DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE OR COMPANY. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I BOUGHT A PURSE, NOT THE SAME BAG AS PICTURED. SPENT OVER $200, old, used, falling apart. I had to spend $30 to ship it back. A week later they still have not refunded me for the bag and shipping costs. Can't get a hold of anyone, they just ghost you. This is not a legit business and I will be filing with the dept of consumer affairs, BBB. Causing others who are senior citizens with disabilities distress. This is who runs this company!!

I'm a sucker for household goods stores, so of course I loved this upscale kitchen/home store! My…read morekid purchased her fancy shmancy coffee/espresso machine here, so she knew I'd enjoy checking this place out. And she was RIGHT. Think HomeGoods or HomeSense stores, but much MUCH higher end. That about encapsulates this place. The store itself is one large, open concept floor. It has all sorts of kitchen gadgets and linens, gourmet foods/condiments, patio furniture and gardening accessories, home furnishings and household accessories. Nothing is cheap here, literally or figuratively. Everything is super well-made, but very pricey. My kid saw a pizza platter here for $20 that she purchased the day before at HomeGoods for $4.99. The exact same item. That said, this place carries a lot of brands and items that you cannot find elsewhere, and the staff are extremely knowledgeable about their product lines. I liked their selection of retro wall clocks in a rainbow of colors, each for about $50 (I thought that was reasonable). Also, note that their sale prices on items are excellent deals. And they also carry smaller scale, cute gift things, on carousels by the front counter. I got my friend a cute pair of socks here.

It took me awhile to get my bearings as the layout was so different from their other locations and there is so much free space! Since they are now on one floor, an entire area is dedicated to furniture - beds, sectionals, tables, chairs, recliners - and you can see everything much easier, so important when you need to compare. Many items have options to customize fabrics and wood. They carry American Leather recliners which are my all time favorite. Small footprint and so comfortable. All of the colorful fiesta dinnerware is still there. As is the huge assortment of white dinnerware, bowls, serving platters, ramekins, pitchers and accessories. Plus simple glassware covering all types of drinks - water, juice, white wine, red wine, champagne, martini, margarita, highball - so you can buy the type and quantity you need, and they all go together. Shelves of small appliances, lots of baking pans and tools, dish towels, aprons, kitchen gadgets (always my favorite) and barware, too. Plus lots of local and national brand pantry staples. Since it's summer, they had a large variety of outdoor dining tables, bistro and conversation sets, with recliners and stack chairs also available. And of course outdoor dinnerware, many ready fir your July 4th celebration. A Portland company that has been around since the mid 70s, it's always nice to support local. At the same time, you are getting quality items and fantastic customer service. Free parking is available in their lot on the same level as the store, plus in the parking garage down below off Westover, making it a breeze to pop in for whatever kitchen or dining item you are seeking.

The lines to check out were reasonable and the store was easy enough to navigate. The store itself has a bit of a strange layout. The building and interior are quite dated and are not particularly aesthetically pleasing. It's a very old-school type of place that probably could use some modernization. I guess you have to embrace the quirkiness of the visual this place creates. It's a local business so I feel inclined to support it. The location is convenient to where I live. Otherwise, it's just a bit more spacious than an Ace and not quite as big as a Home Depot or Lowe's. It's a hardware store and it helps you seize the weekend if you stop there... i'll give it another try for sure.

The service here is horrible. Why come here then? Well, when you are in the middle of a home project and need something quick, it's close to home and serves its purpose. However I am a Home Depot gal when I'm planning for projects. I appreciate the convenience of this store and that's why I am a customer.

Their stock is probably TRIPLE what the one by me is like which is crazy but I was blown away as to how much stock they had when I went! I also found several things I was convinced that I was not going to find at any location! Just wow! The employee stocking the area came less than an inch away from touching me four repeated times. I think moved across the store to the towel section where two employees loudly blocked my exit from the aisle. I then saw the employee that I had moved away from. Then I moved to the art section where the man who I believe must of been the manager was lingering. I then moved to the blanket/throw section, I left my cart at the end of the row, to which a different employee moved my cart out into the aisle and left it. I shopped some more and encountered more employees. At check out the cashier stopped once she was almost done and told me that she needed to rescan my entire transaction. She then did not hand me my receipt at the end to which I had to take it. She then proceeded to shout all the way to the end of the checkout row to where she was. At the end of the checkout stand, as I went towards the door, two employees were blocking the exit. They were having a discussion with one of their friends at the exit. This is the most uncomfortable shopping experience I have had at a store. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and that due to the employees, I was unable to shop peacefully. They were highly unprof
