Nottinghams is (as of 2025) one of the best restaurants in Big Bear for vegans and not only. They have a great vegan menu for all meals of the day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and live music in the evening. Their patio is very relaxing in the summer and the interior is super cozy for colder months. Service is always amazing even when the restaurant is at capacity.

Surprisingly delicious! The crab cakes were flavorful and fresh you will not disappoint! This is not your regular breakfast option! The service was friendly especially Rolando and the female server on Sunday morning.

Plenty of seating with a bar and patio area. Food: The shrimp scampi was overly watery--more like lemony pasta water than a true scampi. The Blue Baco Burger was disappointing (2/5): the patty tasted frozen, the bun was plain, and the blue cheese was watery--not house-made. Overall, it lacked flavor and appeal--even my non-picky husband didn't want a second bite. The artichoke dip was solid, and the ahi tacos were good. If everywhere else has a 2-hour wait, this might be a fallback--but I personally wouldn't return. Service was not bad yet not great either.

This place is cute and gives you the warm cabin feels with the bar option. We were there on a Sunday for breakfast and had a 20min wait to be seated but it took longer to take out orders. They had a great breakfast menu and the food was pretty good. The kids had pancakes and eggs and I had the omelets and French toast. The French toast wasn't the best to be honest. May have been the bread they used but it wasn't my favorite. Overall the workers were nice and the food was not bad and the line was less then the other places. Worth the try.

    Happy Hour.

Surprisingly amazing food! Great music! Great service! Staff was very attentive! I have been in Big Bear visiting from the city that is known for tourism and the previous day I had a really bad experience! At Nottinghams I was greeted in a timely matter! Staff were all very friendly and nice to look at too! Kimi was amazing! I ordered the cesar salad and it was very good, especially with its nice twist of roasted tomatoes! The chicken sliders were good especially the sweet and spicy sauce. Happy hour from 3-6:30 pm and a great one man band to go along with it! The atmosphere was perfect!!!! I will definitely be back. Thank you for the great experience!

Came in for a few cocktails and an appetizer after the other place we were supposed to go to was closed due to the power outage. Cute cozy little restaurant on the grounds of the Robin Hood resort. Alex served us and was very pleasant and helpful. She had never made a skinny margarita before and did an excellent job. I must say! Then we had the full order of Buffalo wings and the buffalo sauce had the perfect amount of heat, and the wings were fat, crunchy and juicy. Delicious! Cute little outdoor patio as well.

Everything we got was pretty good except the pretzel bites appetizer which was just ok. They have a lot of options so I would come back to try what they have. It's a nice and cozy ambiance inside, casual but not in a way that feels cheap. The service was great! Our waitress was super kind and friendly, she checked up on us a lot and was quick to bring us anything we needed. At around 7:40 on a Friday night the wait wasn't that long, maybe only 10 minutes. It did however take a bit of time for the appetizers and the rest of the food.

Inside was clean, we were seated immediately but it took about 45 minutes for our food to arrive which was difficult as we were in a bit of a time crunch. Food was alright. Bit bland but cooked well and not too expensive. Not a destination, but if you need some breakfast it's a fine place to go.

Since I am not a big potato fan I asked if I could just have a little angel hair paste instead of potato. The guy told me it would be an "UP CHARGE"! Really? There were a a handful of people waiting to be seated when we arrived and the couple before us were seated at the last outdoor patio table available. The hostess told us that we could go upstairs to the bar area and sit anywhere we wanted and a server would be with us directly. So that's what we did. As a side note, the whole vibe of the restaurant was very comfortable and the building itself is pretty remarkable. Water and menus were delivered within minutes of us selecting our table, and our waitress Victoria maintained that same level of attentiveness the whole time we were there. The biggest shortcoming of so many restaurants in and around Big Bear is the bar and their specialty drinks. But this place just slam dunked on every other restaurant we've ever tried over the years - and not just for the drinks. I love a good old fashioned but until last night, every place I'd been to served their old fashioned in a glass full of ice like I was getting a soda at a fast food drive through. Not here. A proper big block ice cube made the "Maple old fashioned" (hands down) the best drink I've ever had. (I think they've got like 7 or 8 different varieties of the old fashioned and I will definitely be back to try them.) Our potato skins appetizer was on another level and that was before our entrees even arrived. My beef dip sandwich was perfect as was wifey's chicken Scaloppini. The timing of food arriving and the periodic check-ins from our waitress was flawless. We spoke briefly with the bartender, Doug (who may or may not have been one of the owners) to express how much we enjoyed our drinks and dinner. The hallmark of a well-run restaurant is that everyone who works there conducts themselves like it's their name on the sign out front. That's exactly what we got from everyone involved. Whoever is in charge of the kitchen staff deserves a Michelin star rating. The rest of the staff is equally impressive. I can't say enough about this place. Excellent drinks, excellent food and dynamite service. If you want a top-notch dining experience in Big Bear, this should be your first and only choice. From now on, it'll be mine.

We're a family of four with a well-behaved standard poodle, so we completely understood that our seating options were limited. What we didn't understand was watching two other families with dogs arrive after us and get seated well before us, along with what felt like half of Big Bear. Our "table is ready" text finally arrived 53 minutes after we joined the waitlist. If the real wait is an hour, just say an hour. At least then we could have taken our dog for a hike, grabbed lunch somewhere else, and possibly returned in time for our table.

My husband ordered the chicken parmesan with a side house salad while I got the scallop fettuccine dish and splurged the $3 extra to get their Caesar salad (totally worth it, made in house). Everything is made to order and each dinner came with a board of homemade bread and house made butter for the table. Folks. That bread. Was So Good. Soft and tasty and the parmesan, garlic, parsley butter melted right on it. There was something that didn't hit my palate right on my dish, so Patty offered to get me something else. I decided against that (because the scallops themselves were stellar) but I agreed to some extra Alfredo sauce to mellow out the flavors in the pasta, which worked great! When she learned it was our anniversary, Patty gave us a slice of cheesecake on the house the likes of which I have never tasted before.
