In simple terms Framing Outlet continuously exceeds my expectations with quality, timeliness, and price! I have had them do everything from re-framing 30-40-year-old prints to creating shadow boxes with unusual size items in them. The ownership is engaging and friendly while being efficient in their execution of my orders. I find myself there every few months with the next project I am working on. read more

I came to the Framing Outlet to order two frames with engravings to give as gifts. Ozzie was extremely helpful and gave good suggestions to the colors of the frame and the mat that would go around the image. He was also responsive whenever I emailed him. The turnaround time for my project was about a week and I was very happy with the product. Framing is always pretty expensive, but I thought Ozzie's prices were reasonable and I'd ask to see if he has any promotions going on. TLDR: Ozzie has great customer service! read more

Exceptional customer service and high quality custom framing--best in NOVA! I've been a customer for several years and have beautiful customer frames of degrees and family memories! They are able to take your idea and produce a masterpiece! A few weeks ago I brought in 3 pictures I printed from Walgreens that I was unhappy with and asked for a custom NY Yankees frame. Not only did they touch up my pictures, but within 10 days I picked up a beautiful custom frame with the NY Yankees logo to mail to my dad for Father's Day!!! Don't be disappointed with other companies--give this place a try and I promise you'll thank me! read more

I wanted to frame a water color picture I bought from a street artist in Firenze, Italy. I used a Groupon Coupon since I knew framing can be quite expensive. But, I am glad I went here because the gentleman at the store helped me pick out a frame and the right matte color to bring out the colors in the picture. The final result turned out beautiful! read more

Overall, Ozzie's work is unmatched. I had 2 items framed and matted here with a Groupon. Unfortunately, I don't think I got my value out of it. There was no pricing detail and the Groupon was seemingly dismissed as "... That's for smaller items.". I was given a price and paid. And it was a lot. Nearly $500 for two items. With $400 in Groupons. So nearly $1,000 in framing for 2 items? So my $200 in framing for one item cost me $200. Plus my $44 for the Groupon. For a 16x20 print. The $156 value was seemingly lost. The Groupons were redeemed after the purchase and before the pickup. So was the work done worth $244? Yeah, I think so. Maybe. Kinda. Well, not sure. Because if I paid $200 and I had $200 in a Groupon, I really got $400 in framing. Was it worth that? Definitely not. A similar item on sale in store, including the artwork, was $199. I provided my own artwork. So I figure the $44 I spent on the Groupon was just a complete waste. And the carnival antics on pricing confirmed it. But... The work IS really good. Just plan to empty the wallet. And if you have a Groupon, accept that it's just a ploy to get you in the door. Basically a $44 cover charge. It wasn't worth trying to challenge it after the fact because I knew it would be expensive (prior experience) and honestly the work is good. I just feel like the pricing was super confusing and lacking transparency. read more

Brought in a print for framing as (I thought) I'd gotten a really good deal with the store's Groupon. The associate was polite when going over framing options, but things got weird when it came to a quote. I was surprised by the initial price (~$350), but he offered me a military discount which made it slightly more affordable. When I mentioned that I had a Groupon, he told me I couldn't have the discount (that he offered me!) since I was using the voucher. He claimed he "couldn't do two good things for me." The new quote was over $500! Um, ok? A voucher isn't a coupon/discount and there was nothing in the fine print saying that you couldn't use the Groupon and a discount. He then told me that the Groupon was usually used for smaller jobs. Again, nothing to that effect in the Groupon language. The whole interaction was polite but strange- It's like they didn't want my business or to honor the voucher. If you don't want to take Groupons, don't offer them? As another user said, seems like a ploy to get you in the door. Went to Hobby Lobby instead and paid $130 for the exact same frame and glass options. read more

I have used the Framing Outlet for several years now. Everything they have done for me has been extremely well done. Notably, they restored several family photos that are more than a century old and I was amazed at the quality of their work. The restoration was beyond my expectations. I have also purchased several pieces of framed art work from their store and was very pleased with both the quality of workmanship and the the value. The owner of the shop is very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I intend to continue using the shop for my framing, restoration work, and art work. read more

I was on my way to get my pictures framed at a big box retailer when I came across a coupon from The Framing Outlet so I decided to shop around. Not only was the pricing here better but they also did a far superior and quicker job then any previous one I have had done at the big box store. I love how they are a locally owned company and their passion for their work shows! Framing outlet far exceeded my expectations and I will have all of my future prints framed at this store. read more

We purchased a large Egyptian papyrus art some years ago while vacationing in Egypt. This is very special and delicate art and has special memories for us. The artwork is quite large and we were concerned about the cost to have it framed; however, we were surprised how affordable it was. We asked Ozzie to help us choose a special frame, matting and glass that would bring out the beauty of this piece of art. He showed us a number of options to choose from. We are extremely satisfied with the result. The frame, matting and glass we used was the perfect complement to the art. Ozzie is a true professional in his field and does an exceptional job. We wholeheartedly recommend him for any framing needs. read more
