After combing through reviews for dozens of local drywall repair companies, I decided to reach out…read moreto Crisp Line Painting for a few projects around the house. Alan quickly responded through Yelp and I sent him additional photos/information about what we were looking to fix. He provided me with a detailed and reasonable estimate via email that covered the drywall repair and painting. Once I approved of the estimate, I spoke with Alan on the phone and we picked out a couple consecutive days for the repair. (He explained that certain drywall repairs need additional time to dry/cure before they can be painted.) Alan said they would confirm the evening before and Giovanni would be the one making the repairs. The project got pushed back by a day due to another big job they had to complete. (It wasn't a big deal, since I had blocked out the two days anyway.) Giovanni and an apprentice came to the house in the morning to look at each project area before loading in their equipment. It was amazing how quickly they worked and patched up the drywall. They were just about to take a break for lunch and let the repairs dry when we realized we had an issue with the paint. At the beginning of the repairs, I said I would be responsible for providing the paint. The former owners of the home left labeled cans of all the house paints for us, so I thought everything would be fine. Unfortunately, the ceiling paint for the largest drywall area was nowhere to be found! Giovanni was fantastic and cut out a small section for a color match, even offering to pick up the paint. He went above and beyond for something that was 100% my fault. When they returned, they painted everything carefully. Giovanni is so professional and a perfectionist! Everything looks fantastic and we are thrilled with the work. If I ever have additional drywall repairs or painting projects, I will definitely contact Crisp Line Painting again!

Alan came out to see what we wanted done and gave us a reasonable quote to complete the job. Alan and his team did a great job with that, so I didn't hesitate to give them a call when I had more work that needed to be done. This time, I needed some drywall repaired in a few rooms. Once again, Alan came out to see what needed to be done. Once we approved the quote, he sent his lead painter, Giovani, to do the job. He showed up on time and got straight to work. He did a great job with the repairs. You would never know that the holes were ever there. Once the job was complete he made sure to clean up. This is a great company and I definitely recommend them!

I will tell you who I will NEVER use for interior or exterior painting and it is WOW one day…read morepainting of Fredericksburg, Va, owner Tim Milner. Today, I had Accounting pull all the records/paid receipts and we have paid Tim Milner over $25,413 in painting fees on multiple/different projects for part of 2024 and 2025. The painting itself was passable/mediocre at best and at worst it was careless and sloppy, but the price was fair. I guess you get what you pay for. I am attaching a photo here of his recent "work". I frequently found myself asking him, who is monitoring your employees? Is there any quality control here? I frequently had other painters go back behind Wow to correct their errors. Sometimes the painting would be decent.. other times, not so much...But continued to give him the benefit of the doubt. On May 18, 2025 by text message Tim said he would provide a painting quote for a residential property in Fredericksburg, Va, and then we hear silence. 9 days worth of silence. No word from him until May 27. On May 27, Wow unilaterally just shows up (completely unannounced) to provide a quote (again, nine days later).. At this point, I've already hired someone else because I didn't hear back from Wow. Wow employee then proceeds to speak to all the contractors on site (interrupting their work) that I hired and calls another one of my contractors on another one of my job sites. I find out later Wow employee was asking him for side work. This had the potential to create a lot of drama but Tim didn't care. I told Wow this information about the phone call as I thought it appropriate to let Wow know that his employee is obtaining work from and has the personal cell number for another painter/contractor/his competitor. As a business owner myself, I would want to know if my employee was also working for someone else doing the same scope of work. Also as a business owner, I would not want to create drama or conflict for a customer that I have. Again, Tim didn't care and called my concerns "distasteful". I actually don't think he could care any less. Not only was I met with a snarky response, but then he cherry picked an additional response only addressing his employees behavior and made no mention about his 9 day tardiness. Wow employees are certainly welcome to communicate with whomever they want, wherever they want.. Tim is twisting my words indicating I am trying to trifle someone's free speech. And that is not the case at all. Rather, Wow says that my concerns are distasteful. No sir. Your response was unprofessional. As a business owner myself, I would never tell a customer that their concerns were "distasteful". Additionally Tim will say his company doesn't do drywall repair.. and then in another text message, he will ask me if I want drywall repair. "we do painting not drywall"- May 6, 2025 later states, "once the drywall is finished or we can finish it but it would be additional" So which one is it, sir?? do you do drywall repairs or not? Are you a painting company that does not do drywall? I have worked with Tim long enough to know the way he operates this company... With Tim, you will be met with his flippant attitude or complete silence, not taking ownership of his mistakes, providing quotes more than week(s) later than he said that he would, not keeping his word, long stretches of absence/silences.. ... this is just entirely bad business all the way around. If you express a concern, he will call you distasteful.... Some could argue, all of this is irrelevant.. the only real thing that matters is the quality of the work. And at the end of the day, the painting was mediocre/sub par (as aforementioned) in my opinion. Lots of mistakes, not properly prepping, simply not caring about the quality or workmanship. Consider this; my company has paid him $25,000+ in total.. and Tim responds to my concerns in a flippant and snarky way... Imagine what unprofessional and snarky comments and how blown off YOU will be if all you are doing is painting your singular primary residence. I have all of the screenshots, accounting, data, and photos of the work to substantiate and back 100% of everything that I am saying. My personal cell is 540-845-7247 and I am more than happy to share with anyone asking. At all points relative, at all times and in all places, I would not recommend wow one day painting. I am absolutely stating that my values and expectations do NOT fit or align with anything WOW has to offer. I see that Tim has responded.. and my response to that is he is incredibly disrespectful to CUSTOMERS... He is definitely projecting here stating that my job site is unorganized and that I am hard to reach.. when he is the one who is unorganized and hard to reach. I guess if you want a lot of conflict and bad painting.. use WOW!

The first time I used them, they came to paint some interior railings, and did a fantastic job, even if they were hard to get a hold of initially. A few weeks later, I contacted them again to come out and do an estimate for me on a good deal of exterior painting and repairs. The estimate was scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. The day of, the time span they gave came and went, and no one showed up. I called half an hour past the time frame, and was told that they had no idea where he was, and that they would text me. They texted a while later saying that he wasn't able to make it, and asked to reschedule for Wednesday. I agreed, understanding that these things happen. On Wednesday, I received a text an hour before the allotted time saying that something came up, and that he needed to reschedule for Thursday at the same time. I had a conflict, and asked for either Friday or just to text them pictures of the work to try and do a virtual estimate. They asked for pictures, and I sent several, with detailed instructions for each. I didn't hear anything for the next nine hours, and received a text late at night saying that Friday would be better. That brings us to today, where again no one showed up during the scheduled appointment time, and where again I had to reach out and find that they, again, did not know where he was. I told them there was no need for a fourth rescheduling. If you can get this team to come out and actually do the work, they will probably do a fine job. However, be warned - you might never get to see that for yourself if they treat you they way they have treated me.
