I went yesterday and again today because there were 2 new flavors to try. now let me say I'm not new to nothing bundt cake and their lemon and pumpkin flavors are 2 of my favorites but I had to try these 2 new seasonal ones. I love that they consistently bring out new flavors and these 2 are great. the biscoff taste more like a spice cake and you get the biscoff flavor as an after note in my opinion. I personally love bidcoff but I will say i havent had an item yet where biscoff is the dominating flavor, so with that in mind if you enjoy biscoff you would still like this flavor. now to the apple pie, seriously if I closed my eyes I wouldnt know I wasnt eating a pie. Yummy get in my tummy!! This place is one of those places that just soothes whatever ails you. I hit this place a couple times per month and it's on the birthday treat run. This new "bakery" is located between Swoozies and Sur La Table, in the Shops at Friendly near PF Changs & Flemings. I was skeptical at first - we have some awesome cake shops in Greensboro - but tried the Red Velvet and was very pleased. It was moist and my fear of skimpy frosting was put to rest. There was enough frosting for every bite. The store also has a few gift items (think birthday/special occasion) available to purchase, too. A refrigerated case of large bundt cakes, bundtlets (think 1-2 servings) and bundtinis (cupcake size, sold only by the dozen) showed what was available and they may have had more in the back. I think Friendly Center needed a bakery of some sort and while this store only does one thing (bundt cakes) hopefully it will stay a long time. NOTE: Their hours state they are not open past 6:00pm (4pm on Sundays) which is unexpectedly short. read more

And on Sunday I decided to take my sister there to pick up a couple cakes Togo and the customer service was horrible. With over 12 year in the service industry I must say I was very shocked by the rude young man that was behind the counter. He was very inpatient and clearly could care less about the fact that customer service is just as important if not more than the food. Not only did he get an attitude about me wanting to order the confetti bundt cake because he had to go in the back to get it but he also slammed my receipt on the counter after paying for me sign and immediately walked away no bye, have a good day or anything.
