I was making an online order and she talked me through every step in real time. She answered every question I had to ensure I knew every detail about my purchase. She handled me as if I were family, no matter how dumb my questions were. She even gave me a solid and very accurate time line when the swords were going to be back in stock. Thank you Colleen! I was so impressed by Colleen's customer service that I order another NCO sword for my brother. I did so via a personal call. During that call I spoke to Ryan. WOW, Ryan was just as courteous and helpful as Colleen. I also wanted to change the inscription on my first sword. My first initial to my full first name. He put me on hold and immediately contacted the engravers. Yep, he got it through just on time to make the last minute change. Ryan made sure that I had my brothers engraving exactly as requested. He even ensured that I had exactly what I wanted on my sword. He went over every letter, Capitalizations, lower casings, periods, spacings, and font several times over to ensure my satisfaction. He even made sure that I knew each sword size. Thank you Ryan! When in the Corps and talking about buying an NCO sword. I was always told that if you wanted the best go to Marlo White. No one mentioned a German sword or one from Spain. Just Marlow White if you wanted the best. Well, Marlow White doesn't make the Marine NCO swords. They just sell the best German made NCO swords. What I didn't understand, they were telling me that Marlow White was the best company to purchase a Marine NCO sword from. Now I'm here to confirm just that! On top of their outstanding customer service. They offer the best deal on the top shelf German NCO sword. I looked and they beat every other price. Look for yourself and you will see. I think that there's some skilled folks who work here and they're quite nice to work with but I think there's a certain mentality along the military lines that the "customer is not always right." I recently ordered a new set of ASUs and while trying them on, I expressed multiple times that they were way too baggy. I was told "that's just the way they look," as if I don't have 13 years of military service to know how ASUs are supposed to fit. I "trusted the process" and I absolutely HATE my set of slacks. I recently attended a function for my unit and was asked by nearly everyone I interacted with how I got my ASU pants to be so massively baggy. I genuinely looked like I was wearing JNCO jeans from the 1990s. I was infuriated and now I'm going to spend a fortune to pay a tailor to do what I asked them to do in the first place. So massively disappointing. What a waste of money to buy premium uniform items only to be gas-lit by those who sell them. read more

Came in for my AGSU fitting, but this will be my third MW service/dress uniform. I can't emphasize enough what a difference in quality there is between their uniforms and the stuff you buy from Clothing and Sales / The Exchange. I have an ASU uniform that I've worn numerous times a year for nearly 10 years and it looks perfect. The trousers I got from Military Clothing (#COVIDweight) didn't last for 6 months of occasional wear (braids frayed, wallet imprint thinned the pockets, etc.). Are they more expensive? Yes. Will they last MUCH longer? Yes. Do they undeniably look MUCH better? Yes. People in the service routinely ask me why my uniform looks different/better. The wait time for fittings is frustrating, but they didn't choose to have ever Jack and Jane in the Army buy a new service uniform. The fact that they have had a months-long wait for fittings and back order are an indication of the demand and quality. Not sure what the lower-than-expected star rating is on here, I've been a costumer for more than a decade and coming to the Woodbridge store for many years with no complaints. read more

Pinks & Greens! License to print $.... Sat in for a fitting. Was quoted an assembly date and a ship by date. Well, here we are 3 weeks past all of them, 3 phone calls and ZERO response or F/U... just the same " we will reach out to the store and call you." It's not like I hadn't had notice, I have an event I need this for and had 4 or so weeks to spare... I hope the uniform is correct and fitting the way it should. Update: After changing delivery location the uniform did show up. It is to spec, looks like an off the rack coat... so much for tailoring... BUT, it is comfy, so I will take comfy over ubber fitted!!! No shoes?!? WTF?!? I tried them on, chose the size... but it wasn't added to the order... easy mistake, but clothing and sales is my next stop... hope they have my size. They have a monopoly and treat service members like garbage but what can you do it's they only place to get uniform.

The service was great from the staff except for the manager Jeremy, who did not uphold the Marlow White policy of honesty, and I believe discriminated against me based on gender. A colleague of mine was leaving Marlow White as I was coming in. He received expedited service. When I asked for expedited, Jeremy told me he couldn't do it and could recommend alteration shops in the area. I asked what the rush order status was and he said they haven't been accepting any rush orders because of their backlog. I let him know that my colleague had just put in a rush order a few minutes ago and Jeremy then started discussing rush order options with me. I recommend the owner of Marlow White looks into the unethical behavior of Jeremy. read more

Worst possible service!!!!!!! If you have a tailor who can make you a custom fit uniform, Marlow White has made it impossible to obtain the fabric you'll need to make your Army Evening Mess Jacket. Marlow White and their unscrupulous president, Daniel Greer, have a secert deal with Burlington Industries through the Defense Logistics Agency, so that no one can get the fabric for these uniforms. Highly unethical, and much to be expected from scumbags who prey on soldiers. Washington at it's worst. They charge you tons of money for things they don't deliver, like the rank for your sleeves. They pretend you're getting something ready to wear, when in reality, some schlub grabs a jacket off the rack, shoves it in a box and mails it to you. Plan on several weeks of extra time for tailoring. Cuffs aren't finished, no branch colors for the cuff! What a horrible disappointment! Drop dead Marlow White! read more

Never will deal with this company again! Made an online order on a Thursday, never received a confirmation email. Emailed the next day stating I haven't received a email yet never received a email back. Emailed again the following Monday evening finally received a email back Tuesday morning saying that they can't find my order and when they did find it told me the item was back order and asked if I want to upgrade to the premium fabric which I read on other reviews that's what they'll do to in a way force you to buy the premium fabric if you're in a pinch. I also paid the extra shipping fee for 2 day delivery. Bottom line it lack of communication was were they lost me as a customer. read more

I needed to replace a button on a military dress uniform for an event and placed an order with expedited shipping. I placed my order on a Monday evening and assumed the items had been sent well ahead of the Saturday event. Marlow White White sent me a confirmation on Friday - four days later - that my buttons shipped. They didn't answer my calls or emails on Friday. Needless to say I had to find another solution for the event. When they did return my call the next week I asked how they thought we should resolve the situation. They said they are a small veteran owned firm and were overwhelmed. Well, I am a veteran as well. I am happy to favor veteran owned firms, but it isn't top cover for poor service. Marlow White has everything you need for your military dress. The measuring is not as professional and accurate enough to trust. Also they don't guarantee shipment and don't reimburse you if your order is not delivered on time. They don't care, once your order ship they treat you like "oh well". A TOTAL DISASTER!!!!! I would give 0 stars if that were possible. I had spoken to a representative 3 times prior to making my order, so as to make sure that I would have my order in plenty of time for my wedding which is the 2nd week of November. Made a uniform order of nearly $790.00. I told the representative that I needed my order filled within the normal time frame and was told that I would receive my uniform within 2 weeks. The day before I was supposed to receive my order, I receive an email telling me they do not have my trouser size in stock and will not be available until the end of November. I call them the next day and change the trouser size to something they have in stock and receive my order 5 days later. I receive my order with the WRONG shirt size, WRONG type of shooting badges wrong type of qualification bars and MISSING the 2 sets of Better Back Sets which I had ordered. She smelled like smoke and her lackadaisical way of doing things really upset me. Honestly on of the worst services I have ever received. When I first got tailored for my uniform I was told that the prices would include everything I needed for my future order for my branch and when I did call after I got my MOS, they told me I had to pay for that. I still do not know if I paid extra and the two people I talked to over the phone did not give me a straight answer. I was told I would get a call back and did not for 2 weeks, had to call them back, and then get information. Once, they shipped out my package and told me I would receive a tracking number. Never got it. Had to call them BACK, and then they sent the tracking number to me. Package never came and called them back and a girl named Jessie wanted to have an attitude with me and said it wasn't their problem anymore. She told me she would get back to me, but after being lied to about that more than 3 times about getting a call or email back, I had to make her tell me when she would get back to me and who her supervisor is in case she doesn't. I'm really disappointed with how much Marlow and White doesn't care about their customers, and because all their customers are military, seems like they don't care to treat their military with any respect or professionalism. Not ever doing business with them again, I'd rather order a whole new ASU with another company than have to deal with ordering even a name tag from them ever again. read more

I was at FDIC this past week in Indianapolis. A local retired Fire Chief, and personal friend had passed away, and his funeral was today. I told them the story and they offered to help me out. They took my measurements right there in the hallway and sent them via email to their store in Leavenworth Kansas. This was Friday at about 1pm. They had it shipped overnight to my hotel in Indianapolis. It arrived at 9:09am. on Saturday. I was able to take a custom fitted uniform home with me for today's service. I had so many compliments of how awesome it looked. I don't think I could have had any better service. Thank you to all who were involved. I couldn't be happier! read more
