Since this involves one of my favorite artists, I'll waive any rush charges :)" Talk about service. I talked to Greg on Thursday afternoon. They ordered a shirt for me and it arrived Friday and my shirt was ready Friday at lunchtime. Another local place wanted $40. And, my shirt looked awesome, with a photo I had taken on it, and I wore it in the recent Prince 5K Purple Rain Run. That kind of customer service is appreciated and I thought their shop had some great stuff in it. They literally can do anything there!! I had no idea what font or style I wanted, but Greg was so helpful and took the time to show me a few. As soon I walked in the door, customer service was top notch as Greg and his beautiful daughter greeted me. I knew I wanted to order a crystal for my co-worker who earned a promotion and was leaving the job. I had no clue what to get monogramed on the crystal until I shared with Greg an inside joke that me and my co-worker use to say to each other all the time,... "Making Moves." I could not stop laughing just reminiscing about the jokes my co-worker and I shared. Greg went into back and came out with a crystal (rectangle shape) which looked like a paper weight or a name plate. He showed me how he was going to put her name going across the crystal with "Making Moves" underneath her name. I got so excited how he was able to create and capture everything that I wanted in that little bit of time and for a little bit of money. His prices are sure to fit anyone's budget. But here's the best part...by the time I ran up the street to get money from the ATM, when I came back to the shop ...it was done! I opened the box and my eyes swelled up with tears and I was laughing at the same time. That same night I was throwing my co-worker a goodbye celebration at a restaurant in DC. Well when she opened her gift, she started crying and laughing at the same time. It was totally awesome! Greg had a lot do with making that magical moment happen. This rating is for the customer service since I haven't picked up my item just yet. I found this place through Yelp's mass request quote option--I sent a message to about eight different local engraving shops, and within 30 minutes, I received a phone call from Greg with a quote....Talk about customer service! The other stores responded via email within 48 hours, which was what I was expecting. When I took my item to the store to have it engraved, I was met by a friendly store clerk (I didn't catch her name) who helped me with the initial process. Greg came out later and showed me the various font options, and helped me narrow down my choices. When I left, I received a mock-up email with two different selections, one with the font I originally selected, and the other was a surprise--they created a mock-up with mixed fonts. I love that I was offered so many different options and their efforts to ensure that I was happy with my choice. I can't wait to see the finished product! read more
