I came in yesterday and ordered two 8 inch carrot cakes. Last night i dropped one off as a Birthday gift and the other one for my family to eat. Went to get 3 small Bundt cakes for my friend's birthday party the next day. When I picked out the ones that I wanted I asked the cashier if I could have a box to put them in for safe traveling home. I was told they didn't have any. Right in front of me behind the counter were stacked countless cake boxes. I said, "Then what are those?" The young lady counter person then went and got the apparent manager or person in charge (young lady) who told me I could not have one to safely get my cakes home without them tipping over in the bag they gave me which had two cakes on the bottom of the bag and the other on top of those two making the bag too-heavy and prone to tipping over. I had already paid for them before I asked for thy box or I would have walked out at this point. I told the manager that this was "poor business and terrible customer service and that I would never do business there again." I would have even been willing to pay a charge to get the box but I want given the option. It's no wonder why our country is going down the tubes when you see young people who are so out of touch with customer service and taking care of the ones who actually are actually "the hand that feeds them." They can keep their cake box cause I won't ever do business there again. Upon the drive home the cakes did tip over causing the frosting to get messed up and stick to the top of the containers they were in. read more

I walk in with my drivers license out and show them my birth date....told them the email told me to come get a free mini cake. I'm hit with "I need to see the email". Wow. I didn't have it. I'm done. I ordered a mixed dozen Bundtinis and was underwhelmed...my family has tried one of each flavor and they have this really weird gooey layer on the bottom; almost like raw cake batter. Every time I drive to Tyler I stop at Marble Slab for ice cream... since this is next door, I have switched my ice cream to CAKE! We went to get some Mini Bundt cakes yesterday after the issue with the plumbing many of the folks had in the same complex was corrected. I was getting my Annual FREE Birthday Bundt and we purchased two others. For some reason, The White Chocolate Raspberry didn't have as much Rasberry as it normally has had in the past and they have really lessened the amount of frosting! They either have a new cake maker or a different frosting nozzle as the "strips" were much narrower and didn't go all the way down the side. The center was only half full as well. It really bummed me out because it was my Birthday "freebie"! I HOPE this was an isolated incident and not the NEW NORMAL.
