A group of locals sitting nearby were singing loudly to the speaker music. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying--they might have been over-served. We actually had to ask someone else to order an appetizer: the Pimento dip. The dip itself was delicious, but the accompanying veggies were a little slimy. The dish looked beautiful initially, but we couldn't eat some of the vegetables because they weren't fresh. Anyway, it's a shame. Based on this experience, we probably won't be back.

When Hannah returned to the table, I politely asked about the missing items. She later returned, explaining that the restaurant was busy and that appetizers are served with entrées during such times. She brought the JoJo's and said she would not charge for them, which I appreciated, though I did not eat them. I believe Hannah may simply benefit from additional customer service guidance from McGlinn's management.
