I've found really good basics as well as unique pieces here. The staff is always super welcoming, friendly and so helpful. On this particular trip I picked up two dining chairs that were 74% off which is another thing that I love, their end of season sales, such an incredible value! When my wife and I came to this store in December to purchase a Christmas present, we were very…read morehappy with the process and purchase. Sarah was friendly and helpful and made us feel reassured with our purchase by telling us if there was ever anything wrong with it, just "bring it back and we'll exchange it." My wife asked even if we use it? "Yes!" Fast forward a few months, and the first few times using it, we noticed a small hole in the enamel as shown in the picture. Not anything to affect the cooking, but perhaps worried it may get larger with more use. Not to worry, Sarah had said just bring it back and they would exchange it. Upon returning to the store, I spoke with a young gentleman who looked at the hole and told me that I would probably have to go to the website and file a claim, then ship it to them and they would ship me one in return. I'm here at the store I thought, it would be nice if we could take care of this without the trouble of shipping such a heavy object. He seemed doubtful but said he can get someone else to take a look. Someone else came and I recognized her as Sarah, the one we purchased the oven from initially. This time her demeanor was completely different. Because I was attempting to return something instead of buying something, she seemed annoyed rather than helpful. When I showed her the hole, she was completely dismissive, and tells me all of them have these holes, its part of the cast iron and the process. I would honestly be surprised if every single dutch oven Le Creuset makes has one of these holes. But maybe they do? She sounded very adamant about this. After much resistance she agreed to exchange it for another. after taking it out of the box, she asked me in an accusatory tone. "Has this been used?" Yes we have used it a few times, but it has been cleaned and scrubbed with the polish and brush we also bought from here. It was spotless. Abruptly she says, "Sorry there's nothing we can do, we don't take used things after COVID." I wanted to remind her she said we could bring it back even after we used it, but I realized I wasn't going to get any further in this conversation and just left. Reviews are always glowing when employees are performing for sales, but the real test is how they handle other aspects of running a business. I will continue to use my $400+ dutch oven with a small hole, and every time I do, instead of being reminded of the nice Christmas present from my wife, I am reminded of the less than stellar experience I had while dealing with this store and their customer service.

We wanted a place where we could have a private or semi private dinner. Bring another couple of friends with us, and dine together without all the stress of trying to figure out how to navigate a restaurant filled with people or a patio with tables on top of one another. The Kitchen at Middleground Farms was the perfect combination of everything we were looking for. Exquisite food, excellent service, and an enchanting environment. Add to the whole mix, the most amazing staff. From the moment I made the reservation, to the multitude of questions I emailed the owner, everyone was just so kind. The staff made it really easy to feel comfortable in our decision to spend my wife's 50th birthday at the farm. The food - oh my goodness, it was fantastic. The farm to table style menu means the chefs make the dinner offerings based on the foodstuffs they glean. We had a special dinner that was curated with wine selections. All the wine paired beautifully with the food. In addition, we arranged a champagne toast to start the evening and the staff even brought the flutes outside for us to enjoy the late evening before starting our meal.
