Just went to purchase scrubs until my order arrives. The store is your standard uniform store with a small selection. My rating is based solely on customer service, or I should say the lack of. There was no one at the counter to welcome customers in; door chime to let them know about entry. After several minutes someone asked if "anyone has been out to help me". Came by this place because I needed a lighter type of dress pants for my work at P.F Chang's. The place was empty when I arrived, but the manager named Solomon was very helpful and polite. I found two items looked and f ed let nice; however, they were not in the size I needed or they were just the alterations would have been to much. The chef pants I found were made of a strong material. The material felt strong and would not rip when I squat. I have had two other type of pants that have split on me and I found that annoying. Solomon informed me there were be more of the pants coming in, but he did not know when. The black pants were on backorder and I should check back in a week or so. The store did not have what I wanted, but Solomon's professionalism will have me coming back as soon. read more

Definitely a five star experience now! I highly recommend everyone to visit this store in the weekend! I did and I have been a fan every since. I totally underestimated this place. I thought it was a small store with minimum inventory until I learned that looks were definitely deceiving. This store has inventory upon inventory however the store I front is re-stocked in moderation to prevent over stocking. I am impressed by their selection of shoes- comfortability and doability priority and it's in this store. The team is friendly and go above and beyond to assist. They have it all and what you don't see that will order it. They even customize uniforms via embroidery and screen printing! They are a whole factory. Nova Uniforms and BLT Shirt Printers (next door) are ONE of the same all one factory. The new management listens to the customer and implements improvements for amazing satisfaction. I'm really surprised that everyone gave this place one star. After reading the reviews, I was not looking forward to my visit. I had no other choice because Nova Uniforms is the uniform vendor for my nursing school. As soon as I stepped in, I said "Hello" to the lady who was organizing something at the front. She kindly greeted me and told me to let her know if I needed any help. She was very nice and told me about the discounts and options they offered for students at my school. The embroidery I had ordered was done and ready for pick up the very next day. Yeah, they don't have the largest selection and I probably wouldn't shop here if I was looking for scrubs. There are larger chain stores around the area that I could go to. BUT they had exactly what I needed for nursing school and the workers I met were very nice and polite. read more

After reading the reviews online I was extremely hesitant to visit this location. I ended up doing so only because a colleague told me she personally had a good experience. I have since purchased from this store 3 times in the last 3 months with no issues. Upon entering the store I am always immediately greeted by an employee. Thus far, they have always had my small sizes needed. I am a fan of the grey's scrubs. I have called other places and they are usually out of stock so I was glad Nova has always had it available in my size. They offer a decent member discount, better that than nothing at all. I haven't experienced any tearing, blemishes, or holes in my scrubs so far (knock on wood). I would recommend checking them out and seeing for yourself. Maybe the bad apples have been removed. Stay away. They didn't inform me of their policy to make sure the shoes fit before you leave, becaue otherwise you pay a restoking fee. i had a terrible experince, and i don't think i'm the only one! I place a large order that included lots of differnet scrubs, i didn't recieve any type of discount nor did i recive my order and has been a month!! A decent place to start looking and inquiring for uniforms. The guy working there is very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a limited but okay selection of brands. If they don't have your size and color, you can place an in store order with them. For GMU students, they have the school patches available for order, and they offer sewing services. Went in here after going to Gallo's and was impressed! Gallo's had no plus sized scrubs but NOVA U had such a wide variety! I needed new scrubs for work the next day and the salesman was happy to help me. He even let me purchase a scrub top and a scrub bottom from two different paired sets and gave me a 10% discount for signing up for their membership club! This business is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! How do you even have a store? I have to ask. This man is a crook. He takes your money and then does not give you your uniforms until 5-6 months later, when you have to pay extra money for shipping. I really wish that my school partnered with someone else. Because I live nearby, I have been tempted into this store to buy scrubs several times. I always end up empty handed and disappointed. They have few sizes, few colors, and terrible customer service. Everything is supremely overpriced. The only thing I ever actually bought here was a badge holder, and it was soon broken (the retractable string). I much prefer shopping online for scrubs, but it would be nice to be able to try things on first. I'd recommend Scrubs and Beyond as an alternative, however the closest brick and mortar store is in Arundel Mills Mall in MD. read more

My nursing school required that we purchased from this store but I'm really hoping they switch vendors! When I placed my order I was told that it would get there in 7-14 business days. On the 15th day I called to see if it was ready and was told on the phone that they didn't know when it would come in. I called again a week after that and was told some of my items were on backoder... would have been nice to know when I first ordered! I shopped here recently looking for NRG brand scrubs... I was having trouble getting the size/color/cut I wanted elsewhere and looked online to see they offered it here. I wasn't expecting much luck but when I walked in I found exactly what I wanted pretty easily. I went on a weekend in the middle of the day and it wasn't too crowded even though it is a small store. The people working there were very friendly. The gentleman at the register asked if I had shopped there before (I had once a couple years ago), he looked in the computer to see if I had given them my info and told me that since I had joined their database I got a 10% discount. That was a nice surprise and it was nice of him to go out of the way to make sure I got that discount without me asking about it. They also seemed excited to tell me about other promotions and offers they had without being pushy. I plan on shopping here more often. read more

Came here looking for a variety of scrubs. Wanted a few different colors and at different prices. This place had it all. Customer service was great. The prices are extremely reasonable and beat Amazon. And there is nothing like getting the chance to try your scrubs on and see how they fit. Awful! I have never been to a uniform store with that little stock! I reached out to grab 5 or 6 different scrub sets and none of them have size L pants. I was so irritated. Then, one of the girls suggested I order stuff from them. First off all, they should follow their own advice, and restock the darn store. secondly, I hesitantly agreed to possibly do that if they will apply the buy 2 get third half off deal to the ordered items (hello! I've learned not to expect too much from uniform stores but this place was pretty bad. The shop was comparable in size to other stores I've been in but the setup, selection, and customer service were terrible. It's always cheaper to buy scrubs online anyways, but even if I had wanted to walk out with a pair of scrubs that day, I'm not sure I'd have been able to, even in a color I didn't want. They hardly had any small sizes, very few petite length pants, and very few tops. There were scrubs of all sizes scattered in different places everywhere. It was hard to know where to even look. It didn't help that the woman behind the counter barely smiled hello at me, nevermind get off her phone call to come help me out. I bought a pair of scrub pants from this business and took them home, washed them and wore them the next day. I noticed a small hole along the seam in the leg. 2 days after I bought the pants, I went back to the store to exchange them. Since I had washed them, they would not exchange the pants. 2 days!!!!!! I had a wonderful experience with this store previously and had referred several of my classmates here. My daughter ordered some uniforms for her Nursing School. On the online order form, there is only one option for color (navy). However, they came in red. When I called to address it with the owner, he kept telling me that I made the mistake or that there was something wrong with my computer. I found him to be incredibly rude. He refused to pay for return shipping for the scrubs because the mistake was my fault, as he told me numerous times. As an aside, there is no option to change the uniform color to red. This is an incredibly rude individual who does not deserve anyone's business. Go somewhere where they appreciate your business. Do not buy from him. read more

When I walked in the store I was greeted right away by two ladies. I was in search for some comfortable, inexpensive white clogs. The lady was very helpful by letting me try on several pairs of shoes, giving recommendations etc. I eventually found a pair of shoes that I liked but they did not have them in my size. She suggested that I order the shoes to recieve a 10 percent discount. The shoes arrived in the promised time and I am very happy with their service. Most times I enter stores of this kind I expect to find everything on my own. I really recommend this place.
