, at the same time. And down the right side-wall were six wooden tables-of-four, all sealed in a hard resin clear coat, as shiny and clean as they were vintage and rustic. I sat in the first chair at the first table, my back to the stairway down to bathrooms in the basement below the sidewalk. I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich with Tim's chips, a departure from the "John Paul Bacon Burger with pickled onions (McGlinn's is famous for). Ask to sit in Sadie's section--she's been there 20 years. McGlinn's has been there 34 years! What's not to like about an old friend! -------== ##### ==-------

It took nearly 15 min just to get our drinks to us. The bartender disappeared, and during that time, we weren't offered any water. We had been to this place one time before and enjoyed their wings-they were served "naked" with the sauce on the side for dipping, which we actually preferred. So this time, we ordered them again expecting the same presentation, but they came out fully sauced. I mentioned to our waitress and she replied," oh, did you want them like that?" We were confused because we hadn't made a special request the first time-that's just how they came. No big deal, they were still decent just not what we expected. Also asked for blue cheese and ranch was brought out. We ordered the T-Willy sliders as well, which came out really plain. Barely any sauce. I asked the waitress if I could get a slice of onion to add to the sliders. When she returned, she stood at the end of our table, and almost mockingly, held out a plate with one single onion ring on it-as if she were presenting something extravagant. It felt sarcastic and unnecessary. To top it off, her boyfriend or husband was sitting in the bar too, and she seemed more focused on eating and talking with him than taking care of US. All in all, the food wasn't the biggest issue-the service was. Disorganized, inattentive, and a bit unprofessional. Most likely won't be going back.

From the moment you walk in, the staff sets the tone with friendly, attentive service that makes you feel right at home. The menu lives up to the name--burgers are clearly the star here, and they're some of the best you'll find in the valley. Juicy, flavorful patties stacked high with fresh toppings, paired with crispy fries or onion rings that are just right every time. My personal favorite is the classic bacon cheeseburger, but honestly, you can't go wrong with any of their options. Portions are generous too, so you never leave hungry. What I also love about Bob's is how consistent they are. Whether I'm stopping in for a quick lunch, a family dinner, or a casual night out with friends, the food and service always hit the mark. Add in a cold brew or two from their solid drink menu, and it's the perfect formula for a satisfying meal. East Wenatchee has plenty of options, but Bob's Burgers & Brews is one I keep coming back to--and one I'm always happy to recommend.- thanks Sepi

One of our table members ordered only a dinner salad, and still hadn't received it well after everyone else had finished their salads and started into their main course. With relatively low expectations, we went in and looked at the menu and found items we could both order. I got the prime rib and my husband got the Viking Burger. He thought the burger was solidly good. I thought the prime rib was too - slightly over medium, I should have ordered medium rare. A TON OF FOOD. Biggest surprise was the baked potato had a garlic butter - never thought of that and boy was it delicious. I don't really ever eat a potato side - I'll either ask for it to be omitted or maybe take a bite or two. It was delicious. This place is good solid Americana food. Nothing fancy, big portions. For what it was I'd say it's about as good as you can get. Service was also great too!
