Will Grier (owner) and TshirtsRU.com are the reasons I love and hate Yelp. What I went looking for : a local Virginia Tshirt Printing shop with no minimum orders, a company who is capable of D2G Printing (Direct to Garment Printing) in Prince William County, a company with diverse print capabilities who also has the capability of sublimation printing on tshirts, sock, mugs, and golf balls in VA. What I found : Will Grier of TShirtsRU.com based out of Woodbridge, Virginia. What I also found was a man with nearly 2 decades of diverse printing experience whose focus isn't on the almighty dollar, but rather the customer, what the customer wants, and what will put a smile across their faces. Which is how I left Will's shop yesterday. Grin from ear to ear. It's rare that I find a company I'm willing to drool over online, but Will (and his amazing wife) do a phenomenal job, and while I'm hesitant about telling the world about this hidden gem of a growing print shop in Rippon Landing because I don't want there to be a line out the door (which will inevitably happen with customer service like Will's), I also think that this guy and his growing custom t-shirt print shop deserve all the lime light they can get. Therein lies my love / hate with Yelp reviews! (there better not be a line outside his shop next time I show up... kidding ;) But seriously. Will went out of his way to take on our last minute order. He tested the prints to find the style and coloring we liked (which was beyond what I could ask for), and when we were happy - but he wasn't - he kept at it until he produced some amazing products beyond what I'd hoped for. Expectations = Exceeded I'm excited to work with Will on upcoming projects. I wish more small businesses would realize how much customer service is worth. I needed one baby onesie printed for my daughter's first birthday that was less than a week away. Will Grier not only answered my call (after not even getting so much as an answer from other shops) but he told me he could get it done by Friday. When Friday came, I was doing so much running around that I developed a headache, so I took one of those naps that turn into an all out sleep session. While I slept, I missed the email from Will saying that my order was ready and that he is only open Mon-Fri, which was not good for me because I needed it for her party that Sunday. I emailed and called Will all Saturday morning to no avail, so I thought it was a lost cause. I went to buy my daughter another outfit and went about doing the other prep for the party. I woke up at 4:30am that Sunday morning to an email from Will saying that he taped my daughter's onsie to the outside of his shop!!! I was ECSTATIC!! He went out of his way to make sure that my daughter had her special shirt for her special day and it came out PERFECTLY! Everyone commented on how adorable it was! No idea what the quality of work is like but basic customer service wasn't so great. Called to find out where they were because they have no sign on the front of the building, no entry on the board by the stairs and nothing near the elevator that gives you a clue where they are-except the suite number -but the top floor looks like apartments so you can't really tell that there's even businesses up there. I walk in, she asked me if she can help me. I said that I needed a T-shirt printed and that I have a graphic on a thumb drive. She says to me "so is there any way that you can email it to us on the website?" I said again I have it on the thumb drive with me. Then she asked me when I needed it and I said preferably today (this is at 3:40 pm-they are open until 7pm). I said I needed it printed on a black sort of fitted T-shirt. Then she said well the owner is not here and he does the graphics I'm his daughter. And I just forgot that we have a new machine and or we're getting a new machine and it's going to be here tomorrow morning and it won't be running until Wednesday or Thursday. She apologized but didn't really seem too sorry at all. I asked if she knew where I could get a t-shirt printed. She said no. I asked "you don't know who your competition is?" She said "yeah, but they suck." Then she said sorry again. Well, I'm sorry too because we needed 50 t-shirts for our Neighborhood and I was wanting to get one made for our meeting tomorrow night to see what everyone thought. If indeed your machine is broken or not functioning, she should have said that on the phone when I asked where they were located. That seems like some important information. It would have saved me the trouble. But, it didn't seem like that was case. It seemed like she just gave an excuse so she wouldn't have to do any work or because she wasn't sure how to do the printing if the graphic wasn't put on the website. So, not too happy with my local area business customer service. Response to owner: I don't think expecting one t-shirt to be printed is something that cannot be done. In your other reviews, you've done that and more for other customers. My point is she didn't even try to help me. As soon as she found out my graphic wasn't loaded on the website, she said the machine was being replaced. Is that even true? I went to your shop because you were local and because of your glowing reviews. My experience was not a good one and I stand by my review. read more

Terrible experience with this shop. They messed up my orders on 2 different occasions and on the 2nd one he basically told me he wouldn't resolve his mistake, he talked down to me and it was not only my problem but my fault too. He also insulted me and basically told me business would fail because of how I conduct myself. Never once trying to find a solution we could both live with. He gave me options that no paying customer would be happy with. I gave this place a 2nd chance because I understand mistakes happen but when you could care less about customer satisfaction and only concerned with making money then this is not the type of place you spend your hard earned money at. At the end of the day I wasted money, my shirts were ruined, I was insulted and have to start over again in getting work done and buying new shirts. A complete loss. If you value respect and your hard earned money find somewhere else to have your shirts done. You've been warned! Wish I had! read more
