I have driven past Notorious D.O.G. so many times that my dog could probably have written this review herself by now -- and the only thing I can say is... what on earth took me so long? From the moment you step inside, it feels like a magical little pet-boutique wonderland. There's stylish dog apparel, an incredible selection of treats, raw food options, supplements, goat's milk, and basically every wholesome, bougie, tail-wag-approved thing your furry family member could ever dream of. (Yes -- I even spotted Keon Coleman treats. And let's be honest: if your dog is a good doggo, they are definitely part of Bills Mafia and absolutely deserve them.) But what truly makes this place exceptional is the customer service -- specifically, Kristy, who is now basically my dog-mom best friend. On my very first visit, she spent so much time talking through my dog's skin issues, gut health, raw feeding, and supplementation. She sent me home with samples, walked me through their rewards program, and even helped me troubleshoot products I was already using at home. On a later visit, Kristy even special-ordered a product just so I could do more "one-stop shopping" with them -- which says everything about the level of care they provide. Even though we ended up going back to our previous food brand, this is absolutely where I go for everything else. I've sent so many people here, and when I drive past without stopping, I still wave and yell, "Hi Kristy!" from my car -- just in case she can hear me. Five stars, without hesitation. My wonderful, perfect Golden Doodle, Kia, started having grand mall seizures all day, every day. Nothing was helping and that would mean her life would be cut short. :( My vet recommended Notorious D.O.G. I had no idea why, but they told me there was a woman there who was VERY knowledgeable. I was filled with fear and sadness... Kia was my baby! I spoke to the woman I was told to, and I explained what was going on. I couldn't help but cry. This was my soul-dog. Out of the 8 dogs I'd had in my life, (all of whom I loved so much), this one had a connection to me, and I to her, that I couldn't explain to this day. This wonderful and kind woman understood about my dog not wanting to eat and she suggested a raw food diet. Then she talked to me about a hemp oil that she believed would help. I bought it all. I gave Kia her first dropper-full of the oil that day, and she only had a couple small seizures that night. But in the days that followed, her seizures stopped!!!! She was running around as usual, eating the raw foods, playing with my other two dogs, and was her old self again. And that was how she stayed for two years, until the store didn't get a shipment of the oil at one point, and the one my vet provided wasn't working. Sadly, Kia passed away October 2019 at the age of 12. I will tell you this though... if it hadn't been for the expertise of that wonderful woman at the store, if she hadn't carefully considered what would be best for my girl, we would not have had her for those two years. Rosie's Review: There were so many things to smell here. SO MANY. Treats, food, more treats! A very nice lady let me try some lamb treats, which I really enjoyed sniffing and didn't scarf down right away. It was really tasty. There were some scary dog-looking statues here though. I wasn't a big fan of them. Mom wouldn't let me take everything in the store home, but she did get me a toy and a couple of treats, so I guess I'm okay with it. Would recommend this place for ideal sniffing. Five barks out of five. --- I've known about this cute little pet store/boutique for a while, but only bothered to come by once again after wanting to spend a couple hours with my dog. I'll admit, I've been so busy lately that we haven't had a lot of bonding time, and with it being too cold to go to the dog park, I opted for a spa(w) day (we got her nails trimmed) and a special trip to Notorious DOG. This shop is actually pretty awesome. It's a dog-loving human boutique and dog-spoiling pet boutique all in one. They seriously have everything you can think of getting for your dog here - food, treats, toys, collars and leashes, coats and sweaters. That's just skimming the surface. They're very much about products that are good for dogs, from balms for their skin and paws to the food and treats that they consume. You can get Fetch! Dog Treats here. I bought Rosie a non-rawhide chew and some nice minimum-ingredient cookie treats, and she was so excited to eat her chew when I brought her home. I also got her a new squirrel squeak toy, since her old one was starting to stink from her putting her mouth on it so much. The owner actually explained to me all about the toy line, that it's actually designed to be better for dogs through how tough the fabric is, how it's double lined; I'm not getting all of the details here, but again, I noticed the pattern of products that are made with love and care, with our wonderful pets in mind. The woman manning the store was very kind and knowledgeable about the products for sale here. She even offered to take a picture of my pup and I in the store! She also gave me a sample of this dental chew stick that I can give Rosie, which I though was very nice. Prices are very reasonable for a locally owned establishment, and for the products they're selling. I wasn't too wild about this place before, but I am! I saw a cool rope leash here that I'm looking to come back for in the spring. read more

This place is amazing! I totally expected it to be expensive and much pricer because it's locally owned and more upscale, especially given the area. I was very shocked that their prices are actually much lower than other places, larger chains in particular. They have so much better quality items and gear towards healthier options for pets and not so much of the processed mass produced items. The owners are super friendly and welcomed any questions I had. They even told me of their upcoming sales. I highly suggest checking this place out read more

I love it here! The staff is amazing and they truly care about your animals. I had an incident at the vet recently and talked to one of the employees about it and she gave so much advice and info about what I should give my dog without sounding "selly". Yes it's an expensive store but don't our pets deserve the best? Everything is actually natural, and has great nutrition. And there are coupons and rewards. Parking is amazing too! read more

They have a ton of options from food, treats, toys, chews, leashes, etc. I love that the ladies working there know us right away when we come in. It makes you feel like part of the small shop family. I fell in love the minute I opened the door and has this extremely helpful and knowledgeable person I believe the owner answer every question and gave me multiple samples of different food samples and guided me to toys for an aggressive chewing puppy !!! She was buzzing around like a bee leading me to just what I needed ! I came back several times after to buy a leash and she once again steered me in the right direction .... Love her and the stores selection and the quality of the products !!! However my last visit was horrible ... I had a coupon from CANINE ACADEMY PUPPY SCHOOL STATING THAT MY DIG WOULD GET A BAG FULL OF TREATS ,a toy and goodies ! Well here comes the sticky part I arrived dog in tow and coupon in hand and another person whose dog was in the same puppy class and I proceeded to buy several products and went to check out and the girl said well what was the trainers name questioning me like maybe I photocopied my coupon and the owner waited on the other PatRon and never asked her what her trainers name was and proceeded to cash her out and set up rewards program for her and her dog very politely then picked out a blue bag because she has a male dog and went to the back counter to fill it up with various bags of treats and another drawer for kibble etc and politely handed it to her and off she went ! Now the person who waited on me was rude and nasty and when I said please could I have a different color bag as I knew there were green ones and blue ones she said she didn't have any other colors and put ONE bag of kibble and rudely handed it to me like I was inconveniencing her !!! Really she started taking info until owner stopped her and said she's already in the system ! This was the worst customer service I have ever had and I try to support local businesses but I may not be returning to this store and will be telling Canine Academy of my experience read more

Awful. If I could put negative stars I would. Nothing worse than a boutique type store having everything but what we needed. The owner was preoccupied with her child and unaccomodating seeing we were the only 2 people in there definitely not good for business. The owner also made us aware that any purchase under $10 would not be able to make a transaction. I dont forsee this place being open too long. Definitely too big for their britches. read more

Love going to this store. I drive all the way from Niagara Falls to stop here and look around. My only complaint is that they are so busy (which I'm glad for) that they run out of clothes and new things she quickly! But I'm really happy they do well! Notorious Dog is by far one of the best pet stores around! They have specialized dog treats for your pet such as birthday treats as well as grain free. Since the very first time we visited we are always greeted by the owner who is extremely knowledgeable in the pet food at the store and assisted in picking the right food for our dogs who have multiple food allergies. They also run specials every month including a rewards program for your loyalty as well as purchasing a certain number of bags of food and getting one free which is equal to big chain dog stores but this is better because you are not only supporting a local business but they great people and offer assistance for anything you need including food samples to ensure your dog likes the food! read more

An amazingly thoughtful pet store. No expense seems to be spared from the beautiful facade of the building to the thoughtfully sourced products inside. I've always been picky with what goes into my dog's mouth, and in doing so I've been pretty disappointed with other pet stores and have started doing most of my shopping online - meh. Not only is the selection of toys, food, and accessories everything I've been looking for for my pup, but the prices are so reasonable!! The owner offers practically the same rewards I'm used to getting from the online warehouses and who doesn't love supporting a perfectly run local business?! I was waiting for this store to open and it was worth it. Notorious looks great inside and out. What a great store for dog and cat owners! Huge inventory of foods and supplies with knowledgeable owners that can give you the guidance you need. They also have some trendy apparel for pet owners. I love the fact that I can pull in and not have to search for a parking spot. Not sure why it is such an issue with the other reviewers. I love this store and I love the PARKING exclusively for the store it is so much more convenient taking my dogs to and from your store or if i should have to leave them in the car for a min to grab something quick !I love the many organic products you carry ,the buffalo collars ,toys and so much more your staff is amazing and so helpful.
