I dropped off a trophy to be engraved, which cost about $8 for about 7 words. I received an email with my invoice, which I thought was helpful so I can easily retrieve my order on my phone when I went to go pick up. When I went to go pick up, it seemed they had lost my order. I stood there maybe 20 minutes while they searched the store for my trophy. They were polite and apologetic for the wait, which made it better, because it at least showed they cared for customer service. When they finally found it (whew!), they asked me again for the text to be engraved. They did the actual engraving in less than 5 minutes. I didn't notice until I got home, but the black text was very thin and can barely be seen, unless you put it maybe two feet from your face. Maybe it was my fault, I opted for Arial font instead of the default Times New Roman. Perhaps the default would have been darker? So again, I appreciated that the staff was very nice and tried to be accommodating, but I think the store organization could use a little work.

Jenny's - Same day service for alterations, dry cleaning, name tapes, wash-n-fold. On Saturday: I bought a suit at the MCEX and needed to have it tailored for an event the next day. Purchasing the suit a little after noon, I asked my salesperson where I could get same-day alterations. She suggested Jenny's in Q-Town. I took the suit directly to Jenny's. They marked it for alterations and promised to have it ready before they closed for the day. Sure enough, I called ahead and they said it was ready. I stopped by, tried it on and it fit fine! Their rate was a bit pricey, but perhaps not for same day rush service. While there, I saw dozens and dozens of military (Marine) uniforms being tailored by the 4 employees working at the time. Obviously this is one of the better tailoring shops in Q-Town. Cash only. Located about a block from the train station. Curbside parking meters - 25¢ for 30 minutes.
