I understand employees may be busy, so that wasn't my concern. What bothered me was the customer service that followed. I asked for a small Berries Delight and pointed to the individual desserts on the left. Instead, the young man assisting me went to the cakes on the right and attempted to hand me a small cake. I politely stopped him and explained that I wanted the personal-sized Berries Delight on the left. He responded by saying, "Those are called slices," in a tone that came across as rude and condescending. I then asked if I could have a fresh one from the refrigerator because the one in the display case looked like it had been sitting there for a while. He insisted the display one was fine, but I repeated that I would prefer one from the refrigerator. He reluctantly got one and handed it to me, saying, "There's your fresh Berries Delight," in a sarcastic tone. I visit Sweet Dreams regularly--between this location and the previous one, I stop in about four times a month. I've always enjoyed your desserts, which is why this experience was so surprising. For how much they're charging for these cookies the least they could be is respectful. For breakfast, freshly bakes bagels and scones are sold, as well as freshly brewed coffee are served hot or cold. There's a table with an assortment of flavored syrup - with self serving pump at your own discretion...not a coffee lover? They also sell tea, hot cocoa and cider. The bakery is at the ground level of a residential and commercial building. It would be hard to miss for the residents especially in the morning...the smell of scones, bagels and freshly brewed coffee makes you want to have continental breakfast there before going to work. From Tuesdays to Fridays - store hours from 730am to 3 pm. On Saturdays, they close early at 12 noon. During Sundays and Mondays - no service. For the coming Easter Sunday or any special occasion, I suggest ordering treat baskets from them.

But I wouldn't turn down a second slice of either. ;-) If your priority is a delicious cake - which it should be - versus over-the-top decorations, you can't go wrong with Graf's.
