From the moment you step inside, it feels like a magical little pet-boutique wonderland. There's stylish dog apparel, an incredible selection of treats, raw food options, supplements, goat's milk, and basically every wholesome, bougie, tail-wag-approved thing your furry family member could ever dream of. (Yes -- I even spotted Keon Coleman treats. And let's be honest: if your dog is a good doggo, they are definitely part of Bills Mafia and absolutely deserve them.) But what truly makes this place exceptional is the customer service -- specifically, Kristy, who is now basically my dog-mom best friend. On my very first visit, she spent so much time talking through my dog's skin issues, gut health, raw feeding, and supplementation. She sent me home with samples, walked me through their rewards program, and even helped me troubleshoot products I was already using at home. On a later visit, Kristy even special-ordered a product just so I could do more "one-stop shopping" with them -- which says everything about the level of care they provide. Even though we ended up going back to our previous food brand, this is absolutely where I go for everything else. I've sent so many people here, and when I drive past without stopping, I still wave and yell, "Hi Kristy!" from my car -- just in case she can hear me. Five stars, without hesitation. My dog was probably treated the same, I would expect a warm blow dryer. My pups cut was choppy and the paws were not cleaned up very well. Kinda looked like the groomer used a dull clipper on my pups coat. Or can't see very well.

I started going back to Fisher and Friends again recently. I…read moreused to take my pack of three there when Fisher the black Labrador used to be there to interview new dogs. It was a woman owned business back than and still is. Some things are still the same and somethings aren't. Fisher has crossed the "rainbow bridge" as they say and so have all three of my pack. The last one just last year. But I have another one who got caught in the covid isolation and lack of socialization and it was time to get her out to live her best life. Back in the day when you wanted to take your dog there you took them for an interview essentially. Fisher would spend time with your dog and they could judge your dogs temperament and see if your dog was going to get along with other dogs or had behavioral issues. They still do that and have even improved on the process by having an on line form that allows you to document all your dogs shots as well as any health issues or any issues they might need to know about your dog. When you schedule the interview, you go over the whole form as well as going over all the house rules. For example maintaining six foot distances from each parent coming or going from the lobby. Keeping your dog outside the door till a dog of a different size who may be in the lobby leaves to prevent any possible large dog small dog issues for example. Then they take your dog to see how their temperament is with other dogs. Just as they did before , they check to see if your dog is social or has some issues that may not make it possible for your dog go there. After that if your dog is accepted, you schedule your dogs days at Fisher. They also have an in house groomer so you can have your dog washed and groomed while it's there. The staff has always had a consistently friendly attitude and knows your dog by name and greets them enthusiastically and encouragingly. Which is very helpful for a shy dog to help them adjust. What I would love to see at Fisher to make them more current would be on line live video feed. It's always such fun to see your dog playing with their favorite dog friends or playing in the pool in the hot summer days.
